They are rugged and edgy and comfortable! I have been shopping around for my first pair of distressed boots. Let me tell you, I have larger than normal calves (16½") and ordered the Frye veronica Slouch, and the Frye Veronica Back Zip and all though I did love the color they did not fit my calves and the shape of the toe was narrower then I like so back in the mail they went. These Freebrid Crosbys are perfect and also cheaper. Oh, and there is a secret side pocket in the inside, I do not know for what but I like it!

Absolutely thrilled with these boots. They're stylish and well made, high quality. And, cheaper than frye boots, similar in quality and style. They do run true to size, might be a bit on the narrow end of things. One thing to note, the arch is tight, so they're a little tricky to slip on and off because the foot bed is so slim in height. But, they're not tight in the foot once they're on. So, if you have thick arches it might be a deal breaker.

These are super cute once I can get them on! They are very hard to pull on and a larger size would be too big. But they are so cute once I get them on I love them so kept them.

These boots are great all purpose, every outfit boots. They aren't entirely perfect, but I'm definitely keeping them (especially because they were on sale at 6pm for so cheap!). For the record, I am a true size 9, with somewhat wide feet and have a bunion on one foot. These run true to size and are definitely roomy and comfortable enough right out of the box! Pros: -Great moto style. I love that they are a mid calf height, very versatile with jeans, skirts, leggings, shorts, etc. They can be worn with things you would normally wear ankle boots with or things you would wear taller boots with. -Comfortable and wide enough right out of the box! They are a little hard to get on, but surprisingly not hard to take off and not tight in the footbed at all. -Love the little hidden pocket inside the boot! -Wide opening is good for bigger calves if you have them. If you have thinner calves these boots make your legs look skinny. Plus! -They aren't too slouchy (I really don't like boots that have too much slouch). Cons: -They are just a bit too worn looking, but I am going to try and correct that with some leather conditioner. -I wish the bottoms were rubber and had more of a grip. They're not really ideal for slick, smooth surfaces. -Could have just a little more cushioning inside. All in all, a super cute and very stylish boot!

Probably just me but I was expecting the boot to be higher though I do like the length now. Note that there is no zipper and it's a loose fit so keep that in mind as far as getting them on. Good sturdy boot. Comfortable and the rugged look works well for some good wear.

They are great. I am a bit particular about my shoes and did not like that they arrived with misshapen shafts. One was standing tall and the other was flopped over and messy. I clipped the shafts together to straighten the flopped one and not it is much better. They were very tight in the foot area in the beginning but I continued to wear them that day, I could actually feel them loosening up. I know they are distressed but I wish that they could still arrive as though someone cared instead of seeming like they were just thrown in a box like expensive trash. Also, I wear a 6½ and bought a 6 because they do not have half sizes and I am happy with that choice.

These boots are so cute! I wish that there was a size 9.5 so I could keep them because they are adorable. However, the 9's made my foot numb, and I'm swimming in the 10's so it's back to the drawing board.

I received these boots today and when adjusting the buckle it broke! Wow! As for the quality of these boots: Not Frye! I would consider them to be on an equal footing with Bed Stu brand. The leather is nice but again not Frye quality! The soles, again not quite the quality for the money! I did like them; however, the fit was long enough but the width was a little on the wider side. Again Frye is narrow for most, which is great for us women who have narrow long feet. I did, however, try to find another buckle to replace the one that broke, to no avail. Anyway might go to my local cobbler and see if he can fix it! Not sure if I will keep. Was okay value for the sale price! However, way overpriced at the regular price!

Color was okay, their brown color is way better. Was not a comfortable fit for me. Maybe I would have kept them if they were less, but for the price I want a super fit and they just weren't comfortable. Sadly, they are going back. Also, very tight fitting.

Loved the tan color although they are much lighter than the video and pictures show them to be. Not a bad color, just much lighter The video shows that they are slightly open at the calf although they are not. They are pretty snug at the calf and I have skinny calves. Cute boots but not in person.

Ordered these and got the sale price. Alas, when they arrived they had the buckle broken at the ankle. Loved the look, they felt maybe a tad short, however kinda wide. I tried to find a replacement buckle but gave up after I couldn't find one. The quality is not that of what one might expect from Frye. More on the line of Bed Stu. Anyway I sent them packing.

I am looking for a pair of distressed boots - the kind that would improve if you wore them in the rain - but these are too distressed for me! Also why do they come in whole sizes only? I am normally a 7.5, and the 7's were definitely too small, and the the 8's too big.

These boots are very nice looking but not very comfortable. I have worn these about 6 times now and they do not seem to be breaking in. Not real comfortable for your feet.

Something about the shape of these makes them just about impossible to pull on. I got a zip-up pair by the same brand, and they fit fine...but I couldn't find the right angle for getting my foot into these. I'm not going to spend this much on boots if putting them on is a struggle.

I couldn't even get these boots on. If you have a high instep, forget about it. Your foot will not go in. I so wish there was a zipper b/c they look really nice and it's exactly the style I wanted.
