I bought my pair for a holiday in Rhodes, and I couldn`t be more pleased with my desision. Last sixteen years I had A pair of Randolph Aviators and I thought I`d never find anything as good but these Ho'okipas will let my Randolphs retire at last!

I have owned for three years now own 10 pairs of oakleys these glasses are far superior I am now a mau jim fan thanks for the awesome glasses like your not even wearing the glasses

For driving, biking and walking these sunglasses are light and a great fit not to mention the price is affordable.

I purchased my first pair of Maui Jims 2 years ago and have never had a problem. They still look and feel like new! Last week I purchased the rose colored Ho'okipas and love them too!! My husband has two pairs of Maui Jims as well. No other brand for this family. :)

This is my first pair of Maui Jim's and I just got them yesterday. I can't comment on their durability, but I can give you my initial impression. I bought the Ho'okipa with the rose lenses. First of all, they are really lightweight which I love. The nose and temple pads actually grip so they don't slip off your nose. I've been wearing some Oakley Gascans where I had to push them up all the time. I'm a fan of the look and the light weight, but the best thing about these sunglasses are the lenses. The contrast and clarity is amazing. Really, you'll notice the difference. I've got 20/20 vision, but I swear these actually make things appear sharper!! Kudos to Maui Jim for obviously placing as much importance on optics as you do on style. I'm a fan!

Bought one year ago, I broke them by sitting on :-/ 2 days after (today), I habe bought a new pair, same model :-) On a boat, while driving a car, or skiing, you will be happy, and proud to have those sunglasses. Really light, and a unique view quality, this a the best model I got.

The most I've ever spent on sunglasses, but they are awesome. They look great, feel great and the readers make things so easy. They're good for reading texts or other things without having to switch glasses. Good for driving, fishing and stylish enough for special occasions too.

Truly. I have these as prescription Maui Jims and I wear them everyday. I hardly ever wear my contact lenses anymore and theses glasses correct my vision so much better than lenses. I plan to get another pair cause when they broke once while on vacation I realized how much I needed them. Really light weight.

I've had my glasses for almost 2 years and had an issue with the lense and they fixed it no questions asked,with total turn around in less than 10 days.Not to mention they are very comfortable and light.

The tiltle says it all.. I've had two pairs of these over the past five years, and the overall quality can't be beat. They're so light you don't really "feel" that you're wearing them, and the overall clarity of vision is something that you just have to see for yourself. After four years of various drops, scrapes, and other mishaps that would have destroyed most pairs of shades, the lenses on my first pair still don't have a scratch on them. The frame finally snapped recently when they accidentally got crunched under a heavy bag in airport security. When I got in touch with customer service, they responded in less than an hour, and they'll be repaired for me soon. Although I love the look/image quality from the Neutral Grey lenses, I decided to pick up a second pair yesterday in HCL bronze. I'm equally impressed with them, and would highly recommend these to anybody! Unlike some other brands where you're basically paying for a name, you truly do get what you pay for with Maui Jim's.

I bought these a week ago while on Maui to better see the whales in the water they did not disappoint glare from water reduced to almost none and could see so much more I love, love,love my new Maui Jim's

Love the sun glasses... Was a big ray ban fan, these are much better in my opinion as they are much lighter and stay on while being active. Never worry about sliding off plus they look amazing. Well done MJ.

I've had my Ho'okipa's for 3 years and love them.I've dropped them numerous times times,sat on them and lost them in the snow for 2 days and they still look good as new.These glasses are great in the sun and when driving in the rain they actually give a little clarity through the haze.I recommend these sunglasses to anybody.

I'm a Costa del mar lover but a friend of mine told me to try the Maui Jims so I did and got the Ho'okipa and I'm now a Maui Jim Lover. They are great sunglasses..Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to everyone..Maui Jim keep on doing what your doing!!!

I would have given the glasses 5 stars, but this pair is exactly like my older ones just more frail. I dont know if your trying to save money or what but I prefer the thickness/sturdiness of my older pair. They are working sunglasses for me! Also wish you made these to fit womens faces better. These are a little large.

I am a woman, have a petite face & head & would have preferred that the temples were shorter & not so long. The temples stick out of my head,pass my ears to much, often causing the Glasses to be pushed out.

My Maui Jim's broke after 6 years and I loved them!

I loved them so much that I bought another pair to find the name is Asian Fit not Universal Fit. The salesperson told me it was the same thing. Unfortunately, the fit was different. The nose piece was too wide and did not fit my "Asian" face the way my first pair did. I tried to have the nose piece adjusted at 2 different authorized dealers with no luck. It was too late to return it to the store. I even spoke to the online associate and they insisted that they were the same glasses as before. I recently lost my original pair and now desperate for my Ho'okipa sunglasses to fit properly. They are great sunglasses! Can I get an answer to having my second pair fit me properly?

These shades are definitely made for those sunny days. Very comfortable and sleek. I've been looking for a pair of red lens quality shades for awhile. My only knock and it's a small knock is I wish they were a tad bit redder, but overall great shades.

Great sunglasses, however very pricey...too pricey.

They are a great product. Based on the picture on the website, I thought the lens were completely blue. Only when you move the frame do they appear blue in the reflection.

I've owned two pairs of the MJ rimless Lighthouse, and they were fantastic for about a year each until some mildly rough handling led to each snapping at the bridge. I purchased the Ho'okipas specifically because they are similar in style to the Lighthouse, but have a more robust frame that spans across both lenses. So far, I'm very pleased with the build quality and visual clarity; Maui Jim's are consistently excellent in this regard (and you do pay for it). My only real concern with the Ho'okipas is with the nosepads. Unlike the Lighthouse style, the nosepad stems are integral to the bridge assembly, which makes them virtually impossible to adjust.
