I was hesitant to order this as a wedding dress and figured it wouldn't work out. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it fit; though I will need alterations, they're minor. A sash will definitely class this dress up enough for a more laid back wedding. As another reviewer mentioned, the sequins can cause discomfort on the underside of your arms, but the rest if the dress is super comfortable. Very happy with my purchase! :)

I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this dress. I have never felt so beautiful as when I wore this gown at my son's wedding last week. I knew when I saw it online, that it was the dress for me. It was perfect. I fit like a dream, not itchy, which I thought might happen with all the sequins, but it was amazingly comfortable. I had my tailor bustle the train, and I couldn't have found a better dress for me for this wonderful occasion.

I am contemplating this dress for my son's wedding. Very beautiful and well made. Really like the little train that can be bustled for after the ceremony. I am usually a 2 or 4. In this dress the bodice lies nicer on me in the 4.

I am going to be married in this dress. Can't believe I found it at Zappos. Tried it on in a wedding dress store and the sample was way too big. Ordered smaller sizes from Zappos until I found the right fit. It runs really big--go down a size if you're not sure. It also runs really long. I'm wearing it with 5 inch heels and it still touches the ground. I'm 5'3" and about 125. Usually wear a 4 in dresses but kept the 2 in this one. Thanks goodness for easy returns to Zappos!!!

Definitely recommended for brides who are looking for a simple unfussy dress that is still formal enough for the occasion. I wore this for my outdoor garden wedding and the sheer overlay and slight train bumped everything up a notch - I got tons of compliments. It was also easy to get on and off with full makeup and hair, as it zips in the back and you can step into it, rather than having to pull it over your head. Finally, it photographs very well, and does not at all look cheap - the price is an absolute steal. I also got a kick out of telling people that I ordered my dress from Zappos two weeks before my wedding! The only slight downside is that the sequins/beading (which aren't super-shiny, but rather add texture to the dress - a plus in my book) were a little scratchy along the inside of my upper arm. Also, I am 5'8" and with heeled sandals this was the perfect length for me, but it may be a bit long if you are shorter.

What a fun dress! It's covered in sequins, it is forgiving on that extra 5 pounds due to the stretchy material, and it's classy. This is great for a New Years Party. I really want to wear it more than once though - maybe I can make a halloween costume out of it somehow.

Reviewing this for my 50 year old mom, who tried this for a MOH gown for my sister's upcoming wedding. It looks stunning on! Normally not a fan of all over beading or embellishment but this dress is made well and is flattering. Very sophisticated, and I think it could be worn at any age. She ended up going for something else, but this one was a pleasant surprise!

I purchased this dress for my small winter wedding ceremony and it is absolutely beautiful! I cannot wait to wear it. I am 5'2" and it was very long on me, even with 4" heels...nothing a tailor can't fix. I typically wear a dress size 4, and ordered this one in a 6 and it fit perfectly. That size was more form-fitting, which was perfect for me. I would suggest getting a size up if you would rather something less clingy. Overall I would recommend this dress...it is classy & elegant. It looks so much more expensive than it actually is - which is also a plus!

This is a beautiful gown. It is very flattering and hid my flaws but it just was not the right one for my event. The sequin/decoration is great, very modern.

This dress is even more gorgeous in person. I tied a long ivory ribbon around the waist and used this as my wedding dress! I'm so glad I found it! It hangs beautifully and is very comfortable.

Love this dress! I'm 5'6 about 150lbs and the 12 was a little tight and short, but the size 14 fits perfectly! I may buy a belt or sash for it but could wear it without too. Even comes with extra sequins to replace damaged ones if needed. It would make a great wedding dress too!

This is such a beautiful dress but the item I received had no tags and smelled terribly of body odor. What a disappointment!
