I bought these sandals a little over a month ago in Blue - 9 wide. I am very glad I went the wide width. I found they were comfortable right from the beginning. I also like the idea you can remove the buttons, by sliding off the button strip. It just gives it a little different look. This shoe is comfortable as the arch fits my feet perfectly and the straps are comfortable across the foot, and adjustable as well. I do wish they would make this sandal with about a 1.5-2" heel. SImilar to sandals you used to sell about 5 years ago. A little heel helps alieviate any back and knee pain I get. I've always have great luck with the Vionic sandals, over the closed toe shoes. Thank you

Very difficult to manage all the Velcro straps, especially the heel strap. I am 86 years old.

These sandals provide excellent support for my plantar fasciitis. However, they are slightly ugly with the velcro. I appreciate the easy of use and will definitely be wearing them, but they aren't as cute as I thought they'd be.

This is a darling shoe and I love the style, however, I will be returning it because the strap that goes around the heel hits the bottom of my ankle. Think over time this would be annoying if not causing a blister.

I agree w another reviewer about Vionic being inferior to Orthoheel in comfort and consistency. AND STYLE. In this case, just not as attractive as my original pair. The buttons on top are plastic and not attractive. Pretty comfortable but I returned for other choices

My shoe size is 11-1/2, which usually means I wear a 12. The 12 in these shoes was waaay too big, so I swapped for the 11, which fits perfectly. The straps at first felt a little rough, but I stopped noticing that after the first ten minutes or so. I have flat feet and find the arch support just right - no pain.

I generally like these shoes and will keep them, but the straps are way too long and that makes it hard for me to adjust them properly on my B width foot. The need to move the Velcro in closer and shorten the straps a bit. I am keeping them, but the straps sticking out is not ideal. Wish I could fix that.

Amber sandal is most comfortable
Wish it came it cuter colors like red or black patent. Some other styles are in those colors. If you look at bottom of vionic amber you will see a rose shape on the sole. That is very supportive. The vionic farra has a wavy design on bottom. It is not as supportive. Wish vionic would give us dressier options with comfort.

Got these for my mom. She loves them because they keep her stable, have great arch support and look good. They are also great because each of the straps are Velcro and she can adjust them whenever she needs to.

I liked the style and the fact that all the straps are adjustable. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a proper fit and just weren't attractive on my feet.

With all of the adjustable straps, this shoe provides a snug fit for my narrow feet. And good arch support. But it just looked...cheap.

Vionics are the best shoes for my high arches! Love them, but this sandal is below their usual quality. The decorative cork on the straps started peeling after one month. The Velcro straps are made for chubby feet; super long. And what's with all the Velcro? It makes the shoes look so geriatric. I like Vionics because they DON'T usually look like industrial orthotics, but this pair does!

Like the shoe except that my instep is not that high and when I fasten strap hits below the velcro on the shoe. Also, the strap nearest my toes rub the area just behind my toes. Edge of strap should be softened somehow.

Fit was ok & the footbed was super comfy feeling. However, the straps over the top of my foot were just too sharp & scratchy on my foot to keep the shoes. Hopefully I can find another style with this brand as the footbed was so nice.

Good looking shoe. I like the feel underfoot, too. The fit was good, but the straps are too "hard", and therefore uncomfortable, and cannot be tightened as well as should be. Also, first strap was too far back on foot - too much "toe".

I thought these would be for me. However, I usually wear size 7, these are too large, the arch did not hit me in the right place, so I am returning them.

I ordered a size 6, which is my regular size. The fit was good. They are cute, but the straps on the top of the shoe are not comfortable. My skin is sensitive. After trying on the shoes, I had hives on top of my feet. The foot bed seems comfortable, but the straps don’t have any sort of padding or soft material next to the foot.

The style is lovely. I really love cork but they are way too big in my usual size 8. No half sizes and I'm afraid to go down to a 7 as they would be too narrow. Not as comfortable as I would have liked. I will buy another pair of Vionics.

These were just too plastic-y for me. I have a pair in the cork and have worn them hard for over a year. They were soft and I loved them, but the Velcro lost it's stick. I am taking them to a repair shop for new Velcro, because I love them, but these black ones were just to rigid with plastic for me.

The shoes fit me well and I liked the look of the shoes however I have plantar fasciitis and need shoes with better support such as Naot. I love some other styles from Vionic (closed toe shoes) but I have not had much luck with their sandals.

The Amber VIONICs are comfortable however, they look cheap and the Velcro on the main strap came unstitched within a few months of purchase. I can’t wear them any more unless I find a shoe repair shop. Disappointing quality for the price paid. I have since switched to Birkenstock and am much happier.

Vionic slippers have cured (at least for the time being) and bad flare up of plantar fasciitis, so I thought I'd try some of their other shoes. These were reasonably comfortable, but even with the adjustable straps, would never be able to fit my slightly narrow foot in a way that looked or felt right. I think if you have a wider foot they probably would be great. Not as much support as the slippers, but better than most sandals. Still looking for a good sandal for walking and traveling.

The Vionic footbed felt great, but the straps were downright painful -- stiff and scratchy on my feet. I tried to keep them on my feet a bit to see if they felt any better, but once around the kitchen table was all I could take. They are going back.

I was excited to get this shoe as it appeared to have good arch support and look fashionable. However, I was quickly disappointed. These shoes are very uncomfortable and I doubt I will wear them much unless I can modify them to make them more comfortable. The reason they are uncomfortable is because the underside of the straps which rests against your foot has a cheap plastic like material which is uncomfortable when it rubs against your foot. The few times I’ve worn then I couldn’t wait to get them off. Frankly for $78.00 I would’ve expected a nice lining on the inside of the straps. I’m hesitate to order the Vionic brand again if this is the quality one can expect.
At the same time I had ordered a Spenco sandal and that sandal had a nice microfiber on the inside of the strap that rested against your foot. That is all this Vionic sandal would need to make it ok. Since I’ve worn them and can no longer return then I’ll try to glue some fleece or moleskin to the inside of the straps to make them tolerable to wear.
What I do like, Zappos. They have such great service with fast shipping and easy exchanges. Online shopping at a company like this works well if you live in a rural area a long ways from stores.
