Not what I expected! Judging by the picture, I assumed they were a hard plastic. On the contrary, they're very flexible and soft. I'm so pleased with this sandal! Cute, stylish and unique! I want them in all colors!

These really do smell nice, so odd. I love these flip flops as I am a flip flop addict during the summer months. They are extremely comfortable (even running around the streets of NYC) and the design is eye catching and makes me happy every time I look down. Mel by Melissa just might be my go to for flip flops from now on. And of course Zappos shipping rocks!

Purchased these in 2 color ways for myself (coral and natural). And black for a friend. These are well made and soooo cute. Highly suggest as makes people smile too. Great novelty sandal Only reason gave comfort a 4 is lack of cushioning. Very flexible material yet not good to walk long because no cushioning. Prefer Havaianas for that as cushioning stays "cushy" For a long time.

I previously had a pair of Mel by Melissa flip flops that my new pup chewed up, so I already knew the quality would be great. I saw these and had to order them! They were everything that I expected, I'm totally satisfied! I love them! I ordered the pink ones. They fit great, sturdy, everything you look for in a flip flop, and the "Love" design is awesome!

Wow, these sandals actually do... smell good? They smell like that hot pink hand soap you use at the nail salon. Beyond that, what an adorable pair of flippers. Sturdy and easy to clean, I'm a fan!

I love these shoes. They are comfortable for a flip flop and I am impressed with the PVC material used to make them. I will be buying more of the Mel by Melissa shoes in the future. Oh, and they do smell delicious!! It's amaze balls!

Yuck. I ordered these shoes because they are cute but they stink! If you are allergic at all to scents, don't order these shoes. I have had them sitting in the garage for almost a year (never worn). I still can't get rid of the smell. I tried vinegar and water, soap and water, and baking soda and water. They still smell horribly sickening sweet. In fact, a friend came over and was close to the closed garage door (the shoes were on the other side) and he said, "What is that awful smell?" I kept them because of the cute factor but I'm wondering if the smell will ever fade enough to wear them.
