I have mixed feelings about these shoes. When I first got them, I really like the way they looked and felt. They hurt my arch just a bit the first few times I wore them, but then that went away. They got wet in a rainstorm and now the footbed smells terrible. I cannot get the odor out, though I've left them out to dry in the sun and in my garage. For the price of the shoe, I expect a lot more. Very disappointed and will not buy their shoes again if this is what they are like.

Sadly as much as I wanted these adjustable strap, cushioned intersole shoes...they made my feet smell, and felt sloppy.

The soles of these sandals are great – excellent arch support and the microfiber covering is very soft. And the sandals are cuter than expected. Unfortunately, the uppers are stiff plastic with sharp edges. So a major fail overall.

I have worn Vionic shoes for a number of years now, but I am so disappointed in the quality of craftsmanship now. So I am returning these. Very unhappy!

The shoe fit but I won't wear it. First, the arch support is good (as good as Alegria). But this shoe is not well made- the velcro did not extend to provide enough support for my medium width foot and I felt like it could come off or I would slide over the side of the shoe (not enough velcro). Part of this problem might be that it just looks flimsy to me. There is not much foot coverage so you better love your toes- ALL of your toes! The strap down the "center" was not down the center but was off center so I thought the look was strange- I read one review who said the took that strap off BUT then it would be even flimsier I think. I did not like the fit, the feel, or the look but I also am older, do not have gloriously beautiful toes ALL of which I want to show the whole length of (actually noone over 18 should show their toes, in my view) and my 68 year old friend who THINKS she has pretty toes is wrong. I'm sticking with Alegria and Dansko- much sturdier and equally good arch support.

Very pretty to look at, but very uncomfortable to wear. The wider width is hard to adjust with the velcro straps. Did not like them at all.

I was excited to see they still had this style IT ENDED. I don't know what they have done to this shoe but the sole is now hard hard hard and it has a strange turn in. So disappointed. Then I started to read review. I had bought this style in every color befor they got bought out in 2014 That explain it.So back they go.

Excellent fit, most comfortable sandals ever..however, the Velcro ripped off after a couple of months on two separate pairs.

I loved these shoes, but only had them less than four months and the velcro has completely detached from the strap. Cannot even wear them now. Too expensive for that!

I've had this shoe for a little over a year and loved it - until the velcro began pulling away from the strap that goes around my heel. I've tried sewing the velcro back onto the strap, but it is still trying to pull away. Today I'm buying a different style Vionics sandal that has buckles instead of velcro.

I am recovering from an injury and I discovered that Vionic makes sandals I can wear. I have been limited to shoes that can accommodate my bulky custom orthotics, which meant no sandals for me. I have 3 pair of the Vionic flip flops, and I thought that AMBER would give me a little more support so I could walk longer distances. Sadly the AMBER styling is very disappointing. The black croc looks plastic-y and the velco straps make the shoes look inexpensive. The ends of the straps do not lie flat against the shoes - they look unfinished. Buckles would be so much better looking. Frankly, they look like "old lady shoes". All that said, I did not return them because they support my arches, are comfortable and I have no other options. With a little more effort in styling, these could be great. After receiving these, I looked for other Vionic styles, and while there are a few that look better, butthey not not come in size 12.

I originally purchased these sandals in a wide which were too wide. I guess these sandals are not cut for my foot because they are not comfortable. The medium width fit better but the straps cut into my feet. These Vionics are great because they have 4 adjustable straps so I hope you will have better luck than I did!!

These sandals are so wide and large that I could not tighten the heel strap tight enough to feel comfortable. I love the fact that this sandal has 4 adjustable straps, but tightening the 3 foot straps did not make improve the comfort. I am exchanging them for a medium with and crossing my fingers! Thanks Zappos for being the BEST company EVER!!!

I wanted so much to love these shoes, but they did not work for me. I have very flat (no arch) naturally wide (usually WW) feet, which makes shoe shopping difficult. I am happy to report that the W width should fit WW people nicely due to the wide base and adjustable straps. Design wise they are flawless. Ultimately the only reason I had to return them is because when I put my flat feet into them shoe with solid arch support, they made my feet hurt intolerably within a few minutes. They are not recommended for people with flat feet/no arch. They hurt my feet. But I imagine for those with arches or weak arches, these shoes will be a dream.

After hearing my daughter rave about the support, I was disappointed with the fit for me. Found the straps to be uncomfortable and irritating when trying on so had to return.

I'm returning the Vionic Amber. They are comfortable, but they look clunky. They look like something my great great grandmother would wear.

I ordered these after reading the mixed reviews because I hoped they would relieve my plantar fasciitis. I was very disappointed to see how cheaply they were made. The velcro fastenings won't hold up long, and the uppers are extremely thin. The sole would probably have helped me but the rest of the sandal is not worth the price I paid. I will be returning these and looking for another brand.

The straps seem really wide that make it look more like a river shoe than a dressy shoe. These are built for a wide foot so when I snugged up the Velcro straps the shoes looked really stupid with the excess straps sticking straight out.

Can only wear Orthaheel technology shoes and was excited to find a sandal in size 12. Since previous reviewers stated the ugly decorative emblems could easily be removed by sliding off, I ordered the shoe. Be aware now that, contrary to earlier reviews, if you don't want the decoration you don't want this shoe as they are no longer removable.
