Excellent shoe, excellent arch support. Broke my old pair and ordered these the next day. Knew that I couldn't be without them for very long. I have several (ok, a lot) of other shoes with excellent arch support but none compare to these. A mini massage with each step. These are my go to shoes for everything. I wear a 8-8.5 depending on the shoes. A 8 is a good fit, a 9 would have been a bit too big. Not sold in half sizes. If you have a narrow foot I would not recommend this style as it is a true Medium width. They make other styles that would work better for you.

If you're one of the forgotten minority of supinators, this may be the shoe for you! And it's vegan-friendly, too. I'm one of the 20 percent of folks who supinate—that is, walk on the outside of my foot. I have extremely high arches, complicated by bone spurs and severe Achilles tendinopathy. My physical therapist calls me a walking orthopedic disaster area! The problem is, no one makes shoes for supinators. Chacos and Orthaheel/Vionics are superb, but I have a pair of Chacos, and the arch support is not only too firm, it's too high. I bought them last summer, and it's only a year later, after numerous failed attempts, that I have finally trained myself to wear them: the arch is so high that it exaggerates my natural tendency to supinate and actually throws my foot off the outside edge of the shoe. Enter the Olukai Ohanas: truly heavenly Hawaiian flip flops. The moment I put them on, I felt instant pain relief. They are like walking on clouds, or pillows, making even the hardest sidewalk feel like a memory foam mattress. It's true that the arch support isn't as pronounced as in the Chacos, but for me, that's a good thing. The Ohana does offer good arch support, but the footbed gives just enough so that my foot stays on it, and isn't forced off the side of the shoe. I don't own any Orthaheels, but I can compare the Ohana to the Chaco. Both shoes are true to size and width, but the Chaco just barely fits my foot, both in length and width. [I have a slightly-wider-than-average toe box.] The straps on the Chaco are also tight: not too tight, but after wearing the shoes for a few hours, the straps seem to make normal foot swelling a bit worse, and they become uncomfortable. The Ohana fits my foot with a bit more room on all sides, though it's by no means too big. The straps on the Ohana are looser, too. For me, with the wide toes and high arch, this is far more comfortable, but your mileage may vary, especially if you have a narrow foot. The strap is comfortable, even the toe post; and despite the slightly-looser fit, my foot stays securely in the shoe with each stride. Like the Chaco, the Ohana has an anatomical footbed, with a recessed heel cup, and that helps stabilize the foot. I get great traction with the Ohana. But the incredibly smooth footbed of the Ohana conforms more to the sole of your foot, whereas the Chaco is rigid and isn't going to do that, not ever. That may mean the Chaco will last longer, but the comfort level is much lower. Bottom line: I have found flip-flop nirvana in the Ohana, and I've already ordered another pair in a different color. They offer good arch support, excellent traction and stability, and the best comfort of any shoe I've ever owned. I'm a convert! [Note: Olukai says you can actually put these shoes through the washing machine!]

A bit small, but more problematic, a very high, uncomfortable inner arch - not good for anyone without a natural high arch to their foot! Would have been tremendous otherwise.

I bought this flip flop having the need to carry a lightweight shoe with me during rainy season for an upcoming Florida trip. I have had surgery for a Morten's Nueroma and typically wear only Birkenstocks. This flip flop has great arch support, good depth between the strap and footbed which a lot of flip flops lack. It only comes in whole sizes and medium width but by going up to a size 8 it works. Due to short toes, I do have about 5/8" from my big toe to tip of the front of the shoe. That is typical. I can not wear them all the time due to lack of a good cushion between my Nueroma location between the ball of my foot and toes but these work fantastic for rainy weather and around the pool! I bought a set of 4 different colors for my Midwest house and my Florida house. Very comfy flip flop.

I love these sandals! They are so comfortable from when you put them on in the mornings until you kick them off at night. I have 5 pair in different colors!

These are hands down the best flip flops I have ever tried. They are worth every penny. I have the purple, blue & brown. They are the only shoes you'll see me in all summer. I am a size 8 women's shoe normally, but my foot is narrow. I wear a 7 in these flip flops. Don't hesitate to order them, You will not be disappointed. Zappos is awesome for shipping & customer service is top notch.

Fantastic! I am suffering from plantar fasciitis for the first time after running for 20 years and had resigned myself to wearing my running shoes (with an instep support) all summer. These are the first shoes I've worn that provide the same support as my sneakers but give me the option of a flip flop. I rated as five stars for comfort. Some reviews said the arch support is too pronounced, if you have tried instep supports for plantar fasciitis or other foot problem, trust me this is nothing. You can feel it but it's not at all uncomfortable. My feet tend toward wide and these fit from day 1 - maybe if you have very narrow feet size down but I wear a 6.5 and the 7 was perfect. As for styling, I won't lie, I didn't get compliments but for a supportive flip flop these are better than most (I did a lot of research, some are downright ugly) and I love that they come in different colors.

The bed of the flop is soft but the surrounding crust is stiff. It's a good balance of support. I'll pay extra any day for a quality product!

Great little summer shoe for the boat and around town. My hubby got a pair of OluKai sandals last year. So happy to finally try them out. I am a size 7 1/2 and I have a thin foot. Size 7 is perfect. Going to order another color soon!

I love these shoes. I bought a pair in Kauai and left them by mistake in Mexico so I had to buy another pair, which I did through Zappos. They are very comfortable and a great color!

Super comfy, tons of walking and bike riding in these in dirt and beach and no blisters despite not being broken in. They aren't great to look at, but they're flip flops.

Tried lots and lots of sandals before I chose this one, both in white and turquoise. Great fit, even though I have a wide foot. And so comfortable...something that's not always easy to find in a flip flop.

I have plantar fasciitis. I've also had a foot surgery due to a bone spur in my heel on the same foot. I have been in pain for over a year. Then I found these flip flops. I can finally walk all day and not want to cry myself to sleep at night. These are amazing shoes. If you have the dreaded fasciitis, try these! I'm hoping the sneakers are the same miracle as these flippies as I'm about to buy them as well.

Just got these flip flops in the mail today. I have never worn this brand. They are comfortable from the start. I love how they look and they feel so good. A good quality shoe. I got the red and am getting ready to order another pair now.

Very comfortable. Normally I never buy this shoe style because I always found them uncomfortable and awkward to walk in, not these. This is my second pair and hope to get some more colors in the future.

I just like flip flops. I wear then year round in the house. I bought these worried I'd not wear them enough for the cost to be defended. I live in them!!! I've even washed them several times and they are like new. Best ever!

Excellent sturdy flip flop with amazing arch support. They are also very good looking. Great with shorts, skirts, jeans or whatever. Living in Arizona we wear flip flops often and these are great.

These are my favorite flip flops ever. They felt a bit hard on the first day, but after a few days of wear they have molded to the bottom of my feet perfectly. Plus I like the cute colors.

Love these flip flops, they are very comfortable and look really cute with my swimsuits. I have a wide foot, so they may be too wide if your foot is narrow.

These are the only flip flop shoes I can wear. They are wonderful. Good arch support for a flip flop. I own 4 pairs. They hold up and last forever.

Very happy with these sandals. I have problems with my knees and the arch support is wonderful. I thought I was happy with my Reefs but these are a step above!

I am a huge OluKai fan. This was my second pair I bought and it is as comfy as the first one I am still wearing. I just wanted another color. These sandals are durable and when I am not at work it is all I wear in the summer. It is worth the extra money.
