These are the most poorly constructed shoes at this price I have ever seen. Would gladly have paid $30 for these shoes and gotten $30 worth of use out of them. The rubber on the bottom looked like it was made of Happy Meal grade plastic. The stitching was very poor and uneven and the insole didn't even fit the shoe; it looked like it was meant to be over-sized and then pressed into the contour of a foot but was instead left flat so that your foot meat could painfully pound it into shape.

Something went very wrong with the sizing description this time. This is a decent shoe, but unlike most New balance shoes, these are way off base on sizing description! Not only is this shoe too small in length, but also way too narrow to be honestly described as a 4E. I work in the medical field and am always on my feet at work so dependability and consistency in shoe sizing matters to me. I have been a loyal New Balance customer for years, but this is the worst sizing experience with their products that I have had.

I am consistently a 10.5 size shoe and Wide. The shoes were definitely at least a half size to small, as my large toe is all the way to the end of the shoe. The wide is still very tight. I have never worn an 11, but am reordering up a half size to see how they fit. I really like the shoe overall and the cushion in the heel and sole seem great. Will know in a week if the half size over is enough.

This shoe runs small and narrow. Choose a size larger and wider when ordering.

I have worn the NB MW967 for the past several years, and it is the best walking shoe I ever had. When I looked for a replacement the MW969 seemed a reasonable choice. Because of the reviews I ordered it a size larger than normal (11B). It is about right in length, but it is extremely wide for a narrow size shoe. It has zero arch support. The laces are horrible; they don’t allow tightening the shoe on your foot. I am going to buy new laces and an arch support insert to see if they help; if not I will scrap these and shop for another brand as these hurt my feet when walking. At about the same price as the 967 (considering inflation) I have gone from a great shoe to a complete loser.

Although my size in all shoes other than New Balance is 7 1/2, I've been wearing NB in size 8 for years. In this model an 8 is way too small. Going to try a 9. No stars for comfort for now. Stay tuned.

I purchased these and a pair of 956's earlier both 11 1/2. I do not recommend purchase of these shoes since the sizing is off by at least 1/2 size. Head to head length comparison to the 956's show the shoe to be at least 1/2 in shorter! I simply cannot wear them any longer.

There's no way this shoe is an 11.5. It's a good inch or so shorter than my other NB shoes. I'm hoping this pair was mislabeled.

Somewhere along the road, new Balance seems to have misplaced their sizing template. The size 13 EEEE New Balance shoes I ordered squished my toes the minute I put them on. They seem more like a 11 1/2 than 13. I returned them for a size 14, hopefully, I won't need a 15.
