As my first pair of FiveFingers, I have to say I am enjoying them, overall. I have spent about a month working into them, starting from an hour a day to (just this week) the full day. My previous pair of shoes was the Merrell's Bare Access 2, so I'm reasonably familiar with the minimalist style. I am not a runner, but I walk around town a lot, and I stand all day at my standing desk. Minimalist shoes have been the key to allowing me to manage that without knee, leg, and foot pain. I'm a bit concerned about the workmanship and durability of these shoes, however. There were a number of loose threads inside the shoes when I got them. Also, after just one leg day (weight-lifting), they are noticeably more stretched out. Time will tell.

I had been wearing a pair of KSO (non-EVO), but when it was time to get new shoes I went with the new EVO line after speaking with Vibram's customer service. I thought the new laces design would be a nuisance as I was used to the velcro design, but after a few weeks of use I was proven wrong. Overall, this is an improvement in walking experience over my previous pair. That said, if you over-tighten the shoes the sides are very soft and will roll or warp into an uncomfortably on the insides of your feet. Also, this version lacks the pull tag at the back (that makes getting the shoes on easier) and I miss that. Those small problems to the side, I very much enjoy wearing these as my everyday athletic shoes.

Most comfortable VFFs yet, although I wish the vibram under the arch were wider. My feet are 9 3/8" long and about 3 1/2" wide, so the 39 fit quite well. Plus, since these are Men's, the laces are long enough. These VFFs are very flexible (unlike most of their others) and as close to barefoot as can be. Really great for when it's just a bit too cold to go shoeless.

The raised big label and lettering in the sole is non absorbent and a dumb idea, sort of like a sweaty blob under the foot. My old Vibrams, which I love, have a comfortable absorbent insole, way better.

I've been wearing VFF's for several years now and have maybe ten pair. I am really displeased to find they've altered their dimensions once again. I really love the feel of these new soles they've brought out this year but this is the second new style that doesn't fit. Unfortunately, going up a size to accommodate my big toe will make the shoe even more "too big" for my smaller toes. So, most people may be fine with these but folks with "longer" shaped feet will need to be wary.

I have my old pair which are the same size and compared them to this new pair. This new pair of shoes are a full size smaller than the old pair

The look of the shoe is great however I found this shoe to be very uncomfortable and it was only worn 3 times by me when I was in Aruba. The area of concern is around the toes, not enough room once you walk and your toes do spread after I had a whole shoe size bigger than what I wear

I am not sure whether the quality has dropped, my first pair was bought at Amazon, and it lasted me three years of weight training and occasional treadmill. My second pair lasted for one-ish year but my recent pair from Zappos lasted literally five months. Bought in Sep and its Jan, already there is hole in the toe finger. Mind you, I didn't train for three weeks in December, and it's been used primarily for weight training with possibly under 25 miles on treadmill overall. It never saw any grass or outdoors. Definitely not worth the asking price and WILL NOT RECOMMEND. Manufacturer doesn't have any warranty on Five Fingers.

Five weeks of owning them, and the bases started separating from the big toes. Major disappointment

I wasn't surprised here, I washed mine, dried, without dryer but the details on toe and overlay chipped off. The quality is very poor! I won't return this but I will never buy another.

This Vibram debacle is quite possibly the worst online shopping experience that I have ever had. It started with purchasing a pair off of Amazon. The shoes were laughably small. I actually jammed one of them on my feet just to prove a point. Needlessly they got returned in an attempt to adjust for the horrible fitment I went from a 13 to a 14½ size. The new shoes swung in the opposite direction. My size 13 was horribly small with the first pair the second pair, ordered 1½ sizes, up from my regular size is probably two inches too big. If I was not buying these to help my feet I would give up.
