My daughter loves these shoes; however, the metal is all one piece and the connection broke one above the toe on within the first week. The metal is now in two parts and the top large portion flaps around when the foot moves. I bought two colors and that has happened on both pairs.

Finally - thong sandals that a woman with very wide feet can comfortably wear. Having very wide feet, on top of still having swelling from foot surgery, makes buying sandals in general a pain - literally! I am thrilled to have discovered Bella Vita. This is my second pair of Bella Vita shoes, and I can comfortably wear them all day. It is wonderful to wear sandals that are wide enough so that my feet do not hang over the sides, and they do not kill the top of my feet.

These shoes are awesome! The cobalt color is so pretty and the shoe looks great on my feet. Would highly recommend

In a previous review I agree this sandal is far from narrow or even medium width. Good looking and would be comfortable if it was truly narrow or even slim, sorry must return.

I ordered the Narrow AA...there is absolutely NOTHING narrow about this sandal. Disappointingly it is going back. I wish some footwear manufacturer would figure out how to make this style of sandal to fit a narrow foot. It's not just the width of the sole, but the length across the instep!

If you can tolerate the strap between your toes, this might be a good shoe for you. The design is very flashy (too much for me). I wound up returning these, but that was due to my own discomfort with the flip-flop style.

I ordered these shoes in a wide width based on reviews saying they ran wider than expected. Typically I would have ordered extra-wide. My feet were hanging over the edges! Great looking shoes but they just won't work.

Cute, but very low across the instep. Could not even get my foot into these. Such a disappointment!

These are super cute and comfortable...but after I wore the sandals a few times, the metal on the top broke. Very disappointing. I as going to order another pair however after reading another review that mentioned the same issue, I decided to give these a miss. If you remove the metal pieces, the indentations from the metal can be seen so you can't really use them without the metal piece.

The Bella Vita (Skylar) sandals have a design defect. They fit absolutely perfect, had just the perfect amount of arch support that I wanted (none), had a nice wide footbed, and were just cute as they could be. The problem was the suede insert sewn into the footbed. Where the seam was stitched, it left an extremely sharp edge that felt like a razor blade when I tried to walk in them. I even took them to a shoe repair store to see if they could devise a modification that would cover this sharp edge and make them wearable, but they did not have a good solution, since a removable foot pad will not stick to the suede. I just hated to return them, but cannot tolerate an uncomfortable shoe. I hope they get redesigned in the future!
