This is a comfort shoe that is fashion-conscious. Best of both worlds, and easy to dress up or down. Been wearing these about every other day for a month. I like to let them air out for at least a day so they won't become stinky, even tho' they have anti-bacterial footbed technology. Immediately comfy. Leather straps have smooth edges -- no digging in to skin. Light as a feather: makes these perfect for travel! The footbed is soft, 'peach skin' or microfiber-feeling material. Great support, but not stiff at all: I feel my foot sinks a tad into the cushiony sole w/ each step. This shoe is pretty close to being the perfect comfort sandal if you have narrow, non-meaty feet like me. Many comfort sandals are sooo wide! My toes have plenty of room to spread out without hitting a raised edge, like Birkenstock or Mephisto has. YET, the Velcro adjustable strap secures my feet so no swimming around in shoes that are also great for wide-footed folks! I bought a size 7, & my toes have plenty of room -- toes don't come close to edge. LOVE love love these shoes! Wish they came in orange! (I didn't buy these from Zappo's, which doesn't carry the white/silver color (yet?) that I bought locally. But, I adore Zappo's!!)

Fairly comfortable, but if something around your toe bothers you, then these shoes might not be it for you. The weight of the shoe pulls at your large toe as you walk, it feels like a tug. It bothered me the first time I wore them but I got used to it and now I don't notice. Otherwise, very cute and comfy shoe!

These shoes are my hands-down favorite summer sandals. I bought a pair last summer and wore them out so this is a purchase to replace them. They go with everything from shorts to dresses and are so comfortable you can wear them all day and all night. Try them out!!

These are amazing. They are really and truly amazing. I have so major foot issues and these sandals are so comfortable right out of the box, I wore them for six hours. They look great and feel great. It does not get much better than that!

Another great choice for shoes to wear while traveling and looking stylish. I was looking at Birkenstocks but decided to go with this one. I love how adjustable this is and looks good with skirts, jeans, shorts and dresses. I ordered an 8½ and it fits well. The adjustable straps help. If you are iffy on the size, I would go up because you can always adjust.

I so wanted this to fit because I loved the style. However, the strap across the top of the arch did not work well at all with my foot. This brand has beautiful soft leather, and this shoe might work well for someone who doesn't have an extreme high arch as I have.

These sandals hurt my toes on the side strap and big toe. I usually try Orthaheels but wanted to try something different but didn't work out. I have very high arches and plantar fasciitis these sandals did not give me enough arch support. Back to Zappos to exchange for Tides.

I have plantar fasciitis and these are a huge relief. I can walk distances in the comfy shoes and are cute too.

I highly recommend this sandal! I tried on many pairs of sandals before choosing this one. I am an outdoorsy person and I wanted a comfortable sandal I could walk a long distance in and maybe get wet occasionally. I decided I was through with cork footbeds because although they are comfortable they require excessive care and maintenance. I began my search with the least expensive thong styles that interested me. When I found one I could live with I ordered a few more expensive pairs to compare. This sandal offers more comfort than the pricey pairs I sampled. It also comes in half sizes for a perfect 7 1/2 fit (more expensive pairs did not offer half sizes) These sandals have a comfortable maintenance free sole with much more arch support and lift than a flip flop. The price is reasonable and the style is just what I was looking for. I ordered black and am now just waiting for the snow to melt up here in Maine. Without Zappos Id still be searching. I could never have found all the styles and sizes I tried on in one store. I feel satisfied that I got the best shoe. The return policy makes it really easy to shop! Thank You Zappos!

These are a great blend of comfort and style. I wore head all summer while pregnant, and the adjustable strap was great as my feet swelled up! A great alternative for me beyond just plain "flip flops". Very good for walking distances too!

Adjustable main strap to customize fit, good durable footbed cushioning. Shock absorbing medium-low height arch support My go to footwear and that is saying a lot for someone with back and leg joint pain. And the bonus is they do not make my size 9M feet look bigger!

Very cute, and comfortable. The extra strap helps to hide my bunions. Good arch support but I have a very high arch so I need even more.

Cute and comfortable! I'm on my feet all day, and needed some comfortable shoes for work. I dropped a table on my foot a few years ago, and the adjustable strap really helps when it swells a bit. These definitely fit the bill! True to size, nice, comfy insole. I do wish they had a bit more arch support, but I would still buy them, again, without any change!

I bought these sandals to wear after finishing therapy from having my ankle and foot in a cast for over 3 months; broken ankle and foot and torn tendons and ligaments. I am uncomfortable in most shoes or sandals...but not these! Not only do they provide support for my arch, they are extremely comfortable and attractive. I like them so much, I ordered another pair in a different color. I've gotten lots of compliments on them. I'm not sure what the one reviewer meant by saying they're clunky- they are anything but. I think they're perfect, and the comfort is amazing. On a side note, I do not have "meaty" feet- they are wide across the outer bones, but not at all wide or fleshy. I could see where the non-adjustable toe straps may be tight on someone at first, but I am sure they'd stretch with wear.

Really cute! These felt like the right size and width but the toe loop on one shoe pulled my big toe over in an uncomfortable way. Also, even though several reviews said these have excellent arch support, I didnt think so.

Loved the shoe but strap between toe was too stiff and rubbed. If not for the toe they would of been very comfortable.

The problem with these shoes is that the toe strap is too far down the foot bed so your foot is not sitting in the whole shoe, lots of room above the toe. the straps are strangling the toe because of it. otherwise would have liked them.

These sandals definitely helped my plantar fasciitis. They were a little snug and needed to be stretched. I have other Aetrex shoes and would buy them again.

Has good arch support, but wish it had a little more metatarsal support/cushion. All in all a pretty good sandal for the style but overpriced. I have very sensitive ball of foot this is why I wish a litte more cushion there.

Cute, comfortable but a little more clunky and earthy looking than one of their styles I bought a couple of years ago. Needs to be streamlined. I only buy these because I need shoes with higher arches for my plantar fasciitis. These are at least comfortable.

Wow, this brand seems to run very, very wide! I have thin/skinny feet that are narrow in the heel and slightly wide through the ball/toe area, with very severe overpronation and low arches. These shoes appear to have pretty aggressive arch support, but the footbed is so wide that my arches ended up collapsing for lack of support, even with the strap fastened as tightly as possible. (The arch contour was just kind of off to the side of where I needed it to be.) I normally wear Vionic sandals, which are on the wide side for sure, but these Aetrex sandals are taking wide to a new level. I think women with bulkier feet would fare much better in these shoes.

Beautiful shoe but unfortunately returning it. The placement of the arch and the toe post is off. They are too close together forcing the toe post to dig into the area between the toes. If this spacing had been farther apart, I am sure this would have been a great shoe. Zaps shipping is great as usual, ordered on Tuesday evening and received on Thursday.
