I bought this necklace for everyday wear and I love it. Amethyst is my birthstone, so its perfect. The real thing is a LOT darker than it appears in the picture, so if you like light purple better than dark purple and I wouldn't recommend.

I purchased the necklace for my granddaughter's Confirmation. The blue is her favorite color and has a lovely setting.
