Super soft leather, comfortable fit, improved with my insoles.Love these, want them in blackI have very narrow heels and these boots accomodated them.

So glad I chose these booties!! I sent back another pair and got these instead!! I absolutely love these boots. The leather is so soft. The inside has the softest material! The boot is so comfortable!! I am going to be wearing these a lot! I will have to wear with a thin sock since my sock made it feel a bit tight. These boots feel very luxurious! Investment for me and I hope the last a long time!

I don't have a narrow foot, but these make my foot look skinny! They are butter soft and SO comfortable. I have an extremely high arch, yet I feel supported in these shoes. I normally wouldn't spend this much on a pair of shoes that aren't really boots (they are more like booties), but they are so delicious, it felt worth it to me!

So impressed! Leather is like butter. Very comfortable fit. Fits true to size. Boots are dressy, but have low heel which is a hard to find combination.

Very smooth shiny leather! Comfortable shoes, I am optimistic they will be good for walking. I am particularly pleased that I can wear these with "straight-leg" jeans over them, and it doesn't look weird - but they also look cute with skirts/dressed and leggings. Yay!

These are awesome! For a shoe with a heel, I am totally sold. They are very comfortable out of the box. I added a thin but very dense gel insole and these were comfortable for a full day of walking and working on my feet. They are a very nice style too. The navy is quite dark but that is what I wanted. I love these!

Beautiful, very comfortable and warm. I ordered 1 size bigger following the advise of another user and she was right. I wear normally size 8, in boots order 8.5 but on this pair I order 9. Perfect!

Very comfortable, there is fuzzy material inside on the upper boot that make them warm while still being stylish. Wear them with pants and skirts, I recommend these booties highly.

These shoes were totally comfortable from day one. They needed no breaking in. The finish has just the right amount of sheen and is easy to wipe clean.

I love these boots and also have them in brown. It is hard to find a short boot that is both comfortable and stylish and these fit the bill!

They smell like leather and are soft like gloves. Buttery soft leather. Shiny and perfectly shaped (toes not to spiky or rounded). I wanted to sleep in them. Beautiful, soft, comfortable - worth every penny. They are somewhat narrow so beware if you have wide feet. I am a solid size 7 or 7½ but I got a 38. They are a perfect fit. They zip on the ankle side of the foot (weird), but that is not an issue for me. The soles are not too padded, so I put my own insoles. The navy is pretty dark, almost black. They look great with pencil pants. they are sharp and sophisticated looking. I love love love them.

I absolutely love these ankle boots! While traveling overseas in New Zealand this July, I saw that was all about the ankle boot. Their styles are about six months ahead of ours. As soon as I returned, I went Zappos shopping. I came across these and ordered. These boots fit well and were comfortable right out of the box. I can wear them comfortably a whole day while running after grade two students. They look gorgeous with jeans, slacks and skirts. That was a New Zealand favorite - ankle boots with a skirt. I liked them so much that I ordered a second pair in brown. Now I am eyeing the navy. You see, I follow my grandmother's philosophy of, "If it fits well, is comfortable and looks good then order in several different colors!"

At last, my search for black booties is over! I don't know how many pairs I tried before found these (thanks, Zappos). They are cute and comfortable. I wish they maybe went up a little higher on the ankle, but I'll take the comfort over that! Also, I'm usually a 7 or 7.5 and ordered the 6.5/7 in this shoe, thanks to the advice of some other reviews.

Soft leather and sleek styling make this super comfortable boot functional as well as attractive. Every time I wear these boots I get compliments! Great with pants or tights and skirt.

Beautiful, soft leather boots. Very stylish, great with skinny jeans OR work clothes. I'm normally 7.5- 8, usually closer to an 8, so I ordered a 38. I have narrow feet and ankles. Felt tight on one foot, but after a day of wearing they stretched out, maybe almost a little too much since they seem slightly loose now. Can just wear thicker socks though. Would highly recommend! Have been looking for an ankle boot that's versatile with a flatter heel for work that will get me through the winter. After trying 6-7, settled on this and have not been disappointed.

I love these boots! I just bought them in black, and already have the brown. Super comfortable, but dressy, and the leather is soft and supple so there's no 'breaking in' period. I don't think they feel narrow, and my feet are fairly normal 8 - 8.5 size. That being said, they aren't a super thick sock type of shoe. Look great with slim pants or skinny jeans. Heel adds just enough extra height without being uncomfortable. I'm a designer so I need to be able to dress it up or down, and these shoes do both well.

Fit perfectly to size. I am an 8.5 and purchased a size 8.5 and great fit. So comfortable and warm. The inside material is this soft/fur like material. I love it. Beyond comfortable. Can wear/walk in them all day. Great for skirts and skinny pants. My new go to shoe!

I have problem feet and I always wear low-wedge heels or flats. Due to Zappos great return policy, I decided to try a boot with a short heel this season. What a pleasant surprise! The fit and comfort were perfect, and a little "hip" for someone my age. I'm thinking about purchasing the boot in another color. Spring Step Stockholm ankle bootie has garnered lots of compliments everywhere I go!

I love the color and style. The flap can make the boot appear taller. It is a very nice looking on the foot. It looks good with pants, tights or a maxi dress/skirt.

GORGEOUS COMFORTABLE LEATHER ANKLE BOOT. They are so comfortable (I'm on my feet all day teaching 2nd grade) that I came back and ordered another pair in brown. This boot looks great with skinny jeans, a skirt or even shorts. I found the boot to run true to size and width. I can wear it with tights, or a medium to thin sock. If you'd like it a bit warmer, pick up merino wool socks from the "Columbine The Wool Company" (New Zealand). They come in great colors, patterns, are so soft (no itch!) and provide you with warmth without the bulk.

These boots are really cool, but the super shiny leather makes them look a little too much like rain boots. I might have reconsidered if they had them in a matte finish. Unfortunately, I had to return them for other reasons. Too narrow for me, and I couldn't wear thick socks, which is what I need for colder weather. I was also worried about the finish on the leather. It just seemed too delicate, like it would scuff easily.

Love these boots. If you are looking for the perfect shoe boot, this is the one. Soft leather, gorgeous styling and easy side zipper. I ordered the 37. Sometimes European sizing can be tricky. I am a size 7 with M width. Very comfortable right out of the box!

These are very attractive, and very comfortable. About the sizing: I wear 7.5 M in US sizing and I find that size 38 shoes are usually a little roomy for me. This can be overcome very easily if you either wear thicker socks or add an insole.

The bootie is very comfortable and the leather is so soft. It is on the dressy side but I will wear it with everything. The only downside is the European sizing, I picked size 37 (US 6.5-7) and they are a little big, I wear a 6.5 normally. I know the 36 would be too small. Since they are such beautiful boots, I am working on some pads to make them fit my narrow heels.
