I don't usually write reviews, but I thought it would be helpful to share that the colors do not fit in the same way. I purchased platinum and midnight in size 4. I am usually a 2 or 4, depending on brand and fit, and the size chart for this brand suggested 4. The platinum was so big around the waist that I almost did not bother trying on the blue. The blue was much more fitted and flattering on me. I also thought the quality looked better in blue. I bought a green dress from this brand in a different style, also in a 4, and I found that dress to fit somewhere in between these. So, I think the brand sizing may be generally inconsistent and recommend buying a couple sizes to see which is best for you.

This is a beautiful, stunning dress, and sold out at most stores I checked. That being said, I had to return it because it's so long. Granted I'm a petite, so it was wishful thinking to order it. If you're a Petite I'd steer clear, unless you're willing to get it altered.

This gown is beautiful and comfortable and the 4 fit true to size…however, at 5'5" in my highest heel, it was still far too long and I don't have time to get it hemmed for my event.

I was really impressed with the color, and the gown is beautiful with all the beading and sequins. However the dress is heavier than I anticipated, but since the wedding is in September, I'm hoping it will be okay. The sizing is pretty much true to size. I just can't wait to see my daughter wearing this gown in her twin sisters wedding. Thank you!!

Love the beading! It's elegant and beautiful without looking gaudy or cheap. Like another reviewer said, the color is darker than in the picture...a perfect slate. The fit is true to size and the length is exact for me (I'm 5'8" and will be wearing a 3" heel). I could not be happier with this dress!

The dress was beautiful, but a much darker color than in the photo. This is the platinum one that I got, and I had to look back and forth between the platinum and the slate about 4 times to try and figure out if I was sent the wrong one.

This dress looked and made me feel amazing! I wore it to a company awards dinner -- even though I didn't win anything, it sure as heck felt like I did! I've never received so many compliments from so many men and women; my colleagues were still talking about my dress a week later! It was worth every penny spent on this dress, including the last minute hemming at the local dry cleaners.

This dress was nicer than I thought it would be. And it's more comfortable. It's heavy due to the sequins but nicely so. The design is flattering and highlights just the right amount of curve.

Unfortunately, I was sent a completely different dress. Different design and color.

The dress is beautiful, but sadly it does t fit well on the upper part of the shoulders. I did tried different sizes but the design is just not comfortable. It won't let you raise your arms and it hurts when you do.

I have a large bust 38D and the chest was baggy and unflattering. What a shame it is not cut well. The beading and design overall is stunning.
