My daughter wears orthotic inserts and this brand is one of the only shoes we've found that fit them comfortably. The insole is easily removable, which also helps. I just want to point out that since this is a Japanese brand, their sizes are originally made in CM. So, you can order two different styles that are the same US Size and they are actually slightly different (you can tell by looking at the CM size, which unfortunately zappos doesn't show online). Just be warned that you may need to try a few different styles to get exactly what you are looking for, and just because one style fits in a certain size doesn't mean another will. These shoes are great, I just wish I could see the CM size when ordering so I didn't have to buy 4 pairs and return 3.

I wrote a prior review raving about these shoes but now my daughter has worn them to camp for a week and my opinion has changed. They are starting to fall apart. The threading is starting to come out and there is already a small hole. If your child is not very active, then these could be a good pick.

We ordered 2.5 little kids, but the sizing was off. When we received, it was an adult 2.5, youth 10. So take your best guess! Really liked the style for me.

Seem like nice shoes (and I am a fan of Tsukihoshi's) but sizing is off with these. They say US 2, UK2 and 22cm on the label, which makes no sense. The US2's we ordered are closer to US4 (which matches the 22cm).

Love the design of the hook and loop, without it being a high top. No laces to trip on or laces to adjust or break with a toggle. Colors are fabulous! Doesn't seem to be much padding, but my daughter says it's comfortable, so mama's happy. This shoe washes well in the washing machine. Hopefully, Tsukihoshi kids will come out with a waterproof shoe in the near future. A toe protector would complete this shoe as perfect.

These were the second pair of the same shoes for my six year old granddaughter. She refuses to wear any others to school and the first pair were worn out.

Finally a pair of sneakers my daughter will wear! My daughter has some sensory issues and we tried on at least 20 pairs of sneakers. These are the only ones that work. They are light and keep her foot in without the heal popping out slightly.

These are the only sneakers my daughter will wear. Light weight, very soft and 'bendy'. Wish they made them in adult sizes!

This is our 3rd pair of this brand of shoes. We love the minimal structure, lightweight, and flexibility of these shoes. My son had very wide feet and shoes are extremely difficult to find. These fit so good. We love them. However, they aren't as durable as I'd like. One month in and they already need fixing. Ugh! This is our favorite store because has a much more grippy sole. Glad for the extra traction as we hike often. (Note: son is 7 and these are his main/daily shoes.)

Sizing is bizarre. The shoes we just received are huge. I ordered US kid size 4. The sticker on the box says that but it also says UK size 4.5. I’m pretty sure that US size 4 is UK size 3 so this sizing makes no sense. Obviously they are going back. The shoes that arrived look like they have been worn. They are cute though, gigantic size notwithstanding.

We purchased a size 3.5 Little Kid/Big Kid for my 9 year old daughter and they are gigantic. The size 3.5 is too big for me and I typically wear a size 7.5. The sizing is clearly incorrect. They are marked as a UK size 3.5 and US size 3.5, which are not equivalent and definitely not kid sized.
