Travel a lot. Bring it with me everywhere, takes wear very well. Love sleeping with it on planes, so easy to snooze with it on. Haven't brought it in the mountains yet. Stuff falls out of the pockets almost instantly, so keep zipped.

So I bought the Atom LT Hoody about one year ago - and I I've been wearing this jacket A LOT! :) I use it for walking my dog, when I go on backcountry ski touring trips, walking or commuting to my office, trips around town - and just about every other scenario where it's nice to have a bit of extra warmth. I like the fact that if the jacket gets dirty/smelly just throw it in the washer and hang it up to dry. No need to take the "extra care" as you would have to do with e.g. a down jacket (although I love my Cerium LT jacket very much too). Just remember to "freshen" up the DWR now and then. I have the Atom in the Pilot colorway which is a nice subtle gray color that works perfectly in a lot of situations. I've recommended this jacket both to family and friends of mine. The Atom LT is in my opinion the perfect allrounder. (Please don't change anything on it..)

Veste polyvalente pour la montagne et pourquoi,pas pour la ville . Ne retient pas l humidit Extensible grce ses cts en polaire . Facilite la possiblilite de mettre une veste comme Kyanite dessous,s il fait froid

I wear this piece all year round. Absolutely love it! I now have 2 - an older and tge most recent model. All my active family members got one as a gift from me as well and they all love it! Put this jacket on over a t-shirt in the winter and be prepared to be surprised at how warm this thin lightweight piece will keep you! I use this jacket for outdoor activities - bike rides, hiking, running and just to keep warm while sipping on some tea on tge balcony on a cooler day. This is my go to jacket. Hands down the best jacket I've owned.

So comfortable and versatile. I have even worn this jacket in the summer for protection from light rain and was blown away. Breathes so well that overheating is not an issue. As a mid layer in the winter I feel invincible to the cold, especially during high output activities.

Indispensable. It's something which is always with me, gives you the feeling of a sort of wireless connection with the nature. Light, packable, very warm, wind and weather resistant if occurs. Great compromise quality/price. Size?: 1.70 cm/chest 100 Cm. - got S, it is even too big. Colour: Black!

The Atom LT is universally recognized as a benchmark garment. However, I think a few things about it don't go fully appreciated. 1. It's actually not expensive. Most competitors jackets are close in price, or the same price. You're buying Arc'teryx fit, after sales, construction, and materials. But you're not paying much of a premium at all for them. 2. CoreLoft is a remarkably good synthetic insulation. I would put it nearly on par with 700 fill down in terms of its weight, warmth, and compressibility trade offs. Yet it still maintains the packaging and moisture benefits of synthetic. A lot of the nearly magical warm and light feel of the jacket come from CoreLoft being rather good, and the 20D fabric being well judged for durability to weight. 3. The cuffs. Man the cuffs are dialed. They grip to your wrists perfectly, cutting out the wind and keeping in the heat. But you never have to adjust them because they're soft and don't apply an uncomfortable ring of elastic pressure on your wrists. 4. The pockets. They are fleecy on the inside, but they have a stiffer nylon reinforcement on the zips. So you can easily zip them without them catching, and the extra interior pile keeps your hands cozy. Of course all of the usual Arc'teryx benefits apply. The fit is good, the colors match well across materials on all colorways, breathability and overall performance are good, and so forth. I will now go back to enjoying my life inside of a cloud with my Atom LT jacket and Atom LT pants.

Truly a legend at the top of the midlayer heap. It stretches and moves with you, remains lofty and in tact under straps, weighs next to nothing and keeps you warm well above its weight class. Everything just feels right and in the right place. You can vent heat with the pockets as with most Arc pieces. The style lets me go for a backpacking adventure or downtown for a beer, simply the best! The hardest part of being an Atom LT owner is trying not to buy all the new colors. Enjoy!

Super versatile all season jacket. Wear it under things, wear it over things, wear it between things, wear it in the spring, wear it on summer evenings, wear it in the fall, wear it all winter long, you'll probably never take it off. I'm 6'3" 200lbs and the XL fits perfect. Just loose enough to layer underneath.

I can see this jacket as an almost daily apparel item. It's great for cool mornings and nights and will go with me on hiking, biking, canoeing trips due to the microfiber. For some reason I always buy the perfect item after I need it and that was true this time as well. I just came off a cold, rainy raft trip in the Yukon and could have worn this jacket every day! I noticed several other rafters had Arc'teryx jackets on and made a mental note to check out the company. I was originally going to get the Patagonia Nano Puff jacket but found this one better in several regards. You be the judge.

I have a Beta LT Jacket in Small. Does Atom LT Hoody in Small fits underneath?

The Atom LT is my favorite jacket and sees more use than any other jacket in my collection. It's been used as a mid-layer and outer layer and has proven to be warm, durable, breathable with excellent mobility. The Atom LT is also one of the best fitting jackets available on the market. From skiing to climbing, it can do it all.

Great synthetic jacket. An everyday go-to as well as a gear item I seem to be packing more often than not, especially in transitional seasons! Would definitely buy again. I do have one minor complaint and this goes for most Arc women's clothing. There is not as good of a range in colors as there is in the men's department. The bright saturated colors are not for everyone and all my gear is black because of the limited selection. I've been slowly seeing newer women's colors and just wanted to say keep em' comin! In particular I noticed the men's atom sl comes in beautiful cypress green. Just thought I'd toss that color choice out there for the women's lt. It would certainly be a proper addition to your collection and then my own. With that said, the functionality of the jacket (what's really important) is a dream. :)
