For over 40 years I travel the world. (actually, it is 60, but I was too young to remember the first 20 of my life) In all those years I gathered several millions of frequent flyer miles. So you can say I know what I am talking about based on experience. This carry-on suitcase is absolutely superb. It is the only suitcase that rolls smoothly. Why? Because the wheels are real skateboard wheels, they are designed to transport people on top of a board, and the wheels are placed as far as possible apart. The latter prevents the suitcase from toppling over. Yes, you only have two wheels, but that is good as the suitcase follows you where you go, unlike the four wheels ones where you have to force the suitcase to follow as soon as you have no smooth surface. The interior of the suitcase has a good finishing, allowing you to access the suitcase through multiple entry points. In my travel life I made mistakes for you, so you can order immediately the right roller suitcase.

I love this bag, it's easy to use and travel with. I look forward to many years and great travels with it.

I purchased this bag for work trips. I was using a duffle/backpack which was great but I wanted something I could roll and would look more professional. So far I love the bag it's got plenty of room for a weeks worth of packing. And the wheels are super smooth and roll nicely over cracked sidewalks. The organization within the bag is pretty good. It's mostly just two open halves of the clamshell. The front access is a nice feature to get into the bag without having to open it all the way up. And the laptop pocket is a nice size. Although I didn't use it to carry my laptop it worked great to allow easy access to a Nintendo Switch and a book for my most recent trip. The medium size is quite nice for a carry on. I haven't used this on any international trips but on domestic flights it fit in the overhead bin for me without any issues. The skateboard wheels though they're the best part. This bag rolls so smooth and quietly.

Used this on a recent trip and amazed at the build quality. As others have mentioned, the main zippers are a little stiff on first usebut they loosen over time.

I've traveled to Hawaii and to Alaska since buying the new carry on last year. It's handled both carry on and checked bag situations very well. It's a Well made bag.

Primarily use this as a checked bag. Perfectly featured for my travel needs and appears adequately durable.

I own another timbuk2 rolling suitcase and love the construction on both. The bearings on the wheels make such a different for a smooth transition when on a weekend away or for a longer trip. Love this bag and looking forward to putting lots of mileage on it.

Love the look, feel, and functionality of this bag! Pro tip for long-distance Amtrak travelers: if you're in a roomette, you can pack this bag so that you never have to open the full clamshell, just flip open the cool compartment zipper for clothes you'll want on the ride, and also put your toiletries and/or extra shoes in the top stash pocket, and voila: easy access to all you need en route.

Working nicely, but four wheels are better, why are you going backwards?

I have both the small and medium sizes of the Copilot. They are high quality and look sleek. They hold more than similarly sized roller luggage. I can easily pack for trips of any length with just the smaller one. I purchased the small size to make sure it met international carry on dimensions. Highly recommend.

Great back, had one that lasted almost 8 years of regular domestic and international travel. I am pretty sure it would have lasted another decade if not for Southwest slashing the front during the great luggage debacle of Christmas 2022 - luckily they fully reimbursed the bag! I am sure this new bag will last even longer. The bag is perfect size for up to a week in any season. I love that it can be checked or be a carry on for US flights. I have rolled that bag over every type of terrain without a problem. Highly recommended!

This copilot is my 1-3 day carry on. I now have the S, M & XL which covers ever travel trip I have. Best last bag on the market. Had a wheel damaged by bag handlers and Timbuk2 sent me a replacement set of wheels for free. 5 year old bag is good as new again.

Frequent traveler with many different durations. This is my go to 4-6 day co-Pilot now. Fits in carry on and is the longest lasting bag you can get.

This suitcase is great for travel. Very roomy and well made. Fits easily in an overhead bin on the plane. It works well for a weekend get away or a weeks long trip. The quality of the bag matches the quality of my 10 year old messenger bag that I use every day.

It has everything you want in a carry with different compartments and amazing handle along with a top area for smaller things to be easily accessible.

Well made and rugged. I like the pockets, zippers, and excellent skateboard rollers. Next time, though, I might get a smaller size, even though this one will fit into the overhead storage. I hope they come in a few color options next time I order!

We LOVE these products, this is our second XL luggage piece and our fourth luggage piece in general. We also have three backpacks, and four messengers for various uses as well as some accessory products. Can't recommend Timbuk2 enough and it's always our first stop for bags on the move!

It's a reliable product. The manufacturing and quality of product is worth the investment. It is super spacious but still manageable for trains and multiple city trips. I'm a Timbuk2 loyal customer, they never disappoint.

Very easy to use as carryover.

We've been using the small size of these bags as carry-ons for years now and love them. We had the wheels on so many bags meet their demise on cobblestone around the world, but the skateboard wheels on these have been wonderful. It'll be great to have the larger size as well going forward.
