I adored these shoes so much that now it's time for me to purchase another pair of running shoes, I am returning to this same brand/style. I adore their moderate arch, it doesn't cause my flat feet any trouble and the width is perfect. They are true to size and just a fantastic all-around shoe.

I love these shoes. I have used the Gravity when it had the 4 lugs, but really like the feel of 5 lugs. I broke my foot a year ago and with these shoes I am able to work out pain free.

I was first introduced to Newton running shoes at a race expo. I've been running in them ever since. They provide a balanced feel. Their midsole platform support and spring-like response feels natural and comfortable.

My first Newtons and Wow! Inspired to splurge by a Zappos certificate, I am so glad I did! Newtons are a new level of running experience. Super light, but with a bit of "spring" from the pads they are the first shoe to effectively compete with my Nike Frees. Normally a 9 -1/2 in Nike, 9 in dress shoes, I ordered 8-1/2 in Newtons (based on other reviews) and they fit perfectly. Thanks Zappos!

I absolutely love these shoes. I was horrified at spending almost this much on running shoes, but I was fitted for these at a running store and they were highly recommended to me. I run about 20-25 miles a week and have high arches with wide feet and a neutral gait. These have a nice wide toe box so my wide bunion-ridden feet are happy in them! I feel like I'm flying when I run in these, they are so lightweight. I've already set a 5k PR in them, and that alone is worth the money. Now, for the "adaptation period" thing. It's not just a cute little suggestion. I'm sure I'm not the only person to do this, but I got my new shoes, got excited, and went out and did a tough 3 mile interval workout. My calves hurt so bad the next day I was cursing the shoes and I thought I had torn a calf muscle. (I hadn't). You need to break these in. I emailed a Newton rep for advice and she was super helpful and gave me exercises to do, etc. The main thing with Newtons is to just run like you normally would, don't try to land in a special way on the lugs or you'll be running on your toes, which leads to intense calf pain. Trust me. It took me about 2-3 weeks to break in my Newtons. What I would do is run 1-2 miles slowly, then come home, swap to my old shoes, and finish my run. It was annoying, but worth the effort. Now I can do a 5 mile run in the Newtons with no pain or problems, and I've had them for 3 weeks. I wear a size 10 shoe, size 10.5 in running shoes. I got these in a 10.5 and they fit great.

After trying out many different high end running shoes these won. I normally wear Brooks Glycerin but wanted more of a performance race type shoe for my triathlons. They are very lightweight, breathable and feel incredible. The minimalist drop on these is very comfortable and easy to get used to. The "lugs" feel funny for maybe one run then you don't notice that part of the shoes design. I tried "hokas" for their comfort, durability and for their design but they were just too wide. Very good for long distances but these Newtons are doing just fine for my longer training runs. I will be wearing these for at least the next 250-300 miles and will be buying another pair. I normally wear a 7 up and down with any brand but ordered a 6.5 and they fit awesome.

I read the reviews for these shoes, excellent, so I bought them. I am a runner, first time the ball of my feet were killing me, second, third, fourth, I gave them plenty of time to get used to. Nothing worked out. Also, they started ripping apart from the shoe laces holders. They weren't for me. Although I tried hard to love them, I wanted to keep them. Love the color, the simple look, and feel, in a world of, only, bulky shoes. But more cons than pros on it. What is the biggest fact here is that there is no better place, in the world, to shop than Zappos! I recommend Zappos with your eyes closed. Better customer service, fastest shipping. I can't tell more until you see for your own.
