These are really comfortable, and slightly more classy that Vans. I love the way that the white rubber is pre distressed, so that you don't look like a dork in your new shoes. The leather is soft but substantial. They are a bit snug on me at the widest part of my foot, but I'm pretty sure they'll give a bit with wear.

LOVE THESE! I was looking for some leather slip on sneakers and was so excited to see Frye had some. I always trust Frye's quality, style and sizing I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 typically, and always wear an 8 in Frye boots (I've got 5-6 pairs). I ordered these in an 8, and I could have gone down a half size since I have been wearing without socks. Despite being a little roomy, they are super comfortable, don't rub, and look great. I got the distressed grey color and they are perfect and neutral and I wear them with everything. I get compliments every time I wear them. Definitely worth a few extra bucks over other brands!

These shoes look and feel great however they do run big. I am between an 8 /12 and 9 and definitely had to go with an 8.

I like a wide toe space but this shoe felt large all over

I have been waiting for the size 8 to come and finally they arrived. Love Love Love these shoes. I wear a size 9 normally, took advice of reviews and went down just a 1/2 size, still too roomy. Wanted size 8, no luck, sold out. Finally Zappos got the size 8 in and they are a prefect fit. At first I was a little dismayed thinking too small, but wait, wear, they stretch out and fit perfectly. Go down a whole size and enjoy.

Love these shoes! Purchased both the brown and black. Super comfortable and I get lots of compliments on them. I normally wear an 8 1/2 or 9 in Frye, but sized down to an 8 in this style. They were a bit snug, but quickly relaxed to fit perfectly. Originally purchased from the frye website, but had to return because they were too big. Do yourself a favor and purchase from zappos. Frye makes wonderful shoes, but there customer service/website/returns is horrible- it took 3 weeks to receive a refund.

Saw these on a friend and loved them. Give these shoes a little break-in time and they fit like a glove. Based on other reviews I went down a 1/2 size, but had to return those for an even smaller size. I had to go down a full size. They were a bit snug around my toes, but after wearing them for a couple of weeks, they are now my "go-to" shoes. I've found that age and weight haven't been a friend to my feet, so I'm always looking for comfort and of course, I want style to go along with that. These shoes provide both my desires!They were a little over my price point, but worth it. I'm so glad that I decided to "buy the shoes!"

Very comfortable slip on sneaker that didn't need any break in period. I was able to wear them walking all over the zoo right out of the box. The leather is very soft and flexible. I am normally a 10 in Frye boots but sized down to a 9.5 for these. I wear them with thin no show sock so that's probably why. Very cute with jean shorts or capris.

I have a normal to wide foot. These shoes fit well since there is stretch on the side for a high instep. They are a bit casual, but so nice quality being Frye. I also purchased them in brown and red. Recommend.

Really like these. They look great with leggings and nicer in-person. I have Frye boots that can be too heavy and warm; these are nice leather but so comfortable.

I really like these shoes!! I bought them in black (Zappos) and also brown (6 PM). Zappos is great about reminding me to check 6 PM as well. These shoes are somewhat casual but not as distressed as I thought. I wear them constantly.

I don't know why I try other brands. These are so cute and comfortable. Worth every dollar spent. I followed recommendations and ordered a half size down. They fit perfectly. These will be my everyday go to shoe.

I bought a half size smaller of these Frye slips than the pair of Frye boots that I own, and I am glad I did. They fit great without socks and are very comfortable. I bought the cognac color and it's a little darker than I expected, but still very nice.

LOVE this shoe. Nice neutral color (cement)to go with everything. I'm between an 8 and 8 1/2 and the 8 fits perfectly. I also have a wide foot and it fits perfectly. The elastic band is not as constrictive as other shoes in this style. That being said, this might run large on some people.

I love this casual shoe, I originally ordered size 8 my true size, I returned for a size 7.5 fit perfect! Also no uncomfortable first time wearing, felt great.

I was looking for a black leather slip on, and this fit the bill perfectly. The leather is soft and distressed but it doesn't look overly worn. Took me a day to break it in - after that it's been a real comfort to walk around in. :)

I love this shoe! Although it took three pairs to find the right size, since it must run big. I ended up with a whole size smaller than normal. Other than that...I love the color "cement" which is a great neutral, and the style is super casual and comfortable.

So happy with these shoes!!! They are smooth, supple and comfy for the get-go. And yes, I followed the other suggestions and ordered one half size down and they're perfect.

Cute, comfortable, I took these out of the box and wore them for 12 straight hours - they rubbed on my heel just a little by the end of the day. Pretty amazing! Love the color, also.
