Ditto what previous reviews said about a very plain, not very stylish appearance. It's not so bad, but there are other, cuter shoes out there. Also ditto about the soft leather. They are crazy comfy though, and offer really great inner arch support.

Same size I wear in all my beloved Aetrex shoes, but these are short and very wide. In this size, my toes hit the front, but the shoe is so wide it won't stay on. I got the next size, as well, and it was huge. If it did fit, there would be the toe cleavage spoken of. Although padded insole, it doesn't have the arch support I count on in these shoes. As I can't wear either pair, they will be returned. I was really hoping for Aetrex flats!

Whoa, these were a huge disappointment. This shoe is very lightweight and the sole is very supportive and comfortable. The fit was just a tad short in my usual size 6. I could've taken a 6.5 instead. As another reviewer mentioned, the leather is very soft and VERY thin, but only on the left shoe of the pair I received (the red). So the left shoe was wrinkled and creased at the toes (and you could see my toenails) and the right side was smooth (like two different styles). Also, I had read the review that said these were unattractive, but being older and not-so-chic I figured I'd like them regardless. The previous reviewer was spot-on and these look nothing like ballet flats; they're quite orthopedic looking (and I'm 50 and usually wear 'sensible shoes'). I am returning them.
