A friend of mine who wears a lot of leggings suggested the Lysse leggings as being the best at a reasonable price. I ordered first the high-waisted Lysse style (I'm an oldie) according to their size chart, and the band was so tight around the very top of the band that I could not get them up over my bum. Friend said she had the same experience with the high waisted Lysse! I sent that style back and ordered two of the Capri, and two of these 1219. (I only wear black.) They are perfect! I've had many brands of leggings but consider these my new favorites. The fabric is just the right thickness, and the stretch hold you in a bit without making you feel like a sausage. I wear a 12-14 so ordered the large. They are not tight but not too big. If you are my size and like them tight, you may want medium. I weigh about 160 and am 5'5. They wash well and I've experienced no pilling. I turn them inside out and wash them on cold, dry them partially on gentle and let them air-dry the rest of the way.

Highly recommended! I'm 5'11" and curvy, ordered the XL just so they would fit over my backside, and they really fit like a dream. Love the high waist. Perfect leggings in my book!

I love that these leggings don't sag and are high enough to cover my muffin top. They give you a great butt! I love them!

Sizing not great. I ordered small as my measurements fit the chart provided. Way too small. Also got a medium. Not sure that I should keep them, so tight...

Highest quality (construction and material)... Usually take small BUT in this one the medium fits perfect... very comfy... no see thru... washes well... like so much I purchased a 2nd pair.

I absolutely love these leggings. They are the perfect thickness and are not too sheer like most. The control too is great for smoothing, but don't expect them to work like Spanx! Overall they are the perfect basic leggings. I will definitely be ordering more.

Love these! No rolls or muffin tops. Smooth and comfortable & hold their shape. I will buy them again & highly recommend them!

I have 4 pairs of these leggings. 3 black and 1 grey. All are large. The black ones are great The grey pair is coming apart at the seams in some places and they are not wearing as well as the black ones. I am thinking of sending them back to get them replaced. They are fairly new and not even a month old and I have only worn them 3 or 4 times. I followed the washing instructions but in my opinion, the grey pair is not as well made as the black ones. For the money, I am very unhappy with the grey pair.

LOVE these leggings!! I bought the black/MED/inseam 30. I'm a 49 yo female, 5'5", 143 lbs, with an athletic build. 39.5" hips and 32" waist with a loose lower mommy tummy and slight muffin top. Inseam 29" The are a tad long but I can scrunch them up a bit. If I had bought a smaller size they would have been extremely tight though. I prefer to be able to sit in them. :) --- First off I have to say I have only had these a very short amount of time and haven't worn them over a few minutes nor have I washed them. - That being said my first impression is I'm very, very pleased! They are so comfy, high quality, and very well made. The waistband is the best I've ever seen and PLENTY wide enough to HELP (no waistband/pants will ever be able to flatten it) control my mommy belly. I will always wear a top to cover it though. They fit me higher than what I consider "mid rise" as stated in the description. (Then again, remember they are a tad long and I can pull them up to my rib cage.) The band is also constructed of very smooth, cool, polyester in addition to the spandex. The leggings are a tad bit see-through but you can't tell unless you squat down and eye ball them. I mean, they are tights after all. :P - Plenty nice enough to pair with a nice blouse or sweater as well as just hang around the house in. I got them for $29.95 (because of a small discount and they were on sale). No way would I have paid $60 for them though. I don't plan on wearing them often enough for that price. - The are definitely worth the price I paid and I would recommend them highly!

Slim but non-strangulation tight fit. I have muscular legs and these were a comfy fit. Dense material so no see-through issues. Washing well, too.

So nice not to be in a solid legging!

Great fit and the black stays black even after lots of washing. My only complaint was inseam was not quite the 30 inches stated. More like 28.5.

I've been shopping on Zappos for years. Not only for myself, but also for my husband and 2 daughters and this will be my very first review. Why now?? It's because of these leggings. They're as good, if not, better than my Lululemons but with a better price tag. They suck everything in without making me feel uncomfortable. I will be ordering more.

These leggings are amazing. The fabric is just the right thickness and holds it's shape. Love the high waist and they wash up nicely. I am 5'7 and weigh 150 and the medium fit perfect.

At first when I was trying these on I thought these weren't going to be able to get over my hips. You kind of have to shimmy them on. But after I successfully put them on they looked super cute! And they made my butt look great. I'm 5'3 and weigh about 120 and got a size small. The fabric is comfortable, and I love that the leggings are high waisted. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Best legging I've found for my body type (hips, thighs, and booty). Fits snugly but not too snug to create a muffin top. Perfect for casual and athletic wear.

I love Lysse leggings! They fit real bodies, don't sag and holds up to wash after wash! Truly keeps you neat and trim looking for active going or just relaxing!

These are the best thing ever when my back hurts and my tummy needs a little help. We just recently got a new puppy and these are getting me through it. I have to bend down to clean up the puppy's pee and poo several times a day and I haven't complained about my back. It's a miracle! I now do my laundry wearing them and no back issues. I purchased several more. Very happy with purchases.

These are the best leggings I have ever worn. Great quality, wear and wash well, long enough. Enough shaping without looking like shape wear.

They're long. I tuck them under. I don't like things tight so I ordered a large so they don't squeeze my belly. I'm 5'2" & 120 lbs. I could've gotten away with the medium if I wanted them tight. I liked these so much that I purchased 4 fours (3 after the 1st pair).

Good quality fabric, but waistband is tight. I am 5'4" 124 pounds and ordered a medium, because I don't like constriction around my waist. The rest was a little too big, and definitely too long. I may try for a small and see how that feels. Good quality product.
