Day 1...
I received this jacket as a result of winning a promotion.
This is day 1 of my ownership of this jacket and so far I love it. It fits perfectly and is super comfy. I'll have to wait until the winter to put it through its paces, and when I do I will update my review.

A warm jacket, built for the outdoors, yet comfy enough that it feels like your favorite sweatshirt. This is my new go-to mid layer for all of my winter activities.

Oh my goodness, I love this jacket. It's simple and not too flashy in its design, has just the features I need and nothing more. Fantastic for activity in cool to cold weather, and ok for at-rest warmth in warmer temps. It dumps excess heat during activity like nothing else I've tried, but I don't find myself chilled. The fit is wonderful--I'm on the curvier side with broad shoulders and it still gives me a great range of motion in the arms and shoulders, but is still fitted enough to fit easily under a shell. I have enough room underneath for a light, fitted fleece, too, if needed. And the colors are way nicer in person--I got the nickel gray, and it's darker and richer in person, it goes with anything but still has a nice pop of color. I can't say enough good things about this jacket, which is good, considering the price. But it's been working great for me so far and I can't wait to take it on more adventures, for years to come.

My wife purchased this jacket for me this past Christmas. I love everything about it. It's warm, packable, light, and weather resistant. I've worn it as an outer layer and mid layer in every winter condition. It's my go to jacket from now on.

Great jacket for 30 to 50, water repellent in light rain, wind proofing is amazing specially in Chicago weather, fits perfectly fine, I'm 5.5 195 lbs large is fine. I can wear it under my hard shell. I'm not disappointed with my investment.

I am an avid ArcTeryx customer and would like to put in a suggestion for an additional feature on the atom lt hoody. It's my favorite hiking jacket of all time. I would like to see two inside slash pockets on the jacket and it would be perfect. I bought a new Patagonia with that feature and I won't have a jacket without it now. Make it big enuf for gloves etc and I'll buy every color. Kudos to you this jacket is unbelievable . Mike

I just ordered my third Atom LT Hoodie. I would guess I probably wear this jacket 300 days a year, more than any other layer I own. This jacket can handle a little rain, a little snow, a little wind, a little chill, an essential layer for active mountain women on the move. Perfect for any cold-weather aerobic activity and is fitted enough that it layers well under a shell if you need more warmth or weather protection. The side vents are great when you're on the move but I do get chilled when the temps drop below freezing. I really can't say enough good things about this jacket! Note: I just got the Brushed Nickel color and it is so much better than it looks online. I was worried it would be too light but it is about twice as dark as it looks online and has a very subtle dusty lavender tone. Such a nice color!

Love this jacket. It is one of the most versatile pieces I own. I originally bought it to be used as a mid layer, but now I use it for much more than that. I regularly ice climb with this as my outer layer. At first, I wouldn't have believed it to be durable enough, but I have been proven wrong. It stands up to the abuse and comes back for more. It keeps me at a comfortable temperature in a large range of conditions...cold, windy, mild. The key is the breathability of the underarm stretch panels.
I also use this jacket, around town. It's so light and comfortable that you easily forget you're wearing it. You can go into and out of stores, restaurants, etc without feeling the need to take it off.
I am 6'2" tall and weigh 186 pounds. The large is a perfect fit. Mine is a light grey colour. It looks good...understated, but can appear dirty quickly. Something to consider...
All-in-all an awesome Jacket. It averages almost 5/5 stars for a reason!

Like the title says, If you have to own one Arc'teryx jacket/hoody I'd pick this because of its versatility and all around function. I wear this as a mid layer in heavier downpour under a jacket when its cold, and as an outer layer under a shirt in light rain and milder temps. This has replaced my fleece jacket in terms of use. Packs very light in your stash. The lightweight fabric is so awesome I hardly feel wearing it under a shell. Overall its such an awesome piece of must have gear!

I love this jacked. Have worn it to sleep in in arctic conditions, easy to wear in camp and as a midlayer for a long skiing day.
Such a shame it does not come in a simple red or dark blue, like the men's version!

If you had to own only one piece of Arc'teryx gear, it would have to be this one. If you had to own only one piece of clothing in the world, it would have to be this one! this jacket is truly the most wonderfully designed piece of fabric I have ever worn. Whether you live above the arctic circle and need something for spring and fall, or live in the american south and need something for chilly winter nights, this is the jacket you need. Comfortable, light, packable, warm when its cold, breathable when its hot, stylish, this jacket does it all.

I had this jacket for over 2 months. Keeps me warm and is very breathable. I also can wear my outer shell over this jacket as another layer.

I absolutely loved this jacket. It's a perfect rain jacket and great for hiking, as it is very breathable and comfortable without sacrificing warmth and rain resistance. It's also got an excellent hood to go over a helmet while climbing. Apparently other people love this jacket too since mine unfortunately disappeared at my climbing gym. I'll be buying another and hanging onto it much tighter this time around.

I love this jacket, and wear it almost everywhere. I rarely get too hot, and recently it has kept me nice and warm. It's very light, which comes in handy when belaying or climbing and of course the mobility is great. I love the stuffing into arm trick!
However, it would definitely benefit from a locking zipper because when it's windy the last thing you want is for it to come undone and have cold air down your neck. I bought it in the Oceanus colour, but be warned, it is greener and more teal colour rather than the blue on the website! However, this colour is still nice so don't be put off

Absolute Kaufempfehlung! Eine Jacke frs Leben!

I have had this jacket for about ten years now and it's still in great shape. It's water-resistant, breathes well, and you can throw it in the wash or crumple it in a bag and it comes out with no wrinkles. I've used it snowshoeing in 10-degree weather (I heat up and wind up unzipping), and wore it all over Europe from cool nights to cold ones (layered with a fleece). It looks great. Love the side stretchy fabric which gives a sliming effect and releases heat so young don't over heat. It's my favorite jacket by far. (Though I also love my Patagonia Nano Air, but it's no where near as versatile as this jacket.)

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend and he has been wearing it non-stop! I have the women's version that I love too! Boyfriend is 6'5" about 250 lbs and originally I ordered an XL for him, which is his typical size and had to return it for an XXL

My new favorite piece of kit.
I wore my Atom LT first, to go shopping and it looked smart and a bit different in a sea of down jackets. It kept me toasty warm on a damp an chilly day, but not too hot in and out of shops.
My first time with the Atom LT out on the hill it was a windy cold and damp day, as I expected this jacket worked really well with my Zeta AR. I really like it's ability to keep me comfortable with out being bulky.
I am very large (xxl) and the fit is just about right for me. My only quibble in the hood adjustment is a bit fiddley, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it with practice. The Atom LT feels like a really good quality piece of kit, highly recommend.

Keeps you warm while staying highly breathable. It has worked well for me as a mid- or outer-layer on various ice and rock climbs. Durable against rock abrasions.
Packable. Hood adjusters helpful for use with helmets. The chest pocket, hand pockets, and hem drawcords are among some of the useful features.
Great versatile layer for all-around outdoor use.
