Snagged two of these for a few pair of shoes. The cedar smell literally sung to me the moment I unboxed them! J&M didn’t mess around and used quality cedar for these shoe trees. They are true to size and the perfect width.
The height of the shoe tree is a bit short compared to a few other shoe trees I own but no issue there. Sharing for perspective, if that is importante to you compadre.
My Ferragamo’s and Red Wings are keeping their shape and new car smell because of these shoe trees. They earned an A+ from me.

I had an older pair of dress shoes that were disfigured from never using shoe trees. Finally got around to buying a set of trees and was amazed at how comfortable and fitting the shoes felt after being on the trees for only a couple days. Also cleared up the shrunk toe wrinkles from being worn on long days and shrinking when drying. Well worth [$]!!

They do what they are designed to do, but they could use a cut out on top, front of the heel or a knob on top of the heel to add in removal. They can be difficult to remove from new or stiff shoes.
