The left sandal was manufactured to higher quality standards than the right sandal! So, I went through and trimmed extra leather and clipped strings on the right one to bring it up to speed. The back strap on the right sandal is about a half inch longer than the same strap on the left sandal! Nothing I can do about that, and the strap collides with the front ankle strap, but they're still very wearable and I have kept them and wear them and they are SUPER COMFORTABLE! They are not as stylish as they appear in the photos: the metal-toned leather medallions are just silly looking (I took them off), and the shoe is a bit "clunkier" than it appears in the video - but it's very lightweight, the leather is soft, and it's a great walking sandal and good overall utility shoe for travel and casual wear. Despite the questionable quality control at the manufacturing plant, I'll order Romikas again!

This is a follow up review, 4 years later. I liked them before, but absolutely love them now and own them in every color I can get. This is the only shoe I can wear all day for lots of miles. The one color I'd avoided buying all these years is the Basalt -- it looked super shiny in the pics, but I just got it and it's actually a nice gunmetal. The insoles do get gross easily. And they should be replaceable, but Romika won't sell separate insoles anymore! So I've bought clearance Romikas in other styles that share this insole so I can swap them out and make these last longer. While the others have the same footbed, only this one has straps that don't rub toes. I do put a small arch insert under the insole of my left foot for better arch support. It doesn't have much.

These shoes are adjustable at four straps. As I use a removable orthotic, I removed the insoles that came with the shoes. I used stick on Velcro on my orthotics (after cleaning bottoms first). They look and feel great - even tho my insole is dark blue and not the pretty suede one that came with the shoe. I am taking them on a cruise in a week and will wear them dancing in lieu of my Nikes!

I've had this for years and it's held up well through rainy, dusty, cobbly travel. The tri-metallic accents elevate it from a plain utilitarian flat sandal.

I own two other pairs of the Romika Ibizas. I love them! I have a high arch and need a sandal that I can slide my orthotic into. The toe space is square instead of pointy. So, plenty of width through the metatarsals. The 4 adjustable straps keep your foot snug. The base is sturdy. It helps with solid footing and balance. I wear these everywhere! They are a little clunky but comfort and durability are more important to me. The straps are real leather. The insole comes out for easy cleaning. The sandals are so durable that the velcro will wear out before the sole or the straps. A quick trip to the local shoe man for new velcro and you'll be good to go another year. I live in Florida and wear these 9 months out of the year.

I needed a sandal quickly that would take a heel lift and these were the best fit. After wearing them for a while I find that they are true to length and width but on me the arch support is less than "moderate", I would also like it if the sole had a bit more padding like my favorite pair of Bionicas. I also thought that they look better on the foot than in the box.

It seems this shoe pushes the foot forward, leaving room in the back of the shoe while toes hang over in the front.

This is my third pair of these sandals which work great for a bunion, yet do not draw attention to it. They are comfortable the first wearing and made of fine leather. Have them in brown, silver and the three strap black.

Really cute sandal but it ran large in size. I have a narrow foot with a flat instep. Even with the adjustable straps it did not fit well.

This is my first pair of Romikas. Since my husband shops Zappos for his running shoes and apparel, I checked this site first. I got the red to match a new handbag and I am very pleased with my purchase. The red is not fire engine, more desert red and a perfect match. The craftsmanship is what I had hoped for: classy, comfy and show offy. I usually team the sandal with my sleeveless denim jacket and a sleeveless dress and I can shop, meet friends, take in an art exhibit, you name it. The sandal works well in whatever setting I choose to wear it. I thought it was a little pricey at first but after 2 weeks of wear, I now feel I bought a great shoe! Five stars!

I have 3 pair of Romika Ibizas but I wanted a back strap sandal for a trip I was taking. I was thrilled to find the same shoe with the strap. It is so comfortable. The color is ideal as it goes with everything.

These sandals are like a hug for my feet! The kind you can wear all day! The little ovals have just a hint of a glimmer, enough embellishment to catch someone's eye without having too much bling. These are definitely my new go-to casual sandals for this summer!

I love these shoes. They fit true to size. I walked all day with no issues and they have good arch support. The color adds a nice touch instead of your usual plain brown leather sandals.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had on my feet. They are my go to shoes when I do not want my feet to hurt at all and if I'm on my feet traveling or shopping these are the shoes I always wear. I have Mephistos but they don't even compare for comfort. I also like Alegria better than Mephisto.

I recently wore these shoes for 2 weeks while touring Italy and Greece. One particular day, I walked 12 miles in these. They were amazing. No rubbing, no blisters, no foot pain at all. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and it never bothered me. Worth every penny!

This is the best pair of sandals I have ever had. I bought these because there are days when comfort is a must and they don't look too bulky on your feet. Love them.

Needed sandals for a wedding. I have to use an orthoditic and this sandal allowed me to take out the insole but it was just too big for me.Do not like when my heel goes one way and the shoe goes the opposite so my heel is not cradled tightly. I know I could tighten the straps but there is not enough velcro and then the straps hang too far out

Attractive sandal that looks classy with skirts and pants. Well made. I like the ornamentation. Runs a little long - I purchased the 39 and exchanged it for the 38. Usually I wear an 8 to 8.5 in sandals. Adjusts in 4 places, which is great for my hard-to-fit feet but the velcro doesn't always stay in place. Overall, a good purchase that I will wear a lot this spring and summer

I put these to the test on a trip to New Orleans and they served me well. They're not super stylish, but a serious walking trip requires compromises and in bronze they looked cute enough to wear with a casual dress. I walked in them for days, literally, on sand and cobblestone and found them comfortable and sturdy. It was nice to be able to adjust the straps as my feet swelled. Towards the end of the second long day of wear I did start having a little trouble -- one of the strap edges was cutting in a small spot and my arch started hurting (plantar fasciitis) -- but those are minor quibbles considering very few shoes that are at all cute hold up for that many miles. This is my first pair of Romikas and I will definitely buy them again. They run a little wide, fitting more like a C than a B which was perfect for me.

I have worn the Ibiza 20 for several years and it was discontinued. I have several issues with my feet and have been trying to find a replacement the Ibiza 20's. This shoe is so far the best replacement for my foot issues except every step I take I feel the rough Velcro on the bottom strap. I think it is a quality issue because I have these in another color from the department store near me and they are as soft as can be, so I am returning them. I had this problem with one of the Ibiza 20's and I used a emery board to fine it down and ended up scuffing the leather in the process. I don't feel like spending $120 and taking a chance on ruining them by having to file rough Velcro. Overall, I am giving it 3 stars.

I love everything about this shoe; I have a pair in Black which are my go-to sandal. However, beware. The color of the shoe you're seeing on the web page is not accurate. At least on my monitor, the shoe looked light bronzey/coppery while the shoe is actually a dark metallic. It was, frankly, hard to tell the difference between it and my black Romikas. That's the only reason I'm returning them . . . the color.

I wanted to really like these shoes, but they are sooo average-looking as to be ugly. I like a shoe that is super awesome-looking, and these did not fit the bill. I have now learned that sandals look sexier when there is a strip running down the front, like Alegria "Kleo," or my old Jambu "Coconut" sandals. Two cross straps on sandals that have a really boring sole, just don't work for me. I hated the sole. I don't like how it is slightly smaller than the shoe. I felt like an old lady with these on, and I'm not. Ugh.
