This shoe is VERY comfortable. I have a history of plantar fasciitis. I have a wide foot and a high arch and instep, which is a disaster when trying to find comfortable footwear. These VIONIC sandals are plenty wide enough, and because I can adjust the entire sandle with the velcro straps, it's not too tight over the top of my foot. The arch support is excellent. In my shoes, I wear a doctor made orthotic for arch support, but these do the trick, so I'm able to wear a comfortable sandal. I am VERY happy with these sandals!

This shoe runs very large. Based on what others said, I ordered a 9M, even though in most shoes I am a 10. My feet run slightly narrow, so I thought I would try this shoe as it is adjustable. The 9M fit fine as I was able to adjust the straps, and the arch support felt good and strong. However, the rest of the sole felt a little too squishy for me and I need rigid support. Also, the straps are rather scratchy. I overpronate severely on my left side, and this shoe just didn't address that problem at all. I would say if you have a medium to wide foot with no foot issues, this may be a great shoe for you. I will be returning this pair and keep looking for a style that works for me. So far, Taos Trulie is the closest I can come.

I love Vionic sandals and these did not disappoint. They are true to size and very comfortable. All of the straps adjust, so you can customize the fit and feel to your own feet.

I liked the looks of this sandal better in the pictures than on my feet. Maybe it was the cork color or the multiple straps, but looked too busy in my size 5.5 W feet. Would probably look great on a larger foot.

These Vionic Amber sandals are great for my Plantar Fasciitis. BUT having been a foot model for shoe manufacturers while in college, I believe I accurately know my shoe size and the foot bed on these run large. If you are a half size you would do well to order down a size instead of up, if you wear a size 5 these will extend 1/2 inch or more beyond your toes which might not be safe for walking. Sadly, they’re not available in “Narrow” so the footbed appears somewhat ungainly in width. They still fit snug and comfortably because of the nicely adjustable velcro straps. But if you have a truly narrow foot like I do, you’ll have too much strap flailing over the ends which doesn’t look great and sticks to the carpet when you press the gas while driving. This might deserve a trip to the shoe repair to have them shortened since the right foot is needed to press the brake also. I wish the straps were not as wide and they didn't have the hardware so the look would be more dressy, but maybe that will be something for next years' model. All in all, a great sandal with a few caveats for those with narrow or small feet.

I really can't decide if I want to keep these. I wanted something comfy and cute, and they are coming up a little short on the cute. The Velcro is a little too noticeable. I also do not like the metal design on the vertical strap. As another reviewer noted, you can remove this strap. But I don't like the shoe with just the horizontal straps. The shoe is well made and comfortable. For my foot it almost feels like too much arch support, which I have never encountered before!

I found this sandal to be attractive, the cork makes for a great neutral color, and it fit my quite wide feet very well. As a matter of personal preference however, I don't care for the way the toe section of the sandal is shaped to slant upwards. I feel like I am going to catch it on something and trip a bit. As another matter of personal taste, I didn't care for the center strap metal embellishments - I think they detract rather than enhance the sandal appearance. Fortunately, the center strap can be easily removed and left off. In the end, I decided to go with a neutral colored sandal from Walking Cradles instead.

These might have been the most comfortable shoes I'd ever put on my feet, but they were a bit too matronly for me. I tried to make them look cute, but no matter what I did, they just weren't the right style for me. (This is for the cork colored ones - other colors may look better)

My second pair. Really like them however I truly wish the straps were more delicate and feminine. Right now they look more senior than I may be ready for.

Too long, heel too wide, beautiful shoe. Too bad it doesn't come smaller.

The style and color of these shoes (white with aqua accent) were a miracle find! They perfectly match a summer dress I purchased and I love them.

although the straps are adjustable, I felt like I had it tightened down to the nth degree to make it fit my foot. liked the arch support though

I need shoes with strong arch support for Plantar Fasciitis. These shoes do the job well. Improvements that would love to see on these shoes would be making them in 1/2 sizes and using a material that would be cooler on the feet. I sometime feel like I'm the only person in the world who has feet that run hot. Having said all that it is my second pair of Vionics and I will be buying more as they really do the job to allow me to walk without pain.
