Sturdy but light weight. Purchased in wide for son-in-law and fit true to size

These 877v1 sneakers are very comfortable to walk in, and they look great. I'm very happy with them and would purchase them again.

This is my fifth pair of this style. They fit great from day one. Don't ever stop making the 877v1!

I bought the shoes for my husband. He's quite satisfied with them. They fit and are comfortable.

All the shoes I ever bought I did because I liked their style. Now I'm 33 and frankly I can't wear those anymore. Just walking in them to the store is painful. I have been struggling to find the right fit shoes. My feet are wide and it's hard to find brands that make wide shoes in general.

Fit is as ordered. No break in time needed. I walk every day for exercise and always buy New Balance.

Really comfortable shoes.

These are among the most comfortable shoes I have owned, and I appreciate the understated styling. The ease with which I can get these in a wide width is also a huge plus for me. I am on my feet 6 or 7 hours a day at my job, plus, I walk for an hour daily. These shoes have not let me down yet.

They aren't a great fashion plate, but they are made for the shape of lots of feet. Real comfortable to wear for all kinds of use.

I walk 2-5 miles day and these are really great walking sneakers. Light, great support, cushioned well and good looking too!

I received my Brooks 877v1 and was a bit skeptical as the Brooks website recommended I get a half size bigger than I normally get. Well, once they came and tried them on, they fit PERFECTLY! I'm very happy with these shoes and I believe you've just earned a lifelong customer!

Difficult to find extra wide shoe that fits. This shoe meets expectations. Comfortable with good support.

Very comfortable sneakers. Great shoes by NB. Good fit...but my experience with previous NB sneakers is get a half size larger than usual. Shoes are as advertised.

Useful for walking

Best combination of support + "feel for the road" in these walking shoes. My feet are X -Wide and New Balance offers this width, so they get my loyalty!

I wear these when I walk 2+ miles 3 times a week. They have been comfortable from the first day.

This replaces an earlier generation which was a much beloved shoe. This version is equal or better. I need a wide size due to several foot surgeries. Thank you NB for offering a large variety of shoes in wide and ex-wide. I can always find comfortable shoes that perform as advertised.
