Cute as can be, but when I tightened the toe strap to fit my somewhat narrow feet, the stiffness of the strap hurt my big toes. I'll return them and go back to the suede that I've worn successfully for the past 20 years.

This shoe runs big - I chose my usual size and it was huge. It is super cute; I couldn't wait for it to arrive. Too bad it's going back.

I had Birkenstocks when I was a teenager and remembered loving them. So when I saw these on Zappos, I couldn't resist. Thanks to Zappos lightning fast shipping, I got my sandals in no time. First impression...they look huge! I ordered them in a 37 medium and my feet almost slipped right through them when I first tried them on. So I adjusted the buckles and put them on again...still looked huge. I walked around my living room in them and I realized and felt that the footbed conformed perfectly to my feet! I guess I did get the right size after all. They do make your feet look pretty wide but I love the comfort and the super cute design. I asked other people's opinion on the shoe and all I got were compliments. So I'm keeping them!

These sandals are huge, even with the straps adjusted to the last hole. They are not only wide, they seem to be made for someone with a pudgy foot, as the adjusted straps did not even touch the top of my foot. I usually wear an 8.5, so I ordered a 39. The length was just right, so a smaller size would not work. They are cute, but they just wouldn't stay on my feet. Also, these are made by Papillio. I don't know if they are actually Birkenstocks.

I have a bunion on my right foot which causes the bottom strap to hit against my foot tearing the skin. The left shoe fits fine. These are not good if you have a bunion as the synthetic material does not mold or stretch to your foot.

I had high hopes for these sandals. They are very cute and others have given rave reviews. But I don't get it. The soles are rock hard, and the shoes are not at all comfortable. Maybe the wide shoe would be more comfortable, but I don't have wide feet, and I'm pretty sure the buckles wouldn't be tight enough. I am returning these, as I couldn't even walk around my house, let alone walk all day in them.
