I bought these sandals for comfort, so they do quite well. The footbed, although a little wide, is superbly cushioned. The velcro straps are long, unwieldy and dominate the look of the sandal. I've been told the shoes look a bit like duck feet, which is disappointing, but they are comfortable so I will be wearing them all summer long.

I agree with Kales. Since Orthoheel was sold the quality isn' the same. The velcro doesn't last, making it impossible to wear.

I have a very high arch and usually wear a 8 1/2 -- these were going to be my answer to getting out of Teva's 24/7. Super comfortable, and I love that all the bands can be adjusted with velcro, making the fit just right for whoever wants them. However, after wearing them around the house a bit, I realized that the wonderful arch support was a bit high -- meaning that it hit higher up on my arch than where my arch actually is. I think they are probably wonderful shoes, just not for my feet. Style? Old lady looking, sadly...but if they are comfortable, who cares? However, due to the arch thing, they are going back.

I wear an 8.5 to 9 in most shoes/sandals, and I always order the 9 when I am trying a new manufacturer. I accidentally ordered this in a Wide. BIG mistake. They were H U G E. I could probably wear an 8 in this sandal. They would probably be very comfortable if I had the right size on. I got the "pearlized white" color which was a disappointment as well. To me, it gave the sandal a cheap look. Returned, no hassles. Love Zappos service.

First off, I ordered these in pearlized white. They are not white, they look more like 'metallic ivory' in person. The fact that the little metal tiles down the top actually ARE white makes the situation more obvious. Then there's the length. They fit great from the heel to the ball of my foot. From there they stuck way out past the ends of my toes. I really wish the company would make 1/2 sizes! These are going back.

Plastic, a lot of cheap plastic! The back strap was so uncomfortable, cutting into the skin with a sharp edge that I had to cut it off. Now sandals look better and it is possible to wear them. I kept them because they are comfortable, give good arch support.

The jury is still out on this shoe; I still may return it. The footbed is supportive & has some cushion, like the other Vionic shoes I own, but the upper man-made straps are stiff & I'm afraid they will rub me if I wear it for any length. I continue to try it out because I desperately need a couple pair of supportive sandals that I can wear for a whole day out in the heat The Vionic thongs I own work well, but the material used on the piece between the toes still rubs some after having them and wearing them a lot for a year. I am concerned the stiff material on the upper part of this shoe will do the same. I wish Vionic would use leather for the thong piece and the uppers in their shoes!

I had high hopes for these sandals. However, while they were comfortable as far as support, the plastic-like material did not feel good across the tops of my feet. I can only imagine how unpleasant would be when the humidity kicks in. Also, the material used makes the shoes look cheap! Have seen better at Payless! I normally do not write bad reviews, but I am so very disappointed. Can't send these back fast enough.

This shoe does help put my feet in the right position. However, I wish they used a better material for the upper part. It is too stiff and scratches my skin. Because of this, I don't use them as often as I planned.

Great shoes, provides comfort. I ordered the first pair and in a couple of months the Velcro on the belt would not hold, so ordered another pair. The velcro on second pair also went bad very quickly. Other than the Velcro issue, the shoes are great and offer support in the right places.

I have large, wide feet and I am diabetic so they are very sensitive. I ordered this shoe in black and navy. Unfortunately they seemed to be large for my feet. I normally wear an 11w and that is what I ordered but the foot bed stuck out quite a bit in front and on the sides. My feet are already large, I didn't need all that extra in front. Also, the black was very stiff. It hurt my feet try them on. The navy were softer. I was looking for good arch support and that was fine but too many other problems. I am returning both but I love Zappos and have ordered replacements already!

I loved the style. After couple of weeks of wearing them, they did not provide me with any arch support and I had to stop wearing them.

I have a love/hate relationship with these sandals. The soles are fabulous! I've got bunions, plantar fasciitis, and now my toes are starting to experience sharp pains. So, in short, my feet are a mess; and I was getting ready to spend a Summer in thick-soled, ugly old-lady shoes, when I read about Vionics and thought I'd give it a try. Firstly, these sandals are perfect for folks with wide feet due to bunions, because the straps fall on either side of my painful joints and so I am able to wear them without pain and pinching in the bunion area. The sole provides fantastic arch support, and this fake suede material that covers it is pretty comfy and recovers after getting soaked very well so it's still fairly comfy, even after the inevitable "gunking up" that happens with all sandals. However, I do have one big complaint about these sandals, and that is due to the amazingly poorly designed velcro straps around the back of the heel. There is no metal ring or additional loop for the strap to hook around before attaching the velcro; so all of the strain is placed on the velcro itself, which results in it wearing out very quickly so that your sandals are coming undone while you're trying to walk. Very annoying and disappointing in such a high-priced shoe. I'm hoping the company redesigns this part of the sandal. If they do, I'll buy 'em again next Summer. Currently, I'm going to have to play cobbler and try to fix my sandals with some fresh velcro myself!

After a few month wearing these shoes they make a very load squeak with every step. The Velcro isn't secure anymore either.

I really wanted to like these. I read the glowing reviews and thought the shoes would be perfect. But they were very uncomfortable and I ended up returning them. It felt like the support in the sole was hard and not padded. Thanks to Zappos' terrific customer service I was able to keep these for several weeks and tried them on indoors on the carpet many times. I did, however have to return them. I ordered a somewhat different pair of Merrell's and they are great.

I thank Zappos for switching a Vionic shoe for the sandal. I am new to Vionic and found Zappos the best way to buy their products. The orthoheel is a big yes for my body alignment. However, wearing the sandals for a month now, I am having issues with the velcro holding my foot in a firm, reliable way. Lots of velcro on this sandal! It feels comfortable though. I know if the problem continues, Zappos will help to resolve the matter. Consider getting the Orthaheel insert. I will on my next order or exchange. I recommend you ask if the photo is a correct version of the product.

This is an update regarding my sandal purchase. Definitely isn't the same quality as my first pair as I have now worn them for the day. My feet need the arch support of my first pair. My ball of foot hurts with these and did not with my first pair. Why companies change a good product is beyond me. Might be for their profit lines. Thought I had found a great shoe for my metatarsalgia. But will not be purchasing Vionics again unless their product improves.

They are wide enough but because of the placement of the straps my little toe barely made it under the top strap and felt like it was going to come out all the time so it was uncomfortable. The arch is really high so if you are flat footed at all this could be uncomfortable. The arch was a little high for me.

The Vionic three strap was a beautiful sandal. Good arch support, however, I am unable to keep the three straps with the velcro stay in place. They do not give me good support because I am unable to keep the straps stable. Perhaps, I just got a defective pair. I want to keep these sandals, I thought about super gluing the straps, But how do I get the sandal on. I think I going to have to send the sandal back, and I have not completed paying for them, yet.

I have never tried Vionics before but suffer from plantar fasciitis and thought these sounded great and looked cute. Unfortunately, these shoes were neither. The sole was VERY comfortable and supportive, but very narrow. Also, the straps were very rough on the inside that touches your foot. Worst of all, these things made my feet look hideous, they are not flattering at all. I will probably try some other Vionics, because as I said the sole was very comfortable.

I am disappointed in the shoes since my heel still kills me when I take a walk. Really disappointing! I love the shoes, they are beautiful but my right heel kills me when I take my 4 mile morning walks.

If you have excess weight, the velcro makes noise as you walk, as it strains to stay attached. (The velcro doesn't go through a loop for extra weight support.) It just goes across the top of your foot and attaches. I wanted to love these sandals but will sadly, return them.

Vionic with Orthaheel makes very few styles in a wide width which is not wide enough for my feet since I need a wide toe box with a narrow heel. Though I wanted a slip-on with a little higher heel, this style was the closest. The outside of my feet overlap the outside edge of the soles between the small toes and the arch. I contacted Vionic who replied to expect wider styles in August. Vionic with Orthaheel was recommended by my foot doctor because of plantar fasciitis.

I ordered these in wide but they were not quite wide enough! Wish they were because I like the shoes. Zappos is the only place to buy shoes.

Poor material. Shoe did not fit close to foot. Little arch support. Stitching on shoe hurt my foot.
