Ordered this in khaki & red, returning khaki, as it is much darker than it appears here. I like the nylon bags, have an East-West style which I like, because the top is wider than the North-South styles & easier to reach into. Seems there are no E-W styles anywhere; this bag is acceptable, as I need something larger for trips. I previously purchased/returned/re-purchased a D & B bag ("zip-zip" style), which is quite heavy as it is leather. I re-purchased it in the bone color, as it exactly matches a set of luggage I have, and plan to use the bag as a small carry-on. But - it is heavy. I like the longer strap on the red bag, as I do plan to carry it as a cross-body bag (safer than on the shoulder); it would get 5 stars if it were a bit wider at the top. I did order a couple of other bags, Baggelini & another make, hope they will be OK. If not - Zappos is great for returns!!! Great styles, great choices, and great choice of shoes - esp. if you have hard to fit feet!!!

Ordered the black w/tan leather about a year ago with Zappos. The Black is very saturated... does not look dark gray. Roomy, light-weight and comfortable to carry. Only problem is I wish the crossbody strap had more holes in it; I'm 5'2" so it's a bit long. Tried the same style in leather - it was too heavy. The nylon style is very rugged (even with your belongings in it) so for comforts' sake ordered another in Khaki. Also seem water resistant, never had a problem with my first one when it got wet. This style is big enough without being too big. A very good buy!

I love this purse! I bought it as a smaller travel purse but a funny thing happened when I got home, I kept using it and have never moved back into my larger purse. Lots of storage options. I have the navy color and it is perfect. I do completely agree with other reviewers that the straps ends are a problem that DB should have had a remedy for, such as a simple through strap for the ends as they do point in every which way. I would definitely recommend this as a handy and stylish travel purse.

This is my first crossbody bag and I love it! It's big enough to fit my wallet, sunglass case and a few other small must haves. Thanks Zappos!

I am a huge D&B fan and have several. This is super cute but don't care for the nylon. Also, wanted it for vacation and I'm afraid it is going to be to small. I will be sending this bag back and look for another Dooney that I can wear cross body that's a little larger.

I usually love Dooney handbags...but I didn't like the crossbody strap...I like shoulder straps better!

I really do like this Crossbody purse. Not too big and not too small....but I hate the strap! It is way too long and that is after I shortened it to the last holes on the strap. Then when I put it over my right shoulder the strap has about 8 inches sticking up and loose. Sorry to return it but the strap would drive me crazy!

I liked this purse very much; however, I returned it. As others have said, the strap is very long and can be shortened with one or both of the buckles (which is already sort of odd). But there is no way to keep the long ends from flapping. There needs to be another loop below each of the buckles to hold the loose ends down.

I loved this bag! It was the perfect size. Unfortunately, the strap is not as pictured above--it seems Dooney changed their design. The problem with the new strap is that there is two adjustable parts and the second is backwards. This means the excess strap flips over and sticks straight out. This problem could be remedied by those little sliding holder things but they didn't put any of those on the new strap. If you take the center strap out completely, you could hook the two ends together for a short shoulder bag, but it's not long enough for an crossbody. I'm really bummed to have to send this back.

Purchased this bag, in red, about a week ago, returned it the next day; the color was not nearly as rich and vibrant as I had expected. I was hoping for a true red, but it's more of a dull tomato red. Also, for a bag at this price, it looks pretty unimpressive, almost like a lunch bag, because of the shape. For my first D&B bag, I was underwhelmed. On the up side, it was lightweight, and Zappos service is excellent, and their pictures are accurate; I just was hoping for a more saturated color based on pictures of this bag on the D&B website.

I had high hopes for this bag but was really disappointed. It's not a true navy, has a touch of teal and doesn't look good with true navy clothes. Will be sending it back even though the quality is good.

Straps cut into my neck. Zipper on the bag is too rough and rubs against my nail cuticles when I go into the bag. I wanted to love this bag, but it is going back.

The strap provided definitely was not long enough to make it a crossbody bag. I am very confused by this because that is not what is pictured. The bag was also larger than I wanted. It is still quite cute and looks well made, but I will be sending it back.

Strap came apart from the side of bag after two days use. It looked to be glued instead of sewn. Very disappointed because the purse is a good size for cross body and had an extra zipper in front. I would be very happy if it had not broken.
