Great looking shoe. Comfortable and I can wear them with anything.

My husband is an optometrist and dislikes leather dress shoes. He saw these bad boys at the Vans store and it was love at first sight. They are comfortable for walking around from patient to patient, they resemble the color of a dress shoe, and they keep him young. He rates them a 20/20. So punny.

The color is perfect to wear with jeans, khaki pants or shorts. Super comfortable

Durable, comfortable, and look good. Buying my second pair now.

I love the look of these shoes they are also the best pair of skate shoe I've skated so far.

Purchased these for my son. He loves them. For him to tell me he keeps getting complimented on them, well.....let's just say that's a big deal. He says they are super comfy. Now the Dad in me requests that they make larger half sizes. He is basically a 12. But had to go with 13. A little big....needed that 12.5! Ha! Great shoe though. Not sure if all the Van's come with 2 sets of laces....but these did. Black or white. His choice. It's a Nice little extra.

This is my second pair of Crockett 2's and I love them! They fit perfectly out the box and stay comfy until you've worn them down after so much use.

i wear vans to work usually. with the others i started to see damage pretty quickly just from walking around and creasingZ these have easily held up the best. the part where the toe meets the rest of the shoe (the crease spot that usually gets holes on the sides) is still perfectly intact. that and they look good :)

One of the few vans shoes you can get in a black on black color combo. Shoes fit as expected and are fairly comfortable. A good classic Vans shoe. Only had them for a few weeks so I can't speak to durability

I love the color and the combo of canvas and corduroy. The issue was the laces were too short. They are a 7 eyelet shoe with 45" laces. Should be 54".

The shoes are ok but they used to come with better laces and longer ones also used to come with 2 pair of laces

I skate these shoes pretty hard. A bit on mini ramps and parks. A lot of flat ground practice, some street and a lot of freestyle. I get obsessed with certain tricks and just rake the grip tape over and over. I do have to shoe goo it up when my front side foot is torn to shreds. That being said. Vans could use some rubber on the scrape spots on all of their skate shoes. I've never met a single skater that doesn't work the side of the shoe really hard and have to make their own repair because of it. The comfort level of these is decent. Not quite as thin as slip ons. If you want cush. Another shoe would be for you. These are dependable and I find Vans sizing very consistent. I've had slip ons, Half Cabs and these. I will get another pair of them, when the time comes. Hey vans. How about some all black Gilbert Crocketts? I'd be the first in line. Strong laces, like kevlar or similar would be a welcome addition to any skate shoe. Thanks for having dependable and comfortable shoes over the years. 24 years of wearing them so far for me. Still lounging in my slip ons and thrashing my Crocketts. I will add images another time.

These shoes were great for my active son and held well for 8 months, Christmas gift. He wore them to school every day, then through the Summer and while cycling around the neighborhood most days. The toe seal needed some shoe goo after about 3 months of wear, but we have never found a skate shoe yet that didn't need that. We made sure to water and stain protect them before wear and they have held up great. Here to buy another pair as he has outgrown these!

Absolutely love them. Too tight at first but fit great when I swapped with another vans insert.

Shoes are great. I loved the look and they were comfortable the first time I wore them. Then I went on a date that required walking. After 2 hours I had to change my shoes bc my left heel was being cut open. Right foot fit great. If you buy them have a box of band aids
