You might think that these are going to be hot and synthetic against the skin but just the opposite.... MUCH more comfortable than cotton boxers and you hardly notice that you are wearing them - like going commando, but safely. Great if you normally chafe when hiking

My teenage son traveled overseas last year for a month and took along 2 pairs of exofficio boxers. The actually washed out one pair while he wore the other and declared these the best boxers ever. He recently asked me to begin replacing all of his boxers with exofficio due to the comfort and recommended his dad follow suit.

I was a staunch anti-boxer-lobbyist for as long as I've worn pants. All my friends would say, "look...there goes MikeyOC...Mr. Boxer-Brief himself." And sure I loved the mix of balance and sway that BB's had, until my love affair with these Boxers began. I never thought I could feel so alive, so awake...so free. Thank you Exofficio Boxers. Thank you. You should change your name to the Give-N-Live Boxer.

My first pair of these has lasted over 6 years and still looks and feels like new, no loss of color or elasticity. This is really a great product. I just purchased 4 pair. These last and feel so much better than the typical cotton underwear.

Comfortable, looks good, wash and dry quickly, and wears well. My first pair is three years old, and is still in great shape.

My husband liked the two pair that I purchased so well that I ordered him 6 more pair in different colors. He is a big tall guy. The boxer brief fits him really well. The underwear works fantastic in our hot and humid weather.

I love this underwear. It is a little tight when you put them on after washing, but they loosen up nicely and keep you dry all day long. No more swamp-*ss. I used to be a boxer guy but no more.

I've been buying these boxers for years and they retain the same quality no matter how many washings, kayak trips, mountain climbs, etc. they go through. Washing them at 6pm an dthey are dry by 6am - without a dreyer. You can count on them! I realize some may balk at the price, but they will last you for 5 or 6 years, maybe longer.

Been wearing these for many years. Only buy new ones when the elastic gives out at the waistband after about 2+ years. Comfortable, first and foremost. Wonderful for travel as the company blurb says but I ended up using them for everyday after a few long trips. Highly recommended.

I was worried about paying this much for underwear - but took the plunge based on some advice in a book. These underwear are the real deal - comfortable, lightweight, compact when travelling and easy to care for. I highly recommend these for anyone who travels even a little, and also for those who want confortable underwear for everyday use! Thoroughly impressed!

I bought the boxers and boxer briefs in preparation of overseas travel. I had researched online and watched quite a few travel videos linking me to Ex Officio's products and decided to give them a try. I'm very satisfied with how the feel and how quickly they wash and dry making for some light packing for weekends or even weeks. They feel almost silky as far as synthetics go, very light when you wear them and don't dampen from moisture as much as cotton undergarments. You're going to want to break them in before travelling as they are a tad stiff out of the packaging to get the wrinkles out. Certainly hand wash a few times to get the antibacterial coating to release (it turned my sinkwater bluish-green the first 2 times). Combo this with a packtowl or shamwow and you'll have shorts that dry out in under 2hrs. If there's any gripes to be had it's that there's a lack of variety in print/colors which I think they're working on. The other is you're never going to wear or pack just one so I wish they sold them in 2-packs for $40-45.

Don't know why they are being discontinued.
I've bought replacements every year or so when the waistband starts to lose it's elastic. The cloth remains like new so I could keep wearing them if I had to.

I bought a pair for my husband in the Seattle airport because they had flies on them (he's a fly-fisherman). Turned out to be the best purchase, because he loves them! I ended up buying him a bunch more on the website. Hands down he says they are the most comfortable underwear he's ever worn, and this is coming from a guy who would only wear Calvin Klein underwear. Lightweight, quick-drying, and he loves the design of the fly. Now this is all he will wear under his pants. Bye bye Calvin!

I have bought them before and love them. Great fit. Quick dry--so they are great for travel. I tried to save some money by purchasing a competing product from Hanes. Big mistake. The elastic waist-band on the Hanes product curls up. The Ex Officio product is built right.

The first time I bought these for my son and husband to use flyfishing in the Bahamas. They said they were really comfortable and dried quickly. This is my second order. I also bought the ladies and will use them on our next trip.

Love everything about the boxer briefs, except the color selection. Would like to see more neutral colors - heather gray, navy blue, tan/beige etc.

All jokes aside, these have to be the very best pair of underwear I have spent any time in. I prefer boxer briefs but hate how after a while the leg openings eventually stretch out, ride up, and make an other wise great day start to go bad fast. The Exo britches keep the same fit all day long day in day out. As an overlander I spend miles traveling in remote areas exploring different areas of North America. These briefs offer support and comfort from the moment you climb out of the tent till you climb back in. The antimicrobial lining gives those of us in the backcountry a little my seat of the pants time if you know what I mean. And when it is time for a wash, any clean water source and a bar of soap, with their fast drying time, makes clean-up a breeze. These will be the underwear us backcountry adventurers will never cut up when the TP runs out. Try one pair, once, and you will dread laundry day as you pull up those antique cotton boxer briefs.
