I love these flip flops, They are on the casual side. Very comfortable, from the start I could wear them all day long.

I have been wearing these for a few years, almost daily, and I can't be tempted to change. Best arch support I've found, and in a comfortable, presentable form. Cost is offset by the fact that they last - and perform - forever. I can wear them for a full day of working on my feet, walking and standing.

I have really flat feet and these scandals are great because it gives me the support needed to not experience pain in my knees or feet. I love how sturdy they are; some may not find it appealing but for me it works.

These sandals are the it ones, awesome arch support and all the heel structure as Vionic is well known for. I have 2 pairs of these and have found them to both be very dependable and tough. I have had them for 3+ years and they are still as good as new.

It took a little getting used to the arch support, but once I got used to it I realized my feet didn't hurt when I wore these. Great support, and I'm surprised I haven't worn these flip flops out already - they are my go-to flip flops!

I already had these in the khaki color, so I ordered both black and brown. If they were offered in other colors, I would get them, too. I've had plantar fasciitis for years, so these are perfect flip flops for me. They are as I expected in fit, comfort and support. I live in flip flops in the summer, and these can get wet with no problem. Perfect for the beach, the pool or on a snorkeling boat or catamaran.

Probably because they are unisex, the straps are too loose and the shoe falls off when i walk

I have flat feet & wear prescription orthotics in my shoes & sneakers. These sandals have enough built in arch that they make it possible for me to actually wear a sandal. They aren’t the most stylish but are fine for everyday use.

This is my second pair of these exact flip flops. My arches need support all of the time, and these flip flops are perfect. I also have really wide feet and these shoes are wide enough, too. I basically wear these shoes all summer long, from the moment I wake up until I go to bed. I love them!

Repeat customer here on these sandals! I buy and wear them until they wear out and then rebuy. I have plantar fasciitis and have to wear a shoe at all times. I have a pair that I wear constantly in the house, as well as the brown and black for warm weather. They last and my wife is happy with the look. I think I've been buying and wearing this brand of sandal for a good 12 years!

The best thing about these sandals is the excellent arch support. Having had PF and PTTD, where a tendon transfer was needed, I can slip these on and not worry about arch supports, if I am at the pool or need to put on something in a hurry. These have held up nicely and don't break down. These are the best sandals Ive ever had with built in support.

I really like the style. I had to return them because they are just too wide for my foot.

The footbed fit fine, but the straps were very big / wide - more like for a man's foot I think. I am not sure ordering a size smaller would help. I was disappointed because it's very to find 'basic' plastic flip flops with good arch support.

These were suggested by my podiatrist to ease excruciating ligament pain on outside of my feet, from toes to heel. When I first tried them, they felt very stiff and floppy. After a few days, they felt good, still a bit floppy, and they also feel a bit large. The excellent news is that my foot pain is gone! So, they do what I needed and I’d buy them again. I have a narrow heel and high arches, and these are unisex fit, so to me, that explains the floppiness. I certainly cannot go back to any “flat” versions like BodyGlove or the standard flats, but I have not tried any other “arch support” products like these.

I loved these shoes and wanted them to fit, but MUCH too wide, made for men’s feet maybe? I usually wear a 5 or 6 in sandals, since the smallest available were 6, I ordered hoping they would work. I love Vionic shoes, my first try at sandals. Please design for women’s feet.

Because of foot pronation I can not wear just any shoe. Surgery is in my near future This shoe provides the support I need right now. It i s a simple, basic and an everyday shoe I wear in warmer weather.

I love these, except that when my feet sweat a little they squeak and then I get blisters! They are so comfortable otherwise.

These sandals have a nice high arch support, which is what I needed, but they must be made for a wide foot. The straps immediately felt much looser than any other flip-flops I've tried on, so I had to return.

So, I just want to post the review to hopefully expose a big problem I've seen with the Vionic Wave Sandal. I've owned a pair for a couple years, and loved them. They wore out and I would like another pair. Every pair I've bought (and bought from Amazon as well as Zappos), has not been the size I ordered. There is a sticker on the box that say's it is one size, which doesn't match what is printed on the sandal. When trying them on, none are the same size as the sandals I am replacing. I wonder if there was a manufacturing mixup, but I am very unhappy that I can't get a properly sized sandal. I've given up for now and hope by spring they will have fixed this issue. It is very disappointing.

I ordered my usual size (10), but it's was too long in the foot bed and the straps were too loose to keep it on my foot. It isn't as stylish as I had hoped, either. I'm returning it.

First time trying VIONIC shoes, needed for the support and bunions. This shoe bed fit nicely, but the straps were way to big. Like for a man's thicker foot. They would work well for women with swollen feet, but not for your average 8.5 women's foot. Have to return and try maybe another style.

I have bought several pairs in past years of the Vionic Wave, and been happy with the arch support. I bought this pair last year. I read in some reviews that the straps of the upper, which are not adjustable, were loser than in models past, and that this may be because it is no longer a ladies' shoe, but a unisex shoe. But I ordered them anyway. When I got them, I could tell that they were looser than in the past, but this was just a casual shoe, and I thought it was no big deal. It was a big deal. I kept tripping in them. They were little trips, so I discounted it. Then I had two falls that involved injury. When I thought about it, I realized that the looser upper meant that when my foot was off the ground, the shoe was hanging farther down from my feet. So it caught on things like the edges of stairs and ridges in pavement. I've had enough of falling. These shoes are gone. It was a poor decision to make these shoes unisex. Unless you have a more puffy foot (mine are completely average in that dimension), I would stay completely away from these shoes. They are dangerous.

If you read the reviews on Zappos and some other sites you would think these were "miracle shoes". I bought in to the "hype", and I regret it. These are unisex shoes, that I feel would look much better on a man. There is nothing feminine or flattering about them. I also felt like they were heavy/bulky. And if you don't need the extra arch support or do not require help with pronation, do NOT go for these! Reviews can make a product seem like it is wonderful for everyone. Truth is, these shoes are made for a particular foot type. I did not need the extreme arch support, but since they were recommended for pregnant women (on a few independent, parenting sites) I took a chance. I wore them, little by little, for several weeks, and they ended up causing great foot discomfort which turned into actual pain in my feet and then to my back. Since I had worn them outdoors I could no longer return to Zappos. I reached out to Vionic for help in returning. Thankfully they are allowing me to return the sandals to them for a refund, but that entails cutting the straps off both shoes and mailing them back. What a waste!! These sandals are in like new condition, and will now be worthless. I despise returns for this very reason. I, however, will not keep and use a product that causes me pain, and be out money for it. Proceed with caution!
