I wear these sneakers the entire day, whether standing, walking, or working out. They are "all day" comfortable, have the perfect width in the toe box, and provide phenomenal overall foot support. The mesh keeps my feet cool.

Just ordered my next pair. I've had my old ones for many years now and after almost daily use it's time for a fresh pair. I have feet that are hard to fit but these shoes do, giving me very good support and the comfort to wear all day. They work well on hot days and on dry days in the dead of winter with warmer socks. They breath well so obviously do not keep any water out. The soles are smoother than many outdoor shoes so they stay cleaner and still provide more than adequate traction. Possibly the best shoe I've ever had.

I need a good solid well wearing sneaker for walking and these seem to be a great match.

I was delighted with this version of a New Balance walking shoe. I had for several years been wearing another series, but they became so structured and clunky and heavy that I was looking for something else. The 877 was the answer. It's lighter, feels less confining, less like a boot and more like a light shoe -- just what I wanted.

Good, comfortable shoe; but have replaced liner with a thicker, softer one.

The LLB catalog stated that new balance shoes tend to run small and to order a half size larger than your normal shoe size I did this in order 10 and the shoes arrived and were too big very uncomfortable to walk in I sent them back got a new pair of shoes at 9 1/2 and the shoes fit wonderfully the wide body allows your toes to spread while walking and they are very comfortable

Purchased my second pair as they are so comfortable. They fit well. The mesh material gives to allow controlled movement of my feet. Recommended by my podiatrist.

This is the second time I've purchased this shoe for my husband. He really is comfortable in it. Color is neutral, goes with everything.

I generally wear a wider shoe and ordered the wide size, but they are too wide for me. So I returned them and ordered a half size larger than my normal size in the medium width. They fit perfectly. Comfortable right out of the box. Very well made, as all New Balance shoes are. Return was easy and free with the exchange. I am very pleased with LL Bean's service here.

I use these shoes for my daily walks and daily errands. Having a size 14-14.5 shoe size is always a guessing game when ordering online. After two failed tries with another brand, New Balance got it right. My feet have room with the box-toe style design and I can walk 3-4 miles daily on a 6 ft 2' frame with no soreness. That's a winner.

I am 77 years old and walk to stay healthy. My walking shoes are important to me. New Balance is my favorite brand.

Great fit, very comfortable, plenty of room, true to my size. About the short tongues, I left the laces out of the top holes. No slipping down, and they still feel very secure. I would highly recommend these walking shoes.
