I really wanted this shoe. Unfortunately, as I believe some reviews mentioned, the heel is way too wide. This is not a combination last. Too bad, it was exactly what I was looking for, but, despite putting a heel grip in, I was still walking out of the shoe.

First of all, I couldn't change the comfort review after I mistakenly marked 5 stars. I loved the shoes and the front felt fine but the heels slipped off even with a pad in them. Very disappointed. I love Munro shoes when they fit but find that not all of them fit even though the size is the same.

I look at all the stars and then read the reviews, and there is a disconnect. This shoe does not work for a variety of reasons. It is cut a bit too high at the front and has no elastic, so if your foot swells at all after walking, this will cut into it. The heel has no support, so if you do not use a shoe horn, you will wear the back down, and this is why everyone says the heel is wide. Lastly, the shoe just feels squishy, and not in a good way. I kept one pair and am feeling buyers remorse. I thought I could make them work, and desperate for narrow shoes, but these are not the comfy shoe they look like.

I'm sorry I didn't return these shoes, but I kept trying to make them fit better and felt I'd worn them too long. They're attractive, and I wanted a dressy shoe for a change. I have a difficult size -- 11.5 N -- and these were long enough but the rest of the fit was bad. The toe box was too narrow, and the heels were way too loose. The middle gapped badly. I tried padding the heels, but that didn't work. Wish they had fit.

I really wanted these shoes to work, as they are exactly the style I was looking for to wear with casual summer skirts. Unfortunately, I have a wide forefoot and normal width heel, so I ordered the wide (D) width. The forefoot width is great, but the heel is way too wide so my foot slips out of the shoe. The shoe just won't stay on my foot. I tried ordering a medium width shoe and the heel was great but the forefoot was way too narrow. For the price, I would expect the shoe to fit correctly right out of the box, without having to buy heel grips or suffer with a crushed forefoot.

I really was disappointed no matter what size I tried they fell off my heels, I called Munro and they said send them back they have been having some problems. That's why I wear them it's a great company.

I have about eight pairs of Munro and have waited for shoes like these - classic cut with matte finish leather. For shoes worn with socks, I order 9N. For sandals and shoes without socks, 8½N works. Due to the open nature of this shoe, I ordered 8½S. The length was correct, the width worked, but my heels slipped out - unfortunately, making them unwearable.

The two shoes are not the same size. Munro quality is slipping and not worth the price. I used to like product but last few shoes I have returned due to poor quality.

I wanted to keep this ballet flat so I ordered two pair. Oh, they are so narrow even though I ordered the medium width. They feel like they have NO arch support. I am so disappointed! Navy is a nice color but the beige is more grey dull beige.

13N ordered and what I wear. Ventilated and not especially a geriatric style but slips off heal and foot bed/forefoot is strangely narrow. Imagine it would kill anyone with bunions or had surgery as rubs n hurts. Comfortable idea but Munro made some mistakes with this style. Anyone needing a narrow heel will need to go even narrower with this style.
