After hearing my daughter rave about the support, I was disappointed with the fit for me. Found the straps to be uncomfortable and irritating when trying on so had to return.

I'm returning the Vionic Amber. They are comfortable, but they look clunky. They look like something my great great grandmother would wear.

I ordered these after reading the mixed reviews because I hoped they would relieve my plantar fasciitis. I was very disappointed to see how cheaply they were made. The velcro fastenings won't hold up long, and the uppers are extremely thin. The sole would probably have helped me but the rest of the sandal is not worth the price I paid. I will be returning these and looking for another brand.

The straps seem really wide that make it look more like a river shoe than a dressy shoe. These are built for a wide foot so when I snugged up the Velcro straps the shoes looked really stupid with the excess straps sticking straight out.

Can only wear Orthaheel technology shoes and was excited to find a sandal in size 12. Since previous reviewers stated the ugly decorative emblems could easily be removed by sliding off, I ordered the shoe. Be aware now that, contrary to earlier reviews, if you don't want the decoration you don't want this shoe as they are no longer removable.

Most of the shoes I have bought from Zappos were wonderful but these were not. The did not look in person as good as they did on my computer. They look like "ole lady shoes".

The sole works well with my pain heel but the rest of the sandal seems poorly made. The straps are scratchy and the sole seems like cheap material. Not sure how long these will hold up. Overall, I was disappointed. I would not recommend these.

I wanted to like these. I need a pair of white sandals and I like my sandals to have a back. These felt great on my feet but were not cute.

This ortho provided way too much arch support for me. The inside of the straps are stiff and abrasive in the gold cork. The look and wide width would have been perfect otherwise.

These are super comfortable sandals due to the soft foot bed and arch support. The problem is that they run about 1 size too large and seem to work best for folks with long toes. I know because I tried on several sizes at the local shoe store in a the same style.

Vionics are the current rage among those of us with severe foot problems. I have had ugly custom orthotics and ugly support shoes, and was eager to try these. I like that they are stylish. I like the potential to adjust so many areas. I have had them less than a month. However, my feet slip all over in them, even at the tightest adjustment. The heel strap overlaps the first instep strap at the side, causing them both to stick out - poor design. All of the velcro straps curl up, looking cheap. The center strap slides sideways, causing the wearer to constantly stop walking and adjust it. The velcro is already losing its ability to hold. The built-in arch appears like a good thing, but the straps will not adjust so that my arch is over the shoe arch. I have worn these, but will ask Zappos if they will please let me return them. To me, that is a lot of money for an expensive shoe that does not live up to its reputation.

Absolutely by far the most uncomfortable sandal ever!! Sizing was sooo huge. I always wear a size 9 in everything! My husband wears a men's size 12 and these actually fit him...ugh!! The material is soooo stiff and the velcro is "off". so that the sandals look ridiculous! Too late to return these horrible things, so I'm definetely throwing them away!

These shoes were so disappointing I'm not even sure where to begin. The straps connecting the ankle strap to the shoe were too long so I couldn't get the heel to fit tight to my foot and it was awkward to walk in. The straps across the foot were able to be tightened with the velcro, but the material was so abrasive that I couldn't imagine wearing them for any length of time. And the outsole was very rigid, again making them awkward to walk in. I bought these sandals for a planned trip to Europe this summer to use as my primary walking shoe, unfortunately they just are not cut out for that. I am especially disappointed given the high price point. This was my first time purchasing a pair of Vionic shoes and I won't be giving the brand another try. Returning.

These were so disappointing as the material was quite rough and stiff. I had ordered down a size based on reviews though while some people mentioned that the straps with Velcro were overly long--the pair I got had straps that were too short if anything. If you adjust them at all to be something other than the tightest "setting"--there is rough, exposed Velcro to snag clothing. The insole was also quite rough and hard, and the materials were not what you would reasonably expect for an expensive pair of casual sandals.

I have worn Vionic sandals for years and even though I think they're fairly ugly, I absolutely love the arch support, flexibility, and ability to adjust with multiple straps for a secure fit. However, this last pair is NOT of the quality I am used to in Vionic and I have worn them for less than 2 months! The surface is wearing off on the edges of the straps and on the underside of the main strap and the velcro doesn't adhere well enough to keep the sandals on my foot.

Less attractive in real life than in the photos. There are plastic decorative “buttons” on the top that detract from the look of the shoe. All the straps are Velcro which I didn’t quite understand from the product description. I had to crank them all the way closed and the fit was still too wide. If you have a wide foot maybe they would be ok? Mine is just average width. I’m returning.

For the fashion conscious. They look nice but do not appear practical for touring.

Don't know who they are sizing this shoe for, however it is HUGE. The front of toe area is a full inch longer than any size 11 shoe I have ever seen. Looks to be a size man's 13!!! Really disappointed as the shoe itself, if it were sized properly for a woman's foot they would be really cute sandals.
