After reading all the reviews, I have come to a conclusion. Not everyone can wear this sandal. I say , try them out first- they may or may not change your life. I am in love with them.... they are the only sandals I buy and have put several styles through the ringer. Let just say, there is not enough room on this page to write about everything I like about these particular style of sandals. This is my second pair and no regrets.

Bought these for my wife. She has a very high arch, PF and a bone spur. She has been wearing them around for a week or so now and says they are comfortable. They give her much more support than any other sandal. Vionic makes great products for people with high arches, PF, etc.

I struggle with plantar in the summer from wearing flip flops. I purchased these Vionics and I can honestly say it has actually helped my plantar not hurt it. I am a believer. Also when I ordered my shoes I received a size 6 in an 8 box. I called Zappos and they were wonderful on the return. They overnight the new pair and told me to donate the other pair since they would not have a box to match. I was astonished considering the cost of these shoes. It was fun giving the shoes away thanks to Zappos. #customerforlife

My feet were sore and podiatrist recommended vionic shoes and I LOVE LOVE them! I get the wave and will never wear regular flip flops again! I walk taller and my feet never hurt! I had plantar fasciitis due to poor support and did surgery on one foot. These are well worth every penny. Bought a pair for my daughter she had sore foot and it went away and now she too is a fan!

I bought these and thought i might have to break them in. NOPE. They are so comfortable and well designed; you can wear them right out of the box without having blisters or any kind, or discomfort.
I was unsure which size to buy, because depending on the shoe, I wear a 6 to 7. I ordered the 7 and they are a little big for me. I should have printed off any materieals offfered to help me size my foot.
Super soft soles, and amazing arch support! These are the only shoes I want to wear this summer.
I will buy this brand again.

i have not worn a between toe style sandal for years so i was skeptical regarding comfort and fit. To my surprise the shoe was very comfortable. The Vionics insole design is outstanding in fit and conformity to the soles of my feet. The arch and heal design are unique and achieve Podiatrist inspired goals of foot alignment for proper walking orthopedically. This sandal receives a thumbs up.

I had multiple surgeries on my left foot (I was flat footed) and my doctor recommended VIONIC footwear (if I wasn't wearing shoes with custom orthotics.)
These sandals are AWESOME!
I wear them all the time around the house and will be purchasing another pair for outside the house.
I have been wearing these for a week and they are far and away better than other sandals/slip-ons/slides that I have worn since before and after surgery.
These are very comfortable.
The straps are just tight enough and after wearing them for a bit, I can see that the foot bed is conforming to my foot and body weight. This means that the heel cup is deepening and I can already tell that the sandals are slipping less and less as I wear them.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The arch support is outstanding. Personally, I think I'd like the straps to be a bit tighter to prevent slippage. When I started wearing them, the strap chafed a bit one one foot (where it crosses from between my toes to over the foot), so I used a Band-Aid(TM) for the first couple days until it was broken in.

Have rheumatoid and osteoarthritis in ankles, knees and hips. Have invested in other vionic shoes along with ryka and fit flops and have not gotten the same relief that the vionic tide and wave offer. I have average wide feet and this unisex wave fits even better than the regular tide or tide two. Straps fit just a tad bit looser (comfortably) which is great when feet swell. That said, would love thinner straps for a bit more femininity.

I've had my pair of these for a couple of years now and they are amazing. They are really the only flip flops I wear anymore. I had just about given up on flip flops with my flat feet but these were a life saver - they are so supportive for flat painful arches. They have also held up great and I've worn them just about everywhere in just about every type of weather. I'll definitely be getting them in other colors at some point.

About six months ago I started having the knife-like pain that accompanies plantar fasciitis especially in the morning when getting out of bed. It was progressing rapidly and I tried al kinds of drug-store brand inserts in my quality work out and casual shoes. Nothing seemed to be helping though.On the recommendation of Vionic users from an online website I frequent I purchased these sandals to wear around my home on my hardwood floors. The relief was quick. Within a couple of days of regular wear at home the pain in my feet was gone! It's been four months now and I continue to be free from any plantar fasciitis pain. I have since purchased Vionic shoes to wear on my treadmill some sandals that feel great but won't get much use until the weather gets warmer and Vionic inserts to wear in my work shoes (where I spend up to nine hours on my feet per shift). I'm so happy with my Vionic purchases and how good my feet feel now and am sure to be a life-long customer.

The second I put them on i felt the great arch support. No more pronantion. I recently got diagnoaed with posterior tibialis tendonitis(sp?) and I have flatish feet. I am getting better after a few weeks.This is my first pair. Im thinking using these for the shower and getting another pair to use around the house. I just might buy a few backup pairs. Finally I can wear a comfortable sandal that looks good and make my feet feel wonderful! Worth every penny!
