I got these because I go barefoot all the time and need some foot protection at home and in my barefoot dance class. But do pay attention to the directions that say to work into them gradually. Your feet need time to strengthen in order to take full advantage of the five finger concept and to get used to your toes having dividers between them.

I am absolutely in love with these FiveFingers. I love how they feel, and I love the look. This is my second pair, and I'm getting ready to order my third because I'm afraid the style will be discontinued and I want to make sure I have enough to last me a long time. There is a break-in period if you've never worn FiveFingers, but I've worn them for years, so I wear them all day with no problem whatsoever. Like going barefooted, but better! Just throw them in the washer, I don't dry mine, I let them air dry. Order you a pair, you won't regret it!

LOVE your shoes wish I could advertise for you all everyone love my pair that I have had for 2-3 years I don't have a lot of money so I would like to work for you all. I am in Disaster Relief Team of New Mexico I go all over the USA helping during disasters and everyone loves my shoes. I love them. I see folks from all the states and I could sell them because they all love them. I wish I had a pair of the magenta, as soon as I get my ss check I will complete my order. Love them so very much.

I liked the black so much I bought the magenta and red but am sending them back. The magenta looked dark pinkish on the website but they live up to their name and are quite purple. The red looked orange to me on the website but I figured I'd take a chance since the magenta really are magenta but red is definitely not "red". I'd call them coral. These are my first pair of FiveFingers so I can't compare the sizes but in this very light weight style there seems to be room for play. I'm wearing both a 40 and a 41 in black as run around shoes and have received lots of compliments on them. They take the place of a little black flat and my toes feel great being separated.

I love these silly little shoes! I have always preferred going barefoot, but it really leaves my feet rough and ugly. These give me the "barefoot" feel and leave my feet clean and soft. They are different and fun. Even my Chiropractor wears them and recommended them. I've ordered another pair in a different style, but I wish they came in more colors. Be aware that size chart gives one measurement, but when ordered, you have something different, e.g. 40 = shoe size 9 and 40 = shoe size 8. Big difference. Would I still recommend these shoes? Absolutely!

Okay, so I was hesitant about the whole 5-toed shoe. But these are amazing. I used them on vacation every day, nth to just be around the hotel room, walk around, and we're perfect for jogging and riding bike on the beach. These are great! I am getting an extra pair as backup (though I expect these to last a while). As far as size, these run pretty much true to size.

I love these shoes!!! I prefer to go barefoot most of the time, and you definitely get that barefoot feeling with these shoes. These are the most comfortable shoes in my closet. They do run one size big. I usually wear a size 39, but I bought a size 38 and they fit perfectly. I will be buying another pair!

My Pilates instructor recommended these shoes to help keep a grip on the Megaformer. After getting over the brief adjustment period (as these are like gloves for your feet) I had found that I was able to do all of the exercises without slipping. Keep in mind, I think these shoes are extremely comfortable, however I only limit the use to when I am doing my Pilates workout. Would recommend for those doing traditional Pilates and Megaformer workouts.

A friend of mine went to Hawaii recently...she couldn't say enough about these. She had bought a pair to take for watersports. She walked around barefoot most of the time, but one afternoon the sidewalk had become blisteringly hot. After literally running back to the hotel she grabbed her Vibrams. She realized they were perfect to carry in her purse for when she needed them. She even has a great picture wearing them on the Kilauea lava fields. The guides didn't want her to, but once they reached the lava fields she put them and walked around. The sharp lava tore them up the mesh sides in places and the mesh let the heat in, but she still got as close to the molten lava flow as everyone else who was in hiking boots. She even has a closeup shot of the toes of her shoes smoking while she poked a stick in the lava before she had to jump back. Her Vibrams survived the rest of her visit and she got a new pair as soon as she got back. She's thinking of sending a picture to Vibram showing her torn and slightly melted shoes and the picture of her standing next to the lava in them.

I love Vibrams and own several pairs and added these to the mix for yoga, general house wear and when I need to take the heels off to get home! They fix in my bag and came with a small bag to put them in! You forget that you are wearing shoes really. I wear a size 9 in all my other shoes and all my Vibrams are size 40. I have a bad back that causes me to limp when thing get awful from my heels but my Vibrams put my alignment back in order all the time.

Back for a second pair because I need them!! Seriously, these are less delicate than they look. I have used them outdoors for trail walks and they have held up beautifully. These are my first pair of Vibrams, and they are, to my surprise, extremely therapeutic for my wide stuff bunioned feet. They are much less structured than other Vibrams and will be great for hot weather. Thanks Zappos for letting me try on all the shoes!!

These shoes run a bit larger. I usually wear a 40 in Vibrams but in this I wear a 39. perfect. I like the lacey look. When I could not find them a year or so ago, I bought them from a store in Germany. Because they are delicate, I do not wear them outside, changing in to them once in the fitness center.

I bought it for someone. They are really awesome in color. Picture does not do justice. Also come in a small bag to hold them for travel. Feedback from person I bought is that they are super comfortable for regular walks and Yoga. Give good grip on smooth floor for Yoga. Also fabric is soft and non abrasive. I bought this 1 size smaller as fitting. e.g. usually she wears 38 and I got this 37 (based on reviews by people across net) and 37 fits fine.

These are the greatest shoes ever! Especially in the heat of South Carolina. If you like to be barefoot, you will love these shoes.

Shoes are easy to put on. Cool on your feet. Make sure not too tight on your ankle - can cause ankle pain.

I ordered these because I like Five Fingers shoes (because I really hate shoes in general, flip flops,for me whenever I can!) and these looked cute. I am a professional musician and have to wear black all the time. In addition, I play the harp where one has to use feet to operate the pedals. I practice barefoot and had worn black ballet shoes on stage but now I can wear these instead. It feels like playing barefoot which is awesome and they stay on better than the ballet shoes. I have very short and wide feet so it is hard to find shoes that fit. These did, yay!

I bought a pair of these in size 42 because all of my other Vibram Fivefingers are size 42. I love my Alizta's and thought I would love theses too but they are just too big. I really would like to try a size 41 but can't find any. I find this very odd that all of my Five fingers are very consistent in size except for these.

I got these types when my other Vibrams (Alizta) fell apart at the toe seam. My feet are a bit wide so I liked these much better since they don't have the restrictive straps running across the tops. I use these for everyday wear and also for the gym. You can run in them and they stay on but I would recommend using something with more cushion if going long distances (plus recent lawsuit fun). These are amazing shoes and absolutely perfect if you want something the equivalent of wandering around in comfy, breathable socks but the protection of shoes. Yay!

I got these 2 weeks ago they are my first barefoot trainers they were brilliant straight out of the box I used the vibram size guide. I'm one of the lucky men who can wear this style.They are really comfortable and shape to your feet as they are mesh and are very cool in the warm weather I would highly recommend these to anyone I've just ordered a 2nd pair to use as slippers around the house.

Vibram - Vi-B Black is my 3rd pair for Vibram shoes, or should I say gloves that hug my feet. I wear them everywhere in the city and for walks at the lake. They are light and the upper mesh provides plenty of air flow. I love that they have an Anti Microbial Drilex Sockliner and can be washed cold + Air Dry. Individual Sizing: I always order a size bigger like the space / length for my toes. Design: simple a huge move toward a dressier style. Comfort: I can sleep in them. Very comfortable as all other Vibram products I use (Vibram FiveFingers KSO Water Shoe, Vibram Fivefingers Alitza Running Shoes).

I bought these because I expected them to be easier to put on than the Vibram shoes. They are. I can see my toes and know whether they are positioned correctly as I slip them on. The material is soft enough to allow the wearer to manipulate the toes into a correct position. The sole is thinner than my other Vibram shoe, but I intend to wear them mostly around the house. I left off one star only due to the thin soles. They are very comfortable.

I love these! The only thing is I hope it never rains where you are from if you are considering purchasing these. I got caught in a light drizzle and walking on the pavement soaked my feet! Even though they were drenched, they ended up drying very quickly. Which I was ecstatic about. Be prepared for people to make comments about these shoes, I have gotten mixed reviews from the people in my life concerning the looks of these, but no matter! Because I am overjoyed with these shoes.

Can't really get any more lightweight than these! I like the idea of these for summertime strolls. But as someone mentioned earlier, these don't have a strap on top, so they feel a bit like they are going to fall off all the time. I fear that this sensation will cause me to subconsciously alter my gait, which could lead to injury over time, so I'm sending these shoes back. I hope that Vibram Fivefingers will make a version with one little elastic strap over the top, because I would buy that version for sure! Also, I wish that they would start making their shoes available in some subtler colors (not just black and neon).

These are really comfortable shoes at first, though they're just narrow enough to pinch after an hour or two for someone who has wide feet. They only pinch in one spot, just under the toe box, which is more pronounced when doing any amount of standing still. It may take a bit of getting used to to get all of your toes in the right position the first few times, but totally worth it. You can feel the ground quite well, and that's pretty wonderful. I would say that anyone who ever wears wide shoes should look elsewhere.

Really wanted an airy Vibram since I moved to FL. I thought these would be perfect. Listening to other reviews I ordered a size smaller than my normal Vibrams. They are too tight but the toe pockets are too big. I wore them for an hour and I had imprints in my feet and felt like I was getting a blister on my left foot. Sending them back. Because of the huge toe pockets I won't be ordering the size larger.
