I’d been eyeing these sandals for what felt like a year or two. So glad to have them now - too bad I hadn’t bought them sooner! Totally Doc Martens style, and I love that. They are heavier looking than so many other sandals out there and might not be for everyone, but anyone looking at Dr Martens will know that. These are my first pair of Doc’s sandals since I was a teenager in the 90’s and the quality is still there as I remembered. Only reasons for a 4-star rating instead of 5 are: -Left foot is ever so slightly tighter than the right (and gave a small blister on second wear) - Wish the ankle strap were longer - Black dye rubs off on foot I have a wide foot and usually wear size 8 - 8.5 (38) in sandals. In these I purchased a UK5 and they’re just right. Would absolutely recommend.

I was looking for a plain black Dr. Marten's sandal, and none of the women's styles really appealed to me. I saw these in the DM store on the men's side and was told that they're a "unisex" style. They fit like a dream, 100% true to Dr. Marten's sizing. They're not too heavy but are extremely well-crafted. Having 2 adjustable straps instead of just 1 is a great feature. I look forward to many happy years with them.

Feels well-made. Despite being a sandal, these shoes still have that unmistakable Doc Martens style. Unfortunately, the strap across the toes is not adjustable and was juuust too tight for my (admittedly wider-than-normal) foot, so I had to return them. ?

Very comfortable and true to my usual Dr Marten size. I'm undecided on keeping them just because I'm not sure how flattering the toe strap is on my particular foot, but in terms of comfort testing around the apartment, they feel great. I imagine there will be some breaking in with thick socks on the treadmill if I keep them, but anyone who owns docs knows that's a given. Even with that, still much more comfortable out of the box than most.
