Cute and warm. Quality threading

I ordered this beanie to replace a Carhartt beanie that I had sadly lost after wearing it regularly for several years. The fit of this one is too long for my head and looks silly. The extra material is poofy on top of my head and cuffing it more to try to fit my head better makes it look disproportionate and is less comfortable. I'm an adult woman, but maybe I should've ordered a kids beanie? Or maybe there's a knit beanie with a shorter cuff that I should've ordered instead?

I thought OS meant oversized, as in sized for a big head. My head measures 21.75 inches. This hat is uncomfortably snug unless I stretch the h$ll out of it, and because its a well made beanie it always returns to original size... but I'll keep stretching it before wearing...It is about 4 inches longer than my other (10 year old awesomely worn in) Carhart acrylic knit beanie that was one size fits most. So it's made for long narrow conical alien heads. There's at least 4 inches of extra material sticking up from the crown of my head even if cuffed as far as possible. Not a flattering look. Waste of money, sadly.
