Fantastically built and roomy. I especially appreciate how it handles a pair of running shoes. Perfect size.

In no way a plug - I genuinely can't say enough good things about this carry on. Between being the perfect size for work trips (3-4 days) and more than enough room for weekend getaways, I'm hooked. The handles on all sides make it easy for quick boarding and de-planing. The front pocket easily fits my 13" laptop, and the front zip access to the interior is great for taking out or stowing essentials. Timbuk2 quality strikes again.

I travel often for work. Small fits perfectly in small commuter planes and medium works everywhere else. I have over 200 flights on each and they hold up great. The wheels are much more durable than spinner wheels and roll fast for those quick sprints between gates. 2 wheel bags hold a little more than a roller bag of the same size but they are not quite as convenient if you are pulling a checked bag also. Overall, fantastic bag especially if you're traveling with just carry on.

Great bag, perfect size for carry on.

I took this on a 3-day trip to NYC with my wife. Both of us packed all of our clothes and toiletries in this bag easily. We gate-checked the bag both ways, so I can't speak to how easy it is to get in an overhead compartment. Pulling it through the airport was fine -- it rolls well and the handle was comfortable. I was surprised at how useful the front zipper (under the laptop sleeve) actually was. I needed to access something I thought I would have to dig for, but it was trivial to go in from the front and grab it. The shoe pouch was perfect. I think it's going to be a great long-term travel friend!

This bag replaces my previous timbuk2 of the same size. That one lasted well over 10 years. The medium is my perfect bag for trips up to two weeks.

Love the copilot, we have a small and a medium and they complement each other very well, albeit a small difference in size it does make a difference!

I love it - except the wheels. They're don't turn or swivel, so sideways is difficult. - Equal-sized sections are really nice, though the open bag can be awkward. I put socks, undies, shoes in plastic bags on one side. Clothes on the other. - It's easy to carry up stairs, through stations. In Japan we were on and off trains with quick stops, narrow aisles, overhead storage. Heavy, cumbersome bags are crazy. My mom in the 1940's used a steamer trunk. Not me, never.

Bought this bag because I wasn't sure what size was good for me. It's a little too small. But I'll keep it as my back up for smaller trips

The suitcase had roomy front pockets and seems sturdy. I did not realize I would need a smaller size for international travel. I will be reordering a smaller size when they go on sale.

The whole setup of this bag is better than any roll-aboard I've ever used. Usually use it for a weeklong trip and everything fits perfect. The two front pockets allow for packing the last minute stuff without having to open it all again. Great handle mechanism, smooth wheels, light weight. Best choice on a suitcase I've ever made.

Have not yet travelled with it but I love it

Came just in time for a two and half week Europe trip. It was perfect, loved the compartment for the shoe. For a compact suitcase it fit everything I needed with some wiggle room for some small gifts. Handle was sturdy, wheels were smooth sailing and the suitcase was well made. Absolutely no complaints.

It is beautiful and functional for traveling and many things fit in it. The only bad thing is that when I bought it on the website it said that delivery was in three days and it took 7 days.

Bought this bag for a trip to Scotland. Love. love the front pocket perfect for pulling out my passport and boarding passes and such with ease. Loved the separate zippered areas they made it easy to pull out only what i needed in between various lodgings.

There is no better carry on bag. It's been around the world with me. I have beat the crap out of this thing for 10+ years, loaded it with two pairs of ski boots sometimes and the heaviest stuff i could find (that I didn't want to add to weight in checked baggage) almost like I am trying to destroy it. It will not be beaten. I am on my second handle and it's got lots of life left. Most importantly, there is no carry on sized bag that can hold more than this one, period.

I'm in my first, 10 flight, one month trip with the XL. I already had the roll-aboard version of this one and I use that regularly for business travel. I love the open book design and the ability to keep clean and dirty clothes separate easily in two compartments. The top, easily accessible container turns out to be perfect for a pear of shoes when I need to change shoes between running through an airport and a business meeting. The suitcase is clearly extremely sturdy. I have used the smaller one for 3 years now and it looks like new. I love the wheels as well and the handle. Super solid.

Great suitcase! We just purchased our third one; this one is for our son. I'll continue to purchase more of these suitcases. I can fit so much in this suitcase. The small is the perfect carryon.

I'm a heavy traveler for work and prefer the two wheel upright suitcases to the spinners. The quality and layout of this bag is great. And l, it is very accommodating size. With domestic weight limits of 50lbs i have to be thoughtful how to pack, it is easy to over fill this bag. I am glad I bought it and would recommend it. In ready to buy the carry on model.
