I have several of the gym girl ultra skorts from a few years ago, all size large. I'm a size 12, 5,8", wide hips, muscular legs. Typically a large. I decided to add some new colors this year and ordered one medium and one large ultra skort in the new fabrics. I've taken up running in the last few years and my numerous skirtsports bottoms (skorts and longer) were all a bit too loose for running (the force will pull your pants down if there's any give, and none of my skirtsports have a drawstring). The new large was comfortable and cute but not sufficiently fitted for running. The new medium was unexpectedly perfect for running, snug and supportive. So I'm returning the large for a second medium. Either way the underlying shorts never ride up and aren't too tight (bulgy) at the bottom seam. The fabric is fantastic and there are no rough seams or zippers anywhere on the garments that cause friction or discomfort during floor exercises. SkirtSports is a fantastic, liberating, flattering brand.

I bought this skirt for golf. It is a cute length and style. However, if there is any wind, the skirt flies up as a result of the long slits on the side. Also, the pockets on the legs are a little too far back that it looks like you are grabbing your butt when you want to grab a tee. The shorts ride up a little bit, but that is expected.
