It's an excellent piece of luggage that fits in the overhead bin. Several zippers make it easy to pack and access your things without opening the whole bag. The wheels are super smooth, and it's easy to roll through the airport, or anywhere.

Recently bought this to replace some old (and cheaper quality) luggage we initially got as a wedding gift. Time for some real-adult luggage! I also recently bought one of the Timbuk2 messenger bags for work and I am LOVING it so I knew to trust the reviews for this suitcase as well. The reviews definitely did not disappoint, and this suitcase is incredible. Did SO well on our trip, and the sheer amount of things this case can hold is insane (we bought the largest size offered). This thing will be around for quite a while as we can tell, and we will be adding to our collection with the line that Timbuk2 carries as well. Literally no complaints; don't think twice about buying this -- just do it!

Perfect for airline travel. The right size and a good design for rolling through airports and the like. The layout isn't overly complicated, but has the right details to keep various things handy / separate / protected / etc.

Love this bag. As someone who travels with fragile equipment for multiple jobs, maxing out my carry on space is essential, and the copilot M does just that. Very impressed.

This came highly recommended from a Flight Attendant. It has zipper close sides on both sides, front access to the one side, plus an area for your laptop and a separate one for shoes. It is very lightweight and sturdy. The handle has a grip also, which is awesome. It is a smooth ride on skateboard type wheels. Very, very well made!

i had an earlier version of this bag. I took it around the world, over 15 surf trips to Central America, Mexico and South America. Hard use, I knew exactly how to pack every inch of it- its so versatile. Last month Delta lost it coming back from yet another trip. The first thing I did when I woke up was order another one. Highly recommended. The current version is lighter and hopefully just as strong. For the price this bag is not an extravagance, its a necessity. Highly recommended. Im betting on it.

The new carry on suitcase is going to be petfect for my European trip. It is roomy and complies with all the restrictions for an international carry on.

Excited to have the small version of the Copilot Roller. This thing is the perfect size for a 3 or 4 day trip and it's legal carry on size too!

I recently purchased this bag as a carry on for a short trip to Florida. I have wanted to get this bag for some time but, never found the right time out excuse. I love the roller skate wheels and the design is near perfect. Having many other Timbuk2 products and bags that have withstood the rest of time. I found one small issue for me. I am rough on my things but take care of them and I was hoping for a more sturdy handle for rolling the pice. Now don't get me wrong it works really well and that isn't a game changer by any means. I just would have expected different is all. That's only my opinion and I would buy another one. In fact my wife wants one!

I was in need of a need rollerboard and as I've been a user of their nearly indestructible messenger bag for years, I thought I'd give the luggage a try. Three days after receiving the bag, I checked it on trans-Pacific flight and I'm happy to say that it survived its maiden voyage just fine. I foresee it lasting many many trips. Warning: it is slightly too large as a carry-on especially for international carriers. Only request is just a few more color options - boring black makes luggage pickup a bit of a lottery

I haven't gotten the chance to use this bag yet, but am extremely excited to use it during my upcoming trip. The wheels were the deciding factor for me. I have never seen such rugged wheels on a suitcase in this price point. I love that the luggage opens like a clam shell, in half. Lastly, the quarantine pocket will be a great place to put chargers and travel docs for easy access.

Bought the Medium sized copilot initially, turned out to be too big. Very easy exchange in store for the Small which is just perfect for major Canadian airlines. The bag holds a large volume compared to others in its category and would not hesitate to purchase again! The skateboard wheel design is what gives you the larger volume - if it had 4 wheelies then you'd lose alot of space on the inside so it's a fair compromise in my opinion. You'll notice the build is made in such a way that replacing parts is super easy in the future - wheels, stops, handles are all accessible with an allen key- good to keep maintenance in mind since bags can take a beating the more you travel. Only wish it had built in compression straps to stuff more into it :)

This is my second co-pilot bag where I bought and used the first one for 15 years. Traveling 20 weeks a year, the bag was still strong and looking great. Only replaced it for the newer version because the wheel broke off and no replacement parts existed. Figured if I got over 200 trips on the first one I'd be stupid not to buy the same version. Love the new version of it and excited to use it for a couple of decades. Only con to the new bag is the shoe pouch which cuts down in the overall storage size. Size 8.5 shoe and I could barely fit them in it and the pocket is sewn in, taking away space could be used for other things. Will have to figure out other ways to use the pocket more effectively. Maybe for toiletries.

I have used this as a carry on bag for one trip so far. It performed well, and it fits nicely in the overhead storage area of the plane. It could be improved by a larger (thicker) external pocket. Overall, l'm glad I purchased this bag.

This bag is great! The bag fit everything for a 5 day trip, the skateboard wheels rolled awesome on every surface I encountered, and I even received a compliment. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a bag for travel. Thanks, Timbuk2!

Medium is the perfect carry-on size with plenty of room and easy access. Skate-board roller wheels are excellent. Recently traveled across country and this bag was a great tool. Wish I had bought one sooner!

I used the copilot for work travel. Typically 2-4 day trips. I can fit in a couple days worth of work clothes as well as something to wear to the gym. I find the bag is lightweight, well-constructed and rolls nicely. I've had it for 5 years now with frequent travel for 3 of those 5 (thanks COVID). I'd buy it again for sure. It seems they have a winner as they haven't changed the design since I bought mine. Just get it.

For over 40 years I travel the world. (actually, it is 60, but I was too young to remember the first 20 of my life) In all those years I gathered several millions of frequent flyer miles. So you can say I know what I am talking about based on experience. This carry-on suitcase is absolutely superb. It is the only suitcase that rolls smoothly. Why? Because the wheels are real skateboard wheels, they are designed to transport people on top of a board, and the wheels are placed as far as possible apart. The latter prevents the suitcase from toppling over. Yes, you only have two wheels, but that is good as the suitcase follows you where you go, unlike the four wheels ones where you have to force the suitcase to follow as soon as you have no smooth surface. The interior of the suitcase has a good finishing, allowing you to access the suitcase through multiple entry points. In my travel life I made mistakes for you, so you can order immediately the right roller suitcase.
