These shoes replaced a very old and beloved pair of ECCOs for my 4E left foot, and have done so very well. They're somewhat utilitarian in appearance as a dress shoe, but that's absolutely fine with me -- they class up my otherwise somewhat shabby appearance.

Very comfortable and good looking shoes. I spend equal parts of my day standing and sitting with quite a bit of walking in between. These shoes are comfortable to walk and stand in for extended periods of time. Rockport has always proven to be comfortable and long lasting in my experience. As far as the waterproof ability, I have worn them in the winter weather and my feet stay dry, but I have not actively looked for puddles to jump in.

I've had this shoe for just about a year, and I am out and about often for my job. For the amount of time I'm out this shoe held up very well. I actually just ordered another pair. They are pretty comfortable for spending a lot of time on your feet. The only criticism I have is that the brown shoe scuffs easily in the front and the laces untie somewhat frequent. You have to make a very tight knot.

These are great shoes as I have just bought my 4th pair over many years. I wear these every day for work. I appreciate the understated appearance where they look classy without looking too fashionable. They look great and are extremely comfortable once they are broken in. I'm giving them 4 stars because they do require a break in period. Each time I have bought these new, I have had a nasty blister on my heel within the first week. Band aids certainly help with this problem. Once broken in though they are the perfect dress shoe.

I am on my feet all day standing on a hard floor driveway of a hotel to be exact with these shoes which feel great on my feet. I have been wearing Rockport shoes for over 20 years now. You just cannot beat the comfort.

I've been buying rockport shoes for a long time now & that's what I recommend the most comfortable shoes you can find.

Having wide feet, it's hard to find (nonslip) work shoes that fit correctly and are even moderately comfortable. These shoes were wide enough (4E) and definitely comfortable. However after only a couple of months, the treads are totally worn off. This becomes a problem working in a restaurant if I walk on a slippery surface. I'm purchasing another pair just because they were so comfortable, but I hope the tread lasts longer than my first pair.

It's a very nice shoe but it's too tight in the toe box, need to return.

I wear a size 13 so I look for shoes that do not make my feet appear bigger even though they are. These shoes are kind of "bulky" looking like a boot. I was looking for more of a slimmer profile shoe. I returned these mainly because the heel is not comfortable at all. When I tried them out in my living room I immediately felt pain in my heel. It felt like I was walking barefoot on cement. I bought three dress shoes and the one that fit me right, looked good and was comfortable was Rockport Style Purpose Plaintoe ASIN: B01N26JA2O.

I bought pair of similar Rockport Editors, good, comfortable office wear. The uppers were still in good shape after a lot of miles, but both soles split straight across the ball of the foot. I bought these as replacements. They look great, fit OK, but are harder all around. After a few hours they felt better. The cheap laces don't want to stay tied. I'm hopeful, but the jurys still out on Rockport for me.

This shoe comes as advertised except not as comfortable and not very waterproof. They required a few days to break in and I required a thicker sock in the beginning due to the cuff being too abrasive at first. I also swapped out the orthodtic for a better one because they were a bit too roomy. Now they feel pretty good and look pretty good but I would favor the Rockport Margin for a similarly priced item next time or a DresSport which is about a little more. I have not worn a DresSport in years so I am only assuming they would be more comfortable but I really don't know this at press time.

These shoes are comfortable, and the size is accurate. The only negative thing that I have to say about these shoes is that the shoelaces are horrible. I end up having to tie my shoes at least three times a day because they do not hold.

Sorry to say, I am an A width in shoes - used to be a AA. Even though Rockport does offer a narrow in some of their shoes, they are probably a B width. This particular shoe is not narrow enough for my feet. Also, they need to come in half sizes for the long shoes - like 12 1/2. One shoe that was narrow enough was the World Tour Men's Classic - although, it was not comfortable.

These were replacement for my original brown shoes which leaked. The brown ones were extremely comfortable, these not so much. Doesn't make sense but that's my experience.

I bought these Rockports specifically because they were supposed to be waterproof. And they were...for about 2 months of winter wear. Then I stepped in a puddle 3 weeks ago and my foot came out completely soaked. Sure enough, they had sprung a leak. They don't make Rockports like they used to -- the pair I bought in high school in 2000 is still waterproof to this day. Other than that, the shoe has been satisfactory, but since that was whole point of my purchase...

I've been wearing Rockports for years. This is the first pair that has disappointed me. Just shy of four months wearing them, with sole only slightly worn, the waterproofing is gone. I think water came up through the sole which is pretty soft and shallow. It's not great fun walking with soaked feet.

I've worn Rockports for years. These have the same fit and comfort I would expect. (The one-star comfort rating refers to mental discomfort.) The laces do have a mild aerobic benefit, since you'll be bending over constantly to retie them. But the real surprise is the soles. They squeak like athletic shoes on a gym floor - too embarrassing to wear anywhere indoors, which is ironic for what is supposed to be a dress shoe for work. I may be ending my long relationship with Rockports.
