First, this dress is not the color pictured. I would describe it as a beige or cappuccino color, not the ivory color I expected. As for the fit, normally I wear a size 2, but the size 4 fit pretty well so I would say it runs small. I ended up returning the dress because overall it wasn't a flattering look on me. I am 5'4", whereas the model is 5'9". The dress hit me below the knees and just looked frumpy. With the lace detail I think altering the length would be difficult.

I am a pear shape (small on top, larger on bottom) 5'8" 144lbs. I ordered a size 6 and it is absolutely beautiful. The only thing is, the slip doesn't have any "give" so it's not easy to sit down but the dress is so classic and beautiful that I am still keeping if for my rehearsal dinner! I just need to be careful sitting! FYI the champagne color is more like biscotti or almond - def not off white like the picture.

Beautiful, but my daughter is pear shape & she did not feel comfortable in it. True to size though. Lovely dress.

Blown away at Zappos customer service! I? ordered this dress on the 9th in two sizes for my wedding ceremony and they didn’t arrive in time they were sorted wrong at the shipping facility by mistake and ended up in Illinois ...so I? emailed customer service, they immediately refunded me for the dresses and also gave me a store credit they told me to keep or donate the dresses when\ if they arrive.. and then to top it off they sent me flowers for a wedding gift.. I? couldn’t believe it when the lovely bouquet arrived today! I? haven’t received the dresses yet but will def be a loyal Zappos customer! Way to make it right Zappos!

I bought this dress in charcoal because I had planned to wear it to a summer wedding. It is gorgeous but heavy and it was over 100 degrees so I decided to wear something else. I'm glad I did because the mother of the bride had the exact same dress in beige and I would have embarrassed us both. That said, she looked amazing and received many compliments all evening long. Although glamorous,unfortunately I will be returning this dress

I bought this dress in the navy and champagne for weddings this year. The navy looked black in my bedroom, but once in better light it was clearly navy. The champagne was a lovely color too, but the hubby preferred the navy so I kept that one. I am about 5' 6", 120-125 lbs, small chested, mother of 3 and the size 4 fit great. Pretty and comfortable!

I absolutely loved this dress. I wore it as a bridesmaid and got a ton of compliments. It fit like a glove. My one compliant would be that the dress below the lace overlay came a little low. I went braless and was sometimes afraid of a nip slip while dancing!

This dress is exactly what it looks like! I bought this to wear in my best friends wedding. The sizing runs a little small. But it is beautiful! I ordered on a Tuesday afternoon, and received the following day, Wednesday around noon! I could not believe it! Less than 24 hours! I can't think of another company that can deliver such great customer service, and such fast shipping! Zappos rocks!

I love this dress. I wore it in a wedding and got a ton of compliments on it. The size 6 fit great, and I'm normally a size 6, occasionally a size 4. I have a semi-straight build and it just fit perfect. Seems to be high quality.

The color is TAN, not a cream or light color I imagined.

I bought this dress in charcoal to use as my bridesmaid's dress in my sister's wedding. It was fairly comfortable, and is really beautiful. I receive compliments whenever I wear it. That said, the only issues I've had are that the fabric has no give whatsoever, so if it's fitted while standing, it can be difficult to dance, or sit, or do other more mobile things (it's great for standing). I also had one of the straps of the interior sheath pop out when I was wearing it, but thankfully a tailor was able to fix that with little difficulty.

This is one of the prettier lace dresses I have seen and tried on. Not too old fashioned looking, and very elegant. It fit perfectly on my 5" 4" frame in a size 4. The color is an appealing yellow gold, not too garish. Since that tone was just not quite right on me, I had to return, but I really liked the dress.

Beautiful dress. The liner requires no undergarment. I am 5' 8", 140 lbs 34B, and a size 8 fit perfectly. I need a dress for a wedding and it's a bit too fitted for a night of dancing.

Loved it but beware it's not the color pictures. Much much darker than it looks.

I wish I could have kept this dress. The garment is gorgeous but it's quite stiff and due to the thickness is very unforgiving on the silhouette. The dress is quite warm because it's actually a satiny dress sewn into a lace overlay. The dress ran small so if I had wanted to keep it I would have had to keep the next larger size. I wear a size 14 in New York & Company but this size 16 in this dress barely fit.

I ordered and it had such an odor to it that my whole house smelled. Not sure cleaning it would make a difference.

Cute dress. I really wanted to love it but the lining is very tight and has no give. The dress would be perfect otherwise. I'm not sure if going up a size will help, I don't have time to try so I'll just have to make a return.

I loved this dress when looking on the site. When I got it, the color is more like black, less like navy than I wanted. My bf said I look like I was going to a funeral. Material was nice. Had the support without having to wear a strapless. Maybe in a different color. Sadly, this went back. I wanted it for a late September wedding.

The lace is so thick that it hits the hip area in a weird way and bulges out. Color is gorgeous and lace is really beautiful though. It looks great on the model.
