Just what I was looking for. Not a sneaker - no squishy bottom - but a closed shoe to wear with jeans. I don't like closed shoes or sneakers generally because my feet like to breath & lace-up shoes get too hot or make my feet swell. These are roomy & I hope won't feel too closed in at the end of the day. I like my Ahnu sandals for that reason & wear them almost year-round - often with socks. These don't come in a wide width but the medium is comfortable for me. I ordered both the blue in my regular size [38] & the olive green in a size down [37]. I really wanted the olive green but it wasn't available in my size - since I have short toes I thought maybe the smaller size might work. As it turns out, the blue [my regular size] fits better and I prefer the color! Go figure. The blue color is kinda blue-gray with a gray stretchy faux 'lace-up'. I also like that they are slip-ons. I walked around my living room in all the various weights of socks I wear: wool, knee high hose-weight, medium-weight fun anklets. That's one reason I love Zappos. I can spend some time with each pair of shoes in the privacy of home & really decide what's comfy. Here are my foot details in case it helps someone else decide whether to try them or not. I have short toes, wide feet generally & high arch & high instep. I also have narrowish heels and a smaller than normal little toe that sometime fusses at me in some styles. I can't wear regular flats; I need a strap to keep my feet from sliding forward or or the shoes need to come up over my instep to keep me from "walking out" of my shoes. I don't need arch support and these don't feel like they have any though there's a little bit of one visible. So, I really like these shoes. Just what I wanted.

These are very cute shoes - the blue is actually a nice shade of gray. I didn't keep them for two reasons: The toe box is a little narrow - my little toe rubbed against the inside of the show - and the upper felt like a thin leather facade attached to the inner leather structure. That may not be true, but it just didn't have the pliability I find in other leather shoes. Definitely size up one half size.

Umm I like them. They remind me of bowling shoes, but I guess that's sorta the reason I like them; they are strange looking but cute lol. Very hard to get any sort of stains out of them and you can't clean them with regular leather cleaner, just soap and water and you'll need to add an insole for extra support, but great overall running around the town shoe, very lightweight. Wish they came in other colors.

The color of the shoes was more of a brownish olive color. I was looking for not such a brown, but more olive. They were quite comfortable & I’d say they are worth are try! I’m returning & back to searching for the perfect pair:) I know I will find them with Zappos awesome return policy!

These shoes are super comfortable, though I did put in my own arch support. They are also very stylish!! This is my first shoe from this brand but will definitely keep my eyes peeled for them in the future.

This is a cute shoe so I'm disappointed that it's a bit too snug to keep. They are just a half size too small, but they otherwise mold around my foot nicely--no heel slip

I couldn't believe how well these fit my small narrow feet. Put them on and wore them the rest of the day...and the next day. They are comfortable, not clunky, and appear to be very well made. I might note that someone with a medium foot, getting into these shoes may not be the easiest. But I think they will loose a little after the leather softens some. If you have a wide foot, these shoes would probably not be for you. Some may not like that they loosen the laces, I like not having to retie shoe laces all day long. Guess it's a trade off: shoe laces that tie and are adjustable vs laces that don't tie and are only a little adjustable.

Cute as pie shoe!!!! Great with skinny jeans....they blend right in. Love the dark "side walls" and soles....no scrubbing and maintenance to keep them clean ( STOP buying those white wall shoes people!!!---too much work). Love this brand. Great cushy walk. I have wide feet and they are perfect after a bit of initial difficulty getting on if you have a high arch. Add an insole if they're a little roomy for even more cushion. I saw these at DSW Warehouse and they were $30 cheaper but didn't have my size. Worth the price to own them.

Really cute style. Liked the clearance for low ankle bones like mine. Just wish the laces were not simply elastic, but laces to tie. I need the support and customization that tying provides.

I really wanted to be able to keep this shoe. It's cute and comfortable without being a heavy and too hot tennis shoe. The style is very cute. The fit around the ankle was good and didn't slid, which many shoes do since my ankle is narrower. The only problem was that the ball of my foot is a little wider than it should be, so it was a little tight at the pinky toe. I wore them as much as I could to see if I could justify keeping them if the leather stretched at the toes, but at this price, I couldn't take the chance and had to return them.

This shoe is WORTH TRYING!! From the picture and without a Model walking in them: HARD to tell IF the Toe Box would be "high" enough for my Big Toe. Answer: for average foot would be GOOD (my Left Big Toe needs a slightly Higher toe box). IF.....These ONLY came in a softer material, such as Nubuck or mesh - I might have kept them!! The width for toes is good for an average to slightly wide foot: but the leather was pressing on one foot against the pinky toe. NICE Narrow heel !!!! I didn't realize that the shoe has a "permanantly" attached heavy duty elastic cord. I have high arches - and had to work at getting 1 foot in. (BUT.....one can always cut elastic out and use shoe laces). I REALLY liked HOW the tongue DID NOT come up too high (i have large tendons that often can bang into a Long tongue). So disappointed that these need to be sent back! Give these a try!

Very cute shoes, but odd sizing. The left shoe fit fairly well, the right one felt very loose. Since you can't tighten the lacings, it has to go back. Too bad.

Well constructed, good fit, and generally comfortable. Returned because they are more narrow than I like. They also look a bit like bowling shoes, which I sort of liked and sort of thought was strange.

I ordered this shoe in 41 and 42 (I wear a size 10 US) because I wasn't sure how it would work with my personal orthotic inserts (Vionic brand, which by the way, are fabulous). After experimenting with lots of different combinations, I reluctantly decided to return both pairs. It's a cute shoe that appears sturdy and long-lasting, but it just doesn't work for my silly and particular feet. The olive green is a fun neutral that would go with any color. (Nearly everything in my closet is black so I was wanting to veer away from that neutral this time.) For the right pair of feet, this is a great pair of shoes.

Well, they make my feet look daintier, but that might be because they feel at least a half size smaller than normal. I'm hoping that they'll stretch out as I wear them, because I do like the style.

Definitely bowling shoes! The crinkled leather was a little too pronounced for my taste. There's no way to adjust the slip-on laces so they ended up being too loose on my feet.

I wanted these to fit but they were tight particularly in width. I think the next size up will be too big. Bummer.

These ran large and had a strong odor, like a chemical to me, that put me off. Returning them.

do not bother if you have high in step! I could not get my food in! Please note that even though it is sorted as an "Oxford" the laces are not adjustable (the shoe cannot really be open)
