I was really hoping tat this would finally be the perfect bag that I was looking for, but alas, it had some issues that were big enough for me to return it. First of all, it was bigger than I anticipated, and I checked the measurements against my current bag. I was willing to deal with that, but the thing that really did not work was the front flap. It is huge and cumbersome, especially if you try to put anything in any of the several handy looking pockets. I thought I could even deal with that by leaving it empty and putting my stuff in the other pockets in the bag, but then the flap stuck out in such a way as to make it impossible to use the magnetic closures, and it looked weird and bulky besides. That is such a shame, since all the pockets really are what I was looking for in a bag.

Love this new bag I purchased for an upcoming Maui vacation! It's perfect for what I'll need to organize travel essentials during the flight, and for toting around with me on my island adventures. The overall size couldn't be better for my needs, with many different sized pockets and zippered sections to keep everything secure and easily accessible. I also like the outer flap, called heavy and unwieldy by some other reviewers, because it stays in place with self-targeting magnets when I need it there to keep the outer pocket items secure. The inner, tab-closed pocket handle my charge cord & mini iPad perfectly. Although the strap is a bit too long for just slinging over my shoulder (5'5" tall), and I don't usually like to go cross-body, I easily remedied this by tying a simple loop knot to shorten the strap length. The gray colored bag with turquoise blue lining is a beautiful color combination that will be a great accent for my tropical wardrobe. Feels great at home also, and seems to complement my regular casual styles when dashing around town on errands and such. So glad I ordered this Haiku Wander bag from Zappos as I received it seemingly overnight!

Room for everything! No need to dig for lost items, bag has many compartments to help keep you organized. Only "complaint" is I wish the I could shorten the strap more for shoulder carry; works great for cross chest carry or backpack.

I bought this bag because I travel a lot. I need something that is good in dust & rain, on planes and on outdoor cafe tables. I was attracted to the multiple pockets and zippered compartments. So far I have taken it to the mountains and back to the desert. I am very happy with its durability, the way the material looks good after I brush it off, and the capacity it has to hold all that I need to carry when I travel for a day or an international plane ride. Basically, I got what I wanted. Good price for it, too.

I'm one of those women that value function over style and I have to have things organized. I wasn't entirely sure that I would like this bag when I ordered it, but it soon became my favorite bag. On the outside it has a zip pocket on the flap, one of the back, & one side pocket and an organizer under the flap. Inside is a tablet pocket with a simple Velcro strap to hold it closed, a larger zip pocket, a small water bottle pouch, & a key pocket with a tether. I was sold on the bag because of the option of wearing it cross-body or as a backpack, that is not shown in these pictures. The only thing I don't like about this bag is that the strap is much too long for my 5'1 frame, even at it's smallest cross body setting. I contacted Haiku directly to see about purchasing a different strap, but they didn't have any to sell. A trip to the hardware store for a quick link allowed me to fold it in half without ruining the backpack option... problem solved. I'm definitely looking to purchase other Haiku bags in the future.

Love it, love it, love it!!! The Wander bag is like the Haiku To Go Bag 2 but on steroids!! A tad smaller but totally worth the upgrades! The zip pocket on the side of the bag is now large enough to hold an iPhone 5 in an Otterbox comfortable where before it was quite a snug fit. The organizing pockets just under the flap are such a great idea and the perfect sizes for anything I can imagine wanting to access on the fly. There's even a small ID size slot inside the bag. I love the versatility and options for the carrying strap. If I HAD to come up with a negative it would be that the color of the strap fort he coral feather print is a bit more red than I'd anticipated but still beautiful nonetheless. Totally worth the money but I wish it was a tad bit less expensive because I want another in a different color. Nice job, Haiku, nice job indeed.

This is a fabulous bag! The grey color is very flattering and the inside blue detailing is beautiful. It's very well made, you'd never know it was made from recycled bottles. It's very comfortable to wear on the shoulder, cross-body, or as a backpack. I enjoy that I am still finding all of the hidden pockets. You can downsize a large bag into this one very easily. I can see it being great for traveling as everything is easily accessible. Zippered pockets aide in my comfort that my gear is secure. My only cons would be that animal hair seems to stick to the fabric. Also the strap is slippery and it twists around quite a bit whenever I take it on or off. I spend some time untwisting it before it sits flat across my body.

This bag is light and very durable and sturdy. It does not lose its shape at all. It has a lot of pockets to hold just about everything. I get tons of compliments on how cute it is and it is great for over the shoulder and cross body and back pack style, although I don't wear it like that. I love the tablet pocket - my iPad mini fits in it perfectly. There is a space for my phone, my pens, makeup, everything. The only issue I have is that the strap adjustment buckle is maybe too slippery. I wish it was just a bit more snug.

Nice bag. However, it needs to have more room on the inside. Love all of the pockets. Just wish it could hold more. :(

I love Haiku bags because they have a pocket for my every need, some of them zipped so I can tuck everything in securely. There were a lot of things going against the Haiku, however. One was the flap front. It looks heavy and feels too formidable to flip open. If not for the flap pocket, this bag would have been a definite "no" for me. My other problem was that the backpack option does not work properly for me. The straps weren't laying out as a backpack strap should, this part should be reworked. Also, what's with the psychedelic colors? The gray was the only one I could work with. The pockets are the only reason I got this bag, but if Haiku comes up with a better design, and the price is still as reasonable, I will consider it.

I love the idea of a shoulder bag that converts to a backpack, and I really wanted to like this bag. I was especially happy about the internal divider (useful for toting an e-reader or iPad, but also useful for general organization).
But when it arrived I found that it was just way too small for my needs. It's surprisingly heavy, too. The messenger-bag-style flap adds both weight and bulk—and it's a pain to have to move it out of the way to access the main compartment.
The bag is well made and has some nice style features. If Haiku ever redesigns it to be a bit larger and eliminates the flap, I'll definitely give it a second look. Until then, this one's going back to Zappos.

I really wanted to like this bag, but two things stuck out. As other users have said it's actually a little on the small side, especially for carrying an iPad sized tablet. Also, the effort to convert from crossbody to backpack was pretty substantial, and one of the clips was quite hard to undo. I wanted to love it! We didn't make it.
