These shoes are super comfy and very lightweight. Gotta watch out for swampfoot in these but the little air holes in the bottom make it possible to spritz them with rubbing alcohol and they dry quickly. I get many compliments on the style of these shoes.

My daughter loved how this shoe looked and fit but it made a very odd squeaky/sticky sound when she walked. The noise seems to come from the adhesive that is used to secure the liner. We may try another pair to see if it is a consistent problem.

Very cute and flattering. I have a narrow-medium foot (narrower heel) depending on brand. These fit great in the heel and in the width, but length-wise they feel 1/2 to a full size too small. I'm returning and am re-ordering a full size up.

Another great pair of comfortable walking shoes from J-41. It's weird when people ask what brand of shoes I am wearing, because none has heard of J-41. But I am going to fix that amongst my friends and family. This is my second pair of casual walkers from this brand. I am a fan. They make shoes that just conform to your feet the minute you put them on. True to size and no breaking in necessary! Love love love!

I have been looking for an athletic mary jane for quite a while and I finally found one! I have a high arch and narrow heel, but I put these on and wore them with no breaking in. I would have liked more arch support, but I after looking for such a long time, I'm happy to have a shoe that fits and doesn't rub.

I LOVED these shoes the second I saw them. Super cute, great for capri's, skirts, dresses, shorts etc. They make your feet look great. Very light weight, sporty but feminine. They would be great to walk in for shopping or traveling, walking through an airport. I am getting another pair!!

Love this shoe! They are super comfortable & extremely lightweight, so very packable. I appreciate that they are fairly minimalist, without much arch support & no heel rise (much healthier for your feet). There are a few drainage/ventilation holes in the sole (covered in a durable fine mesh) - the one under the ball of my foot took a little getting used to, but now it's fine. Mine were not remotely squeaky!

I love these shoes. I put them on to try them, and kept them on all day. They squeaked for 10 minutes on tile floors, then stopped. I can't wait to get caught in the rain with them, to see how the water feature works. And they are dressy enough for casual summer dresses or skirts. Love Zappos' delivery, as always. Shoe does run big, I am a 9.5 nod these are 9. Zero arch support, but I was not looking for any.

These shoes are awesome! They did make a noise when I first got them, as the previous reviewers said, but after wearing them around the house for a bit they no longer make any noise. They are comfortable, cute, are not too big for my narrow foot, and I can wear them in the water (they have drainage holes!). I can't wait to try them out in the water. They are really light too, so much better than other bulky heavy water shoes like Keens.

The white is annoyingly much whiter than depicted. I'm getting used to them, but the white bands make the shoes stand out. My previous pair looked just like the picture and could be worn with dress pants. Super comfy though!

I love J-41 shoes. I thought this was the perfect shoe. Last year I bought a similar style of J-41's where the toe area was all-mesh. LOVED those shoes, but my big toe pulled the mesh out. I know I need a higher toe box because of my "elf toes." I thought this shoe was the perfect answer, because the toe area has "shoe" instead of "mesh," and everything else looks the same as the shoe I love. Wrong. This toe box is cut differently, more like a ballerina shoe style, leaving no room for curly toes. So be warned if you need a higher toe box - this shoe is not for us. So sad! Must return shoes. Still ranking these shoes high because they are great except for that toe box cut. Note: J-41's Sea Breeze water shoe does have the higher toe box, no mesh at toes, and all the super-comfy awesomeness of J-41's.

Disagree with the comments about the noise these make. They are incredibly comfortable and the walking noise is nothing to be concerned with...and I'm walking around in the house with them where it would be louder than outside. Bought these at the Shepherdsville store deeply discounted...so would like to thank those who returned them in my size!

I tried these in both a 7 and 7.5, the problem is the toe cap is shallow (or maybe I have fat big toes. So although width and length seemed fine, I felt pressure on the top of my toe. I opted for the Teva Northwave instead.

I wanted to like these, but they ran a bit short, and the box wasn't comfortable for the length of my toes. I liked the idea behind the ventilation, but these just weren't the right shoes for my feet.

I found I didn't care for the look of these shoes in person. The white accents are very, very bright. But the biggest problems were that the ankle strap felt very thin and flimsy compared to the similar one on the J-41 Misty Mesh, and the toe box was more shallow, resulting in a poor fit for me. I kept the Misty Mesh in the grey/purple color combo.

These shoes are super cute and I really wanted to like them, however, there were a few things wrong. The shoe has an extreme curvature inward at the toes. I'm sorry but the average foot shape is not a C. There is zero arch support, which is knew about from reading other comments, but I was still hoping they would be somewhat comfortable. They were not. These shoes did not match. One was more curved than the other. One had more rubber sole on the toes than the other. Finally, I have never had sizing issues in the past with any other brand of shoe I've purchased but these were a bit too snug. Sadly I will be returning these.

I read the other review that this shoe squeaks but decided to order it anyway. The shoe does squeak quite loudly so sadly, I will be returning them. They are cute though. I did order a different style in the same brand that got good reviews and they don't squeak so I will be keeping those!

Love the look, comfy, but they make loud crinkling sounds when I walk in them! Something with the glue on the insoles. Sadly I will be retuning them.
