I really like these boots, very good looking on, my family liked them on me too ha ha, they felt true to size pretty much right out of box, but I would recommend getting 1/2 size smaller for break in purpose, example: get a 10 if you are a 10 1/2, because after couple days they break in then feel little bigger/looser, but it is nice to have the laces to tighten them up. Now for the quality I feel they are excellent! Material seems to be great quality. On the first day the tongue on right foot felt like it was slightly digging in too top of foot right at first but it breaks in, as in the weight I have to be honest , felt on heavier side in the box before opening (ha ha) and first day wearing them but these are composite toe boots and tell they will probably last very well and will save my feet while working if I drop something on them, after day or two I got a little more comfortable wearing them, and just for the record on saying heavier weight this is my first set of work boots I always wear tennis shoes, so overall I would say I'm very pleased with my purchase as for someone recommended this Carhart brand to me, thanks Zappos

The shoes fit nice and feel great

I bought these to replace a pair of Keens that to my disappointment began to fall apart after 9 months of use. I have a pair of Carhartt Ground Force that I was very happy with but Zappos did not have my size in stock. I saw good reviews on the Work-flex pair and decided to give them a try. it took about 3 days of wearing to fully break them in with the portion by the front of the ankle being the last to break in. They are a comfortable boot. I replaced the insoles as I need a more supportive arch than manufacturers can provide but it is a very comfortable boot. The soles like the Ground Force ones are easy cleaning and designed so they don't catch a lot of dirt or debris. I live in Michigan and am outdoors for a majority of my work so this time of year this is a good feature of the boot. I am very happy with my purchase so far.

Boots are awesome, true to size. These are my second pair of boots. They’re comfortable durable very reliable. It is water resistant until maybe standing in the rain for 6 hours after that your feet will get wet. But other then that best boots I bought.

I bought these for my husband as his old work boots were shot. Being an electrician, he needed to have a good boot with a comp toe that would support the days on his feet. He absolutely loves them. These are the only boots that I have been able to find him and order in his true size, a 9.5 wide. He absolutely loves them!

This is my fourth pair. I buy them every 10 months just cause my feet stink.

I ordered the larger width for the extra space in the toe box area. It definitely provides more comfort with the wider space. I also inserted Dr. Scholl's comfort fit orthotics on top of the insoles (i know it's not recommended). Overall, as work boots go, these are comfortable. However, the laces are oddly thin for a work boot. I immediately ordered replacement laces out of concern that the laces may break prematurely.

over all very comfortable boots that have held up well for the last 8 months. will likely get much more use out of them before getting rid of them. very comfortable by comparison to other shoes ive worn. they hold up well against chemicals. need new laces already. they started to shear in several places early on.

Stiff work boot if that is what you like.
