These shoes are so adorable on my 3 year old. I love that they zip as well as tie because she can put them on by herself. She says they are very comfortable and wears them for long periods of time without complaining. We love pink and these boots!

These are the perfect boots for out little one. I love Docs and my four year old granddaughter is crazy about the hot pink. Having the side zip along with the laces is brilliant.

Docs are one of the greatest shoes around because of their comfort and durability, and the kids collection is no different! We had gotten the solid black Brooklee boot last year for our daughter and it was amazing. She called them her "rock star boots"! They were comfortable on her feet, looked great with jeans or a skirt or a dress... and best of all they held up to everything she could put the boots through. This year she wanted the polka dot ones, so we're excited to see how the more canvas textured boots hold out. They look adorable, with the combination of cute polka dots and edgy-rugged butt-kicking boots! Totally her personality... The thick sole of the boots give a lot towards the comfort of the boot, as well as the long term quality that lasts. The zipper on the inside of the boot makes it easy for even the smallest hands to be independent. All around, you just can't go wrong with Doc boots for any person of any age!

I purchased these shoes for my 4-year-old. These shoes are adorable and well made but they are a pain to get on and a bit narrow. Going a size up would be way too big. I'm sure they might stretch a bit over time but I don't want my daughter to be uncomfortable running around preschool in a tight stiff shoe for any length of time. Also the laces are a bit short and don't stay tied that well even with a double knot to secure them. We wanted to love these but they were a miss for us.

I ordered my four year old and myself a pair of Dr. Martens thinking that we would be so cute wearing our boots together. Sadly they are way too stiff for a child's feet, my daughter would not even let me get them all the way on before protesting that it hurt. I love the pair that I got for myself and I know that she will be stealing them in about 10 years. My suggestion to anyone thinking about these for their kid is to wait until their feet mature, but go ahead and get a pair for yourself.
