The friction between your feet and the sandal is small so you can not walk fast or run if you are in hurry. The memory foam is on the surface so it leave a memory of you feet shape and it make the look of the sandal is not pretty. If there is a another layer of material cover the memory foam that give us a little friction and leave no shape then it would be ok

I am perplexed as to why people seem to really like this shoe. This is a flip-flop and not a work shoe or a walking shoe, so why does it need the foam padding in sole? I bought this based on the good reviews and previous good experience with Skechers. First, I walked in these for about a mile before deciding that it was safer to go barefoot. My foot slid around on the sole of the shoe to the point where I twisted my ankle several times. I bought the same size I always do with Skechers but these seemed wider and looser than normal. Anyway, maybe I got a bad pair but I contacted Zappos for a return. I do have to say Zappos customer support rocks! I received a refund, no questions asked and with a bit of humor to boot! I ended up finding the older style out on another site since the once I like from SKechers are discontinued and Zappos no longer has them. My advice is to try it in a store before buying online.

Like some others here... Great for a few weeks, then the wear started. After a month they were falling apart. Awful.

First pair of these were awesome, comfortable and long-lasting. I wore them right out after a year and quickly ordered another pair. Those were not nearly as good. Initially, they were very comfortable as before, but then the pad my foot rested on started to disintegrate after about a month. Lasted, another couple of months and that was it, I could not wear them anymore. The first pair lasted about a year, the second pair only about three months. Now I am looking for another.

I wear sandals a lot and my old pair was a few years old and starting to feel pretty worn out, so when I saw these and put them on my feet they felt amazing. Skechers is on a memory-foam kick. It is the new fad I guess, and the first few days with these sandals felt like maybe they were onto something. A week in and they were starting to wear in and were really comfortable to walk around in. Fast forward a month, and now they are showing permanent imprints of my foot, my foot is much looser and they are not feeling near as good as they did. Another week or so passes and now they just have zero support. My feet actually hurt after wearing these for a short walk around the neighborhood and the memory foam just does not rebound at all anymore. It is unfortunate, these things feel great at first but they just do not hold up for very long.
